I love this place and it is one of the last stops we make whenever we visit Lake Placid. We make sure to fill up on our popcorn fix, Moose Crunch. I think their prices are a little high, especially for our favorite flavor. I think I could easily go to the store and buy the items and make a bigger batch, but whatever. They staff is friendly and it smells so good when you walk in. They have a small selection of gifts and cute little signs, which I picked up. We went walking around the town on a Sunday evening and most of the stores were closed. It was nice to see that this place was open late.

Moose Crunch is my absolute favorite. My boyfriend has lived in LP for over a year now and every time he comes back home (3 hrs away) I make him bring me Moose Crunch Popcorn! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because once in awhile I find a few strands of hair in my popcorn. The last bag I got was littered with hair. I had to throw it away! Which is upsetting.

I’m a popcorn fanatic and these folks have mastered popcorn! The popcorn is delicious and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is cute and filled with all sorts of cool popcorn stuff. They are one of my favorite reasons for visiting Lake Placid.

Took a trip to the Adirondacks this weekend and after enjoying Oktoberfest I made a stop here. I had been craving popcorn and I must say the Birthday Cake popcorn was excellent. Enjoyed the Moose munch as well! The sweet and salty definitely satisfied my tastebuds. Your staff was very cordial and the popcorn kernel counter was so neat! Thank you so much! I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I have been buying popcorn from these guys for years now. After all, I am the 5th generation of my family to vacation to Lake Placid. Because of that, I like to think I know a thing or two about what’s good around here, so take my word for it when I say this stuff is deliciousssss. I always get the dill pickle flavored popcorn. Don’t worry though, they have sweet stuff too. Like… really sweet stuff. Like I am talking seriously decadent.
Absolutely stop in if you find yourself in the area, and try the dill popcorn! You will not be disappointed (but if by some chance you are, my bad.)

MOOSE CRUNCH OH MY GOD!!! If you’re not allergic to nuts, you have to try this! Popcorn, chocolate, peanut butter, and pretzels! We got several bags last time and they didn’t make it home. The 5 hour bus ride makes it kind of impossible.
We stayed in the hotel next door for the past two years in a row while we were on an annual ski trip and you can smell the popcorn from up the block. That buttery aroma just seems to lure people in… The prices are kinda high, but for a touristy town, it’s about what I’d expect.
We also sampled the dill pickle flavor and the salt and vinegar, which were great if you want a more savory snack.

Loved every minute I was in there. For starters, I just smells amazing. They have so many different types of popcorn –from birthday cake to dill pickle. Prices are so reasonable and they even have popcorn accessories for the popcorn lover! I went home with some kettle corn and different types of salt I can use later.

Entirely overpriced. I was disappointed to see that the small bags were $ 3.99 and that the prices varied so much among the bags. I understand that cost per bag could vary, based on cost of ingredient, but three standard sizes would have been efficient — and expected. I chose a flavor that was not prebagged, unfortunately, and was told that the sea salt and black pepper only came in a box. Not conducive as a to-​go souvenir. All of this could have been overlooked if the Moose Tracks and Salt & Pepper were delicious. They were not. I recommend choosing a different treat.

YUM! SO DELICIOUS! The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is because they don’t have all their flavors available for sampling before buying. I decided to get the popcorns I enjoyed after sampling the ones available: Red, white, and blue (cherry, vanilla, and blueberry) mixed with Kettle corn and cheddar. Delicious mix! Can’t go wrong here, I’m sure!

Absolutely the best caramel corn we have had in awhile ! We vacationed in Lake Placid and bought a few of their flavored popcorns while walking downtown, After tasting it we decided we had to buy more and bring it home with us ! Well we bought a gallon tin and it didn’t last the night – just ordered 6.5 gallon tin online and had it shipped. Simply the best we’ve had in a long while ! Definately stop in when in Lake Placid – cute store and great popcorn. Great service when ordering online too — cute tins and would make a great gift :)
