Leo & Ken’s Truck Stop and Restaurant

I came to this establishment on a whim one day. Being new to Lawton, I hadn’t tried a whole lot of places.
I knew this was a truck stop, so I didn’t expect much of «quality» or even being «nice.»
I will say, I have tried numerous items on the menu, although this place isn’t updated and whatnot. The food is pretty good and very reasonable.
I went back today for carry-​out. I got myself a patty melt and my boyfriend a chicken fry with mashed potatoes.
Both items came out fast and were hot and delicious.
The total came out to about $ 11.00.
If you are looking for fancy dining, this isn’t the place for that. But, if you want something cheap, hot and tasty. Go try it.

It is a hole in the wall truck stop but the food is awesome I definitely recommend this as a must eat in Lawton Oklahoma. if you’re looking to wine and dine your romantic partner this is not your place definitely great for breakfast they serve it all day it’s awesome

A true hole in the wall.
If you’re from California, you would understand that the hole in a wall restaurants are the place to be.
The restaurant is not immaculate with cleanliness but it serves it’s purpose. Our waitress was Lacey (not sure of the spelling) and she was very polite. She greeted us right away and brought our menus, she answered our questions and had no problems explaining. (I was wondering if the entire breakfast menu was considered «full» breakfast)
My husband ordered the two pork chops with scrambled eggs, hash brown, and two silver dollar pancakes; I ordered the Spanish omelette with hash brown and two silver dollar pancakes. The meal was outstanding! We weren’t fans of the pancakes but that won’t deter us from going back.
It was our first time there and it won’t be our last.
Next time I will look at the menu in more detail. I didn’t see anything offensive but the reviews I read definitely scared me, I thought it was a «whites only» type of environment. I relaxed once we were greeted with a smile.

I eat here every time I come into town. If I’m real hungry the Big Country Breakfast, the omelets if I’m just regular hungry, or the Trucker burger. This place has been around forever and places don’t stay afloat if they suck. Ask anyone how many restaurants have come and gone in this town that have prettier décor, WiFi, and some of the other complaints on these reviews. I go to a restaurant for the FOOD. Everything else is second place.

Small mom and pop place, good breakfast food at a good price. Had the steak and eggs… You will not leave hungry! The service was good, had hot coffee every few sips. I would not say this is the cleanest place in town but a good fast sit down places, reminds me of good truck stop food. Lastly they do offer a military discount for all those who serve. I thought this was awesome as not all places do even in a military town.

I’ve had a lot of omelets (and nothing else) here and for a greasy spoon dive this place is alright. The waitstaff is middle aged white Lawtonians who don’t move that fast, and yes, they do have some xenophobic message stuff on the menu that might make some people uncomfortable. Come for the cheap, decent greasy food, leave for the better world outside the doors.

WTF! No free WiFi! No Alcohol! And it doesn’t even accept credit card? What kind of truck stop is this…

The food was the standard frozen variety, but the service was so bad it made the food look gourmet. I’d rather have them ignore me than the scowls I got for just ordering food. To top it off, the bathroom nearly made me hurl. AVOID.

Terrible service

This diner is extremely xenophobic & racist. I spoke a sentence in a different language and had this handed to me.
where do they come off treating a patron and American citizen as a lesser person? by handing this note all they did was leave a bad taste in my mouth! (pun intended, food was shit as well.) please help spread the word, this diner does not deserve an self respecting persons’ business.

The food was worse than the service. I ordered a burger and it was undercooked, so I kindly let them know which was greeted with a huff. Won’t go back.

Best and most affordable plate dinners in town and the 1lb. All American Burger is awesome!
