Had the California burger had great flavor the fries was great and place was very clean will definitely go back

I don’t really understand the hype. The burger was okay, grease bomb and nothing special. Fries were previously frozen and the fried pickles were bland at best. The food is edible but nothing that I would rave to friends about. I’d be willing to give it one more try but I definitely don’t find it worth the price tag.

Outstanding service! The best I’ve had in Lawton and the place is very well unkept. I had the California burger with fries and it was fairly priced. The burger was great and so was the bun but I would have liked the bun to be a little less. Seemed kind of thick. The fries were cooked perfectly. Nice and crunchy and very consistent. Definitely going back.

If you are new to Lawton I highly recommend coming here for an awesome burger. We came for lunch, and the next day we went back for dinner. The service is phenomenal and the burgers are amazing!

From other reviews I expected the place to be packed at 6:00 PM. Not so much, only one other person there. Kind of kitschy cool, but mostly a bunch of mis-​matched tables.
I had the basic McKenzie burger and fries. Pre-​made patty and frozen fries. Didn’t taste too bad, but for 10 bucks I expected a little more. Probably won’t be back.

Awesome grilled chicken sandwich and onion rings! Really friendly and chilled atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Both the Angus and Buffalo burgers are fabulous! Always moist and the buns have just a hint of sweetness. Order a root beer float while you wait for your order in the best burger joint in Lawton!
The Hawaiian is on point, then I tried the Cali and decided to try to eat through the menu. Plus, it’s local!

What a fabulous little burger spot!
I got the burger with the ghost pepper cheese, poblano peppers, & red onion. The burger was nicely charred and juicy. Even the bun was really good! The owner said the buns are their own recipe made for them at a bakery in Texas, it’s a really interesting soft, dense, and squishy roll that tastes terrific with the burger.
For my side I had the Nuts and Bolts which were deep fried onion petals and jalapeños served with a really tasty homemade sauce that’s sort of like a salsa-​ranch. They were spicy and delicious!
The service was extremely friendly and welcoming, from the moment you order your food until you leave. The owner came to each table and checked on everyone personally. The space itself is pretty large, it’s decorated with both car and diner themes. It’s got a strange little gift shop at the front of the building but I didn’t really take a look, too hungry! Prices initially seem high but they do include fries and a drink so the price was actually very reasonable. I got the smaller sized burger and left VERY full!
The only thing missing was a cold beer. ;)

Very good place all around! Excellent food! Their prices are very comparable and much cheaper than other burger places in town but this place has much better food! We spent a fortune at Mooyas and I wasn’t fond of it at all! They are very welcoming, greeted us with such enthusiasm, made sure we were doing ok, just a really nice family owned burger joint! Loved seeing their daughter working hard right along with them! They defiantly take pride in their place and its very clean! We will defiantly be back over and over!

Recent return visits have been somewhat of an improvement.
TV is better. Food is pretty consistent so I know what to expect and how to order.
The owners and the family were there in a recent visit and they were delightful. It’s great hearing the real history of the building.

What a pleasant surprise. Found it on Unilocal and took a shot in the dark and it paid off in spades. The food was awesome. I would consider this one of my definite favorites in Lawton. We took the whole family there and the staff made us feel that we were part of their family. The setting was very clean and interesting, the burgers were perfect and the options were truly you outstanding. I was pleased with every aspect and we left so full but wanted to keep eating. The prices were very very reasonable and we were only disappointed that we couldn’t eat more. Did I mention they have funnel cake and an ice cream bar too. Take time out of your day to find the gem!!!

It is hard for me to give a full 5 to anything, ha, but I had to for this one. Its a burger spot — not fancy dinner. Real deal garage that was owned by a couple and then was passed down through the fam. There is this great charm about Nancy who will walk around and talk to you and tell you all about her life there, while referring to «Les» by first name, so sweet, and not that annoying way some owners walk around talking to people, «how ya doin? Everything aiight?» No. Like your grandma and she is so cute! She will tell you about her got rods and racing them back in the day. Ok, now the food. Burger was outstanding! Fries were good, lots of dips to choose from. I had pulled pork and it wasn’t bad but could’ve used a little more zest, but this place is the bee knees. All in all — if i am ever in Lawton, Ok again ill make it my biz to go here.

Really great place. Clean and well done. The story of how it came together is touching. The burger was cooked to perfection with fresh onions and mushrooms sautéed over it. I will be back.

Meat and veggies were great but bun was cold and chewy. If they would grill their buns they would rate a 5 star rating. Fries and onion rings are frozen.

This is my first visit to a «burger joint» besides S & B. The food here is AMAZING !!! The burger patty was so moist and practically fell apart before I took a bite. The fries were fresh and had a slight crisp to them (I don’t like hard fries). The BBQ sauce was out of this world. I didn’t have anything requiring BBQ sauce but I tried it on my fries and I felt in heaven. Apparently the manager makes it himself and sells for about $ 5.
My husband had the Kitty’s Chicken Delight with fries and a drink, while I ordered the Afterburner Burger. The chicken nuggets were great with and without the gravy. This place is a hidden treasure, literally. The downside is the location and the lack of advertisements. Other than that, I highly recommend you stop by.
Our meals were under $ 20 total. They offer 10% military discounts and kids meals for $ 3.99 that includes a cone.

Overcooked and expensive. We’d expected a fast food place, and were surprised when we found casual dining. The prices were certainly in line with casual dining, but the quality was disappointing. We ordered our burgers to go, and found dried, small overcooked patty of very finely ground meat, and iceberg lettuce. The buns weren’t bad. The tomatoes were fresh. We ordered the smaller of the two sizes of burgers offered. The burgers are ala carte, and sides are offered at additional charge. We had the onion rings, which were fresh and crisp, but heavy with oil and poorly drained.
The cooks need to be better trained, and management needs to watch quality bit closer. The garage theme appealed to us, but if the food isn’t prepared well, even a great atmosphere wouldn’t bring me back.
