Really good food to eat once in a while since fast food should be consumed in moderation. The chicken fingers are tender and perfectly cooked. Fries are cooked just right and the Texas toast is really soft. Instead of gravy you get«Cane Sauce» which goes well with every food item they have. Overall great place for a bit of fast food dining :)

Cane’s is a great establishment! My kids love it and go there all the time. I enjoy having a box combo every once in a while. The absolute best part about Cane’s is the special sauce. The sauce gives the chicken and fries the perfect flavor! Don’t even get me started on the toast, Cane’s has the absolute best toast I have ever had. The staff is also very friendly(Karla is my favorite as she is always so kind.) I highly recommend Cane’s to anyone who wants a good meal for a good price!

First time visit today, for the fact im not that big on chicken. Anywho, I went threw the drive thru and ordered the three piece tender meal with lemonade. I can say everything was good. No line in the drive thru, fast service, friendly and cheerful cashier. I personally didn’t like the sauce. I see a lot of people mix mayo, ketchup and all kind stuff. Not me! I am a honey mustard kinda girl…

Love the food, but only order drive thru. Me and my husband always go through the drive thru and our order is always right, hot, and fast. The one time we went Inside it was chaos they had me waiting over 15 minutes for my food. People that ordered behind me got their food first. When I spoke to manager all he said was sorry they must have lost my ticket… When I did get my food I needed one more sauce I figured after all that mess they can give me one sauce. Nope they were gonna charge me. I just got a Togo box and left.

I can’t believe this place has bad reviews. First they do one thing and one thing only, chicken tenders. They do it right. If you review this place and give a bad one please message me and tell me where you get chicken so I can go. I wanna taste that chicken. I would have to say canes has the best chicken tender I’ve ever had. Sounds crazy to say but where is one that’s better? Don’t say chic filet either. I love chic filet but it’s different not better. Let’s not forget it’s a 6 dollar commitment. Maybe even 5 dollars.

I was introduced to Cane’s many years ago in NOLA. As a hungry and on a budget student, it quickly became the go to place for a meal after severe cram sessions. Fast forward a decade plus, and you can imagine my excitement that the bay area was getting its very own Cane’s! Conveniently located in the fast developing Hwy 96 and South Shore Blvd area of League City, this chicken spot hits the taste bud. Don’t be fooled by the winding drive — thru line, it moves very fast and wait times are minimal. As for the food, I have mixed feelings. On my first visit I thought it was the greatest thing outside of the LSU gates. The chicken tenders were succulently juicy with a perfectly crispy exterior. The Texas Toast was on the smaller side in terms of surface area but the thickness and flavor were right on. The coleslaw was a little on the runny side which is not my preference, but some folks might like that, and let’s face it most of us aren’t knocking doors down for the slaw. The show stopper for me has always been the sauce, and boy I was not disappointed! My second visit was a bit of a letdown. I think it was due to my wanting to relive that initial experience, and it just didn’t happen. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. They chicken tenders were on the smaller side and they weren’t as juicy. Plus, the spices were on the blander side. It could be that they were having an off day, and I wouldn’t write them off, but it wasn’t the chicken high I was expecting. On the plus side, the sauce was just as addictive the second time proving that at least in that area they are consistent. So, overall I have to say it is a good pit stop for your fix of craving busters, but beware that it can be a wallet buster, too. The caniac box is priced at $ 10.99(6 tenders, coleslaw, texas toast, fries, drink and 2 sauces). It’s a good alternative to Popeye’s and the Colonel but there’s room for improvement.

4 stars for the drive-thru experience! It was a breeze compared to my last dine-in visit. I got my order quickly, it was hot, and when we got home to check it we even had 3 extra Cane’s sauces in the bag! Whoop whoop! 2 stars earned!

My sons loves their chicken fingers, it actually pretty good and juicy. The restaurant is clean, staff are nice… The owner of this restaurant Sam is awesome, he is very good in dealing with the customers, he will take responsibilities of their mistake, asap! If u are in hurry this is good place to stop by.

Cane’s is kind of an all or nothing type of place since they’ve only really got 1 product. If you like their chicken, you’ll probably like the restaurant. But if you don’t, there’s really nothing else here for you. As far as this particular location, it seems like they’re still working some of the opening kinks out, like slow drive thru lines and getting to the window and the workers not knowing what you ordered. But I’m sure it’ll get better.

If you’re looking for a fast food location that supplies you with food that is not in any way good for you then I’d give this location 4 stars. Yet, I’m reviewing this from my personal perspective of a person looking for an alternative chicken dining establishment. Sadly, this is not a very distinct place. The chicken strips were not dry(so that is a plus) but they are extremely oil laden, even for fried food. This made the meal a bit difficult to consume. No special seasoning so I’d say fairly middle of the road. The special dip is mediocre and the optional honey-mustard was too sweet and too watery. The wavy fries are fine; nothing extraordinary or specially seasoned. Coleslaw and Texas Toast were the best part. Unfortunately I felt horrible for about 2 hours after. It is not a place to go if you have any sort of a healthy conscience for yourself. And if you’re healthy and want to occasionally reward yourself these calories are not worth your reward. Find somewhere else.

I don’t know what all the hype is about. Restaurant & bathroom were clean. The staff is young & unattentive. Order at the counter & they call your name to pick it up. Food came out pretty fast. The food was no bueno. Basically a platter of oily chicken, served with crinkled fries, coleslaw & half a hotdog bun doused with butter & toasted. Two options for dipping sauces, the special sauce(meh) & the honey mustard that was way too sweet. I honestly felt sick afterwards & had an oily taste in my mouth until I was able to get home & brush my teeth. I get that many people would like this place since it’s convenient but frankly there’s better fast food out there if that’s what you’re looking for. I’ll take pass on this place in the future.

First time chicken was piping hot and fresh. Second time was greasy and lukewarm. Both times drive thru was wrapped around parking lot making ingress & egress difficult. Been to several canes but my last trip was very disappointing because of the Luke warm greasy chicken strips. Not just greasy but old, burned tasting grease. Hope it gets better.

I’ll rate it four stars because it was a decent, not too salty, chicken strip. I won’t go back because I’m not a big chicken strip fan. I heard the stuff is a really big deal at LSU games… long standing tradition. To me they just weren’t anything to stand in line for.

This was my first time here. It’s a new location but the service was actually very good despite how busy they were. Parking is a bit of a disaster but thats to be expected when a place opens like this. The food was pretty good, but they do rely on their Canes sauce on the sandwich. I wasn’t a huge fan, but if you like that kind of thing you’ll enjoy this place. My only complaint was that the sandwich was three tenders rather than a patty(like Chick fil A), so it was a little hard to keep together.

I’m pretty perplexed by the people who’ve previously reviewed this place. A ton of people in the area are very excited and hyped about this place. Decent prices. Fries are average. Chicken needs a lot more seasoning and isn’t juicy at all. Pretty dry. The only redeemable quality is the sauce, it’s kind of sour.

Despite the long drive thru line on opening weekend, it actually moved pretty quick. The employees seemed happy and like they weren’t over worked and hosting their lives at the end of a busy day. To me that says a lot for a business that can get repetitive seeing as though they only make tenders and fries. The food is always good and canes and the buildings are very week maintained, hopefully this location can stay that way as well. My only complaint would be the lack of a large enough dining room to support business levels and lack of a two lane drive thru. I think business have picked up on the efficiency it can offer, and to open a business without one, especially in an area that only has two other«fast food» options, was a pretty large oversight. That being said, I’ll definitely return once the«new» factor dies down so I can have some of that sweet tea and canes sauce! Keep up the great work Sam!

So it’s finally it opened. Only to be disappointed. The chicken was bland and lack any real flavor. Not too high in the juiciness factor either. Their sauce made the chicken taste better but not by much. Chic fil A sauce is much better. The only good thing about their chicken is that it is not as salty at all compared to other fast food chicken places. To the point where it’s almost tasteless.

First check-in and first to review woo-whoo! To say it was a grand opening it went quick to me. In and out in 30 min and that includes me getting out of my car to go and get a caniac card and then getting back in to go through the drive-thru. There must’ve been 150 – 200 ppl there(drive-thru and walk-ins total). A police officer was managing the crowd so I think that’s why things went smoothly. Ppl are crazy and think they can do whatever they want so I’m glad they thought to have a cop controlling the place. My food was hot as at any Raising Canes. I will be back. Oh yea get you a Caniac card. Once you register it you get a free box combo!
