This place just reopened as Sweets and Treats. I don’t know about the prior spot but this was fine. My 2 year old and I came in to grab some ice cream. The girl behind the counter was very nice and courteous with my daughter and offered to let us try lots of samples. They have some really cool flavored like Superman and Playdough. The ice cream was nothing special but I enjoyed the friendly service and the NCAA tourney games were on the big screen. The building the place is in is a little unorthodox and there’s a lot of steps but we had a fun daddy daughter date and will come back because the service was good.

I am not sure if this is under new ownership or what. It’s no longer called«the double dipper». I don’t know whether to complain or to thank them for the mighty small serving size. I don’t know about you, but when I order a single scoop waffle cone, I would expect more ice cream than a kiddie size small serving. I mean the ice cream didn’t even hit the top or the bottom of the cone! The reason I would thank them is that it’s less calories on my thighs. Seriously though, if I ask for a waffle cone, don’t give me a measly tiny scoop! Fill me up! It tasted good, give me more.

Came here for the coffee. It’s pretty comparable to any gas station coffee with a cappichino machine. I still like the idea of this place so I will return.

For some reason I was in the mood for ice cream, now my stomach on the other hand didn’t get the memo. I rarely ever eat ice cream because of said stomach and I know that my limit is a little less than 1 scoop. This place was soooo cute, pink walls and this girl loves pink. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and shared their favorite flavors and also let me sample since I couldn’t decide on two. I ended up with a caramel crunch of some sort on a waffle cone. It was pretty good but I ended up dumping half out because it was too much(still with the 1 scoop). If I’m ever in the neighborhood again on a summer day I’d definitely stop in again!

Best. Ice cream. Ever. Went in here and wanted a lot of ice cream. Got three flavors in a quart for $ 6.99 for my boyfriend and I. We chose birthday cake, moose tracks, and peanut butter vs. Cookie. I love it so much I’m writing this review WHILEEATINGIT, didn’t even want to wait until later!

Tried a few flavors from here. The atmosphere is pretty family orientated and it’s a cool place to hang out on a hot summer day. They have a wide variety of flavors and all the ice cream is Hersey’s, so that’s a plus. Will be back in the near future.

Great service, quaint décor, and a lovely addition to the neighborhood. You must try their lattes and mint chocolate chip. Mmmmmmm!

I thought this place was so cute. We were really excited for ice cream. Between my peanut butter sundae and his banana split we tried 5 different ice creams. All the flavors are hershey, which is excellent. The two girls at the counter were very nice. We didn’t have to wait long at all. I’d much rather eat here for my ice cream fix than other chain places. We will return !

This place is super cute, I love the bubblegum pink walls! :) It’s a lot bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside so I was surprised they had a bunch of tables and they were packed on a Sunday afternoon. Went to grab some ice cream in a sugar cone and I was disappointed in my flavor. I got the strawberry cheesecake and it tasted like strawberry topping you buy in a jar(not fresh) and it had like 2 chunks of cheesecake in it. I did check-in and get 10% off my bill but not sure if it would be a ice cream go-to. I think all their flavors were Hershey’s. They also serve breakfast and sandwiches.

Great ice cream parlor to have here in Laurel. We have started going pretty frequently, and I would probably be there all the time if we lived just a bit closer(a very walkable neighborhood, right near downtown). Consistent good service, great ice cream(you’ve got to like Hershey’s, though, of course), and a clean, pleasant atmosphere. Never tried the non-ice-cream food, but it’s nice that it’s an option. Free wi-fi and if the Orioles are playing, that game is on the very nice TV in the back. There’s also the seating outside, which is great especially when you’d like to bring your dog along. I love that they’re a small, independent business and are clearly involved in their community(fundraisers, plenty of postings and information about events up in the store, etc.).

Great place! Independent small biz! Great ice cream! What’s wrong? It’s too hard to see as you motor by. If they could put an old fashioned ice cream cone– shaped wood sign perpendicular to the building(as opposed to on it), an light it the old fashioned way with two 50’s flood lights, it would really perk up the place!

YUM! Hershey’s ice cream served here with a good amount of selection. I love the space in the back to hang out and just enjoy your ice cream with friends. The shakes were AMAZING. The smoothie we got on the other hand was way to sweet and artificial though. Def will be craving this on hot summer days!

ahhhhh, it’s amazing! My favorite flavor is the coconut one, it’s simply delicious. Also, try the chocolate chip one.(Simple flavors, i know) The prices here are so cheap, which is why i come back. It’s about $ 2.64(with tax) for one(HUGE) scoop. Theyre also generous enough to split the scoops into two flavors which I love. The location and scenery is a huge plus. During the summer, stop by and eat outside at the tables. It’s a beachy type place and it feels great.

This place is adorable. Classic ice cream shop. Single or double scoops. Cost a total of $ 8 for my hubby and I. I only wished they had some homemade flavors not just Hershey produced gallons. There’s also seating outside for nice days.

$ 6 for a 2 scoop, and a 1 scoop? Not bad considering it’s Hershey’s. I got a chocolate ice cream, which was really good, and a cappuccino ice cream with toffee pieces and chocolate, loved it. Big scoops, even better. Friendly staff. They had a cool flavor called Play-doh which was yellow ice cream with blue and pink something pieces. Didn’t try it but it sounded cool.

I LOVE this place. The ice cream is sooooooooo darn good. I’m a sucker for the strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Yummy. It’s not that expensive either. Wished I found this place sooner.

Unfortunately, I may be a little biased since my comparison is the Ice Cream Cottage in Arbutus who also serves Hershey ice cream for much less; however, since we moved to Laurel, this will suffice for a replacement. A single scoop is $ 2.59, and the portions are reasonably generous. And c’mon it’s Hershey’s ice cream, which of course means it’s DELICIOUS!!! I noticed on the menu they have a great assortment of coffee drinks too, which we will definitely have to go back and try!

ICECREAM!!! Mom and Pop place. Owner is a nice multitasking middle aged fat guy named Robert. He is a plumber and will give you a good deal on work if you ask nice while eating his ice cream. But discount service work aside, if you love good ice cream you need to be here. If you don’t love good ice cream go away, no one likes you. Real Hershey’s Ice cream. It is so good I am going to go a second time today. The wife and I decided to check them out on a whim. The idea was mine and I am claiming this great find all by myself. Now we will take the family in to see the great ice cream place I found. Oh, they have coffee and espresso. They will make you a latte as well. I had a cup of coffee and the wife had a latte. Both were far batter then Starbucks. I am a coffee-aholic. I know good coffee when I taste it. The place is decorated very nicely for an ice cream parlor, with some very cool(pun) chairs. Well I gotta go, need to get back over there, my coffee is gone and so is my ice cream :(
