Hard Bean Cafe

I went here a couple of times and every time it’s satisfy! A great place to ready just relax and chat! Will come back again!

To be brutality honest, I don’t really like coffee so I feel my review won’t be complete without trying one, then theirs the «I don’t coffee, so I won’t know if it’s bad or good» generally maybe but I wouldn’t be 100%
With being said, I do my cakes. I went in trying to grab a cupcake, grabbed one which he said was pineapple and a butterscotch cake…
The atmosphere was bare and it smelled like fresh paint… off putting.
I leave and bite into my cupcake… NO it was not pineapple it was just plain vanilla with a vanilla whip and tasted like something you’d get at a grocery store but it was also dry like old dry. Same the the butterscotch same cake same icing, except there was butterscotch drip which was old it had the taste of other food.
I’m only giving a three because I think there still up and coming he even handed me a menu with upcoming food. But being honest if their food is like there pastries… im not looking forward to it.

Fantastic experience, price is favorable.
Deserts are excellent. Menu is expanding. Look foward to coming back.

I was looking for a coffeeshop to do some work. Stumbled onto this place. I will definitely come back.

The bf decided to take me to Hard Bean, he comes here often. It was my first time here and I was in the mood for something cold. I got the cookies and cream frappé while the bf got the vanilla latte. Both were equally delicious. While there we were offered a free sample of mango cake, which was so sweet but so good. The café seems like a perfect place to study. I will definitely come again and bring my books next time!

My aunt and I were walk around and saw this place. She stopped by and order a moca frabb to try. Omg she loved it. She made me to try her, and I have to admit that I can smell of the coffee is so fresh and taste so so good. So i came back again and got my hubby hook to it.

This is a good place for a quick coffee when you’re rushed. Free WiFi is a plus. Outdoor tables will make it popular on weekend mornings.

Agree with Alex M. The place looks like a cheap version of a sparsely stocked 7 – 11 and that’s not because the guy on duty was Indian or Pakistani. It was barren inside with no appeal. I’ve been to the HBC in Annapolis countless times over the years and this location in Laurel was the most disappointing coffee shop visit I’ve ever had and I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively. The iced latte was so horrific that after I got it, drove away in my car and tasted it, I poured it out. Ugh. Will never return.

This guy has no business owning a coffee shop. I ordered a macchiato, and got a latte. When I explain what a macchiato was, he kindly offered to remake the drink. And I got a smaller latte. I gave up at this point. I took the coffee. It was thin and tasteless. A total waste of my money. This guy really needs to spend some time learning his craft. There is 3 bucks I’m never getting back…

Tiny sliver of a shop tucked under the tail feathers of Nandi’s. All the usual caffeinated beverages, and some tasty looking sweets. Three seats in the lounge, with foot massagers and a fake fireplace. Outdoor tables will be great in nice weather. Good brews, I’ll probably be back when thirst and location coincide. This must be the only shopping center of any size without a *$.
