Denny’s

I eat here about once per month. When the food is made well, it tastes great and it’s a good value for the price you pay. But as I said, that’s only when the food is made well. I’ve often had problems here but I continue to go because of the price, which is even cheaper for those with a student ID. Some waiters are great and attentive but some are terrible (ignoring you and not refilling drinks) and they all seem pleasant and nice. Never go during peak times, early morning especially. I’ve been three separate times and there’s always a problem. Once I even left after waiting over an hour for a breakfast sandwich and hashbrowns. It should be noted that for some reason, one side of the building is air conditioned better than the other. When walking in, the right side is at a much better temperature than the left. I hate eating while it’s too hot or cold. If I wanted unpredictable, I’d picnic.

Went to go have dinner, was seated by a long haired older blonde woman, who then asked what we wanted to drink. My husband and I both ordered unsweet tea, but he wanted lemon and I did not. A few minutes later, another woman came out with two waters, one with lemon and one without! (I’m writing this review, because this is NOT the first time we have had a problem with this blonde waitress. We are pretty regular customers at this location, and one time I asked for unsweet tea, I took a drink and it was sweet tea. I told this blonde waitress that the tea was wrong and she stood there and argued with me! And said she poured it herself!)
After being served these waters, which we didn’t ask for and feeling it was a blatant error on the waitress part, we got up and left, not knowing how our food would be effected!
As we were leaving a Hispanic waiter came up to us and apologized and said give them another chance. We said no, that the dumb blonde waitress intentionally messed up our drink order, it’s not the first time we have had problems with her so we will go elsewhere!
I did not report this to the manager because it was the younger female manager working, and she is «friends or friendly» with this blonde waitress and the complaint would have fallen on deaf ears!
Our regular waitress has taken a leave of absence and let me just say, she puts the rest of them to shame. Miss our waitress…
Denny’s really needs to do something about their staff and management because it’s very, very poor, except for Diamond/​Jessica.

I am giving this a 5/​5, but it’s important to note it’s a Dennys. I don’t typically rate corporate chain restaurants but this dennys really stands out above the rest. This is the best Dennys I’ve been to, it’s nice, clean, food is great, and the service is great.

We tend to like this place because IHOP gets super packed and we get a quicker service occasionally we don’t get very nice waiters. Wish they had better training. Don’t seem organized either many times other tables get served before us even though they arrived after.

I really wish the servers were better here. They’re rude, and act like they couldn’t care less about their tables. Do they not realize this is how they make a living? You have to have good customer service to be a server. You also have to refill drinks once in a while. When you ask for everything and the server acts mad about it, you know there’s an issue. This particular Denny’s is pretty gross and old looking. Could use s remodel. I try to not think about how dirty it is… Guess I’ll make the drive and eat at a different one. Can’t stand the service at this one!

Late breakfast with a friend! Can’t go wrong with some hash browns and bacon! My friend had the breakfast sampler. Came with everything plus side plate of pancakes.

Great food, but they need to work on cleanliness. They wipe down the tables, but not the chairs/​booths, so everything they wipe off the tables lands in the chairs/​booths.

Denny’s serve great food, any time of the day or night. It’s one of our favorite restaurants, I love the chicken noodle soup. I’m having some as I’m writing this. You need to come and have some. You won’t be sorry.

Ok well, don’t go after a football game cause they can’t handle the crowd. If you go at an off time it great all around but if they are busy it is not a happy place
