Went in on Friday night at the insistence of my fiancé. Had never tried Kava before. Quaint little place with a cool atmosphere and mesmerizing videos on flat screens.
The Kava: I had never had it before. I had the Ed Shell to start. Definitely has an earthy taste but not terrible. The relaxing effects were noticeable quite quickly.
Kava Refresher: My fiancé and I had 2 of the strawberry daiquiri refreshers. Very tasty, less earthy.
Staff: The guy at the bar ‘Urig’ explained what it is, what to expect, and made recommendations. Friendly guy and knowledgeable. Made great conversation with my fiancé and I. Extremely attentive.
Overall: We had a great relaxed time. The staff is nice and welcoming. It’s a small place but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Easy to find. Easy parking. There will definitely be a next time.
I’ll have to try the tea!

Stopped in around xmas time with my husband to see if it was a nicer environment then the Lake Worth location. (because the LW one is honestly scary) but it was a little better. still pretty trashy though.
The employees were talking about how their boss’ like to prey on the «weak» people in recovery centers and turn a profit. I was appalled to hear that honestly. I kept on listening to this kid and he had many interesting things to say. sad to say that I will not recommend this place to ANY one either …

When me and my friend went, we expected a somewhat relaxing environment with decent service. What we got was a bartender who spoke short and choppy, seemed to be nicer to the other customers, who I assumed were regulars, and didn’t bother to acquaint us in any aspect of the bar, even though it was quite obvious we were new to the place. Just not a good experience, and there were many things the bartender could’ve done to improve that. I believe the lack of friendly service was due to the fact that me and my friend were young (18). We won’t be visiting again, and will be telling many people not to visit.

This place is now a full bar, no longer take out and it is amazing! Chris V (Munson) makes the experience the best it can possibly be!!! I wouldn’t of kept coming if it weren’t for how kind he was my first day there… Yes the kava/​kradom can get a little expensive, but it is way cheaper then it used to be I think this place has really transformed into an amazing place, the sense of family you get when walking in just wants you to stay that much longer… I love the little table in the front it is fun to sit there and chat. I hope this place is around for a long time

Cant say i have anything to compare it to because i dont go to kava bars, but i tried it, and the only thing missing was relaxing seating to talk to the person you are with. Its all bar. But Chris makes a great kava.

Kava is best enjoyed with other people and there was nobody here when I came for the first time. The bartender was friendly enough I suppose but my experience was nothing special. 15 $ for a small kratom tea and I barely felt it. Definitely prefer the other kava bars in the area to this one.

Great spot, good people, nice vibes. Definintly stop by for $ 1 shells @ 1pm (or at 1am if you are super dedicated). Barkeeps are chill, informed, and friendly. Lots of regulars, all are friendly. Krattom is also availible in many affordable forms.
