Delicious. Flaky and savory empanadas. Fresh pastelitos. Café con leche — a definite must! I had the 8oz Cortadito… It was strong, sweet, and frothy. Very easy and laid back vibe. Went there around 930 on a Monday morning– short line. The staff was friendly and helpful. A definite must.

Great neighborhood coffee shop. Café Con Late was excellent. The eggs were very fresh. We didn’t order any baked goods, but should have. They looked fabulous!

This is a great Cuban bakery. I absolutely love this place. The bacon egg and cheese croissant is the best breakfast sandwich. Additionally the café con leche is second to none. You can even get the con leche strong or lighter. Please try it

Excellent Cuban coffee and HUGE Cuban sandwich which was fantastic! Hubby loves the guava pastry. We used to come here for a quick breakfast but it seems over the last year or so they have raised prices and lower portion size. Two things that should not hit at the same time. It angers your regulars. My in-laws used to come here everyday… literally. Now it’s a once and a while but we all still stop by for a coffee and maybe a pastry and it’s on my me and my husbands of lunch ideas for that tasty Cuban sammmmmish… yum!

I have been going Tulipan(Orginal location) since I was in mom’s belly growing up with a cuban mother, I acquired the love for quality cuban food. My workshop is very close to this npb location and I have been going daily for the last couple of months. I really enjoy a good café con leche in the afternoon. The pastries are ok, but the service has gone seriously downhill. It’s a little embarrasing to think that I have spent around 1k in café con leche’s and pastries in the last couple of months! Today I once again recieved the wrong pastry. Maybe the girls are just tired of working by the afternoon, but when I returned and told the gal that I got the wrong pastry, she glanced back in confusion and then went back to chatting with the other gals. The nail in the coffin for me was the last 3 times the café con leche was just not made well. I am not an active reviewer on here, but hope that the owner is able to use this to bring this cuban bakery back to the level of the original one. All that said, if you are unfamiliar with cuban food, you likely will not notice the difference. ‘This is one great beef empanada!’ Sorry amigo, that’s chicken and don’t expect to get what you order.

Very good Cuban food and coffee, service is a little bit slow but they get pretty crowded with the morning work rush.

Ordered 2 Cubans and a chicken sandwich. Asked for no green peppers on the chicken sandwich it was loaded with green peppers. This is absolutely the WORSE Cuban sandwich I have ever ate. The pork is cheap lunch meat and has s gamey taste. No mustard at all mayo on one side only. HORRIBLE!

Saw bakery on the gift certificate site, and bought it… six months ago. Found myself in the area today and dropped in, for the first time. Handed them the certificate, it didn’t phase the staff — true service with a smile. They walked me through the incredible items, gave me suggestions, and I left with amazing items. The empanadas were fantastic(and fresh), the pastries were everything i could ask for, and again most importantly the customer service was fantastic. I’ll be back soon!

Amazing coffee skills here. Their espressos drink colada(4oz of fresh espresso and sugar) is on point and exactly how my grandpa made it growing up. Not for the caffeine sensitive and expect the possibility of a full fledged addiction. This beats out celia cruz as cuba’s prized cultural export anyday.

I grew up with real Italian bakeries sprinkled through town. I understand that water plays a huge role in baking. I have yet to find those tasty treats from childhood in FL. I have visited Tulipan a few times hoping that something has improved only to be disappointed. We stopped in yesterday while the doggie was being groomed down the street. We got a sampling of the mini pastries, a large sprinkle cookie and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookies were not even close to good — they were too airy and not sweet enough. My daughter took one bite of flan and was done. She proclaimed the cream puff to be yucky. She ate the cannoli and a mini chocolate peanut butter cup of sorts. Once again we were disappointed. I may have the bar set too high. Maybe Cuban is so different from Italian that I will always be let down. It could be me.

This may be the best Cuban coffee in North Palm Beach. The baked goods are exceptional, and the sandwiches are phenomenal. I have come in during all different times of the day and there are always patrons here. I would imagine with the amount of people coming in, everything is made fresh daily. The staff is always very nice and they work very quickly and efficiently to get you your food.

Love this place! The coffee is amazing. I strongly suggest the café con Leche. You can’t miss with the Cuban sandwiches either. I’ve also tried several pastries and they were all delish. At times, there can be a long line here, but so worth the wait!

I had the Cuban sandwich and sweet plantains. Disappointed with both, not very good at all. I threw away the majority of the meal I spent $ 8 plus dollars on. Should of went to Pollo Tropical. Wouldn’t suggest this to anyone.

Tulipan bakery is about as close to heaven as you can get on Earth. I have never had a bad experience here. The Cuban sandwich is on point, and the empanadas are wildly delicious. The coffee is strong and sweet, the juice is freshly squeezed, and the pastries are beyond compare. Get in here and treat yo self!

You want to get something good and fast? A place with tables but no wait? No wait staff to deal with? Then this is it! The gals at the counter are fast, and there are generally plenty on duty so there isn’t much waiting. Pay, grab, N GO, or eat it there in one of the booths, or stools at a long bar like table. The flour empanadas are $ 2.15. I like the ham and cheese best! The guava cream cheese pastries are good too. Im sure many more are that I haven’t tried. I noticed a couple near me eating a Cuban Sandwich, $ 6.75 and the other had the breadfast of Cuban Bread, 2 eggs, and bacon. The breakfast looked good! Go to a coffee shop and order that and you will pay much more and the amount of bacon I saw on her place im sure would be twice what a restaurant would have on a similar place. The Cuban Sandwich looked real good too! They have a coupon on too! I’ll go back!!!

Was really bad food. We had the Cuban sandwich. The bread was not fresh, very dry and hard, wasn’t authentic Cuban bread, and the meat tasted off, too. It was so bad that I threw most of it away. Def don’t reco this place at all. The café con leche was good and the pastries in the cases looked good… Maybe that would have been a better choice.(???)

Cuban sandwich is horrible! Let’s put it this way, if a Cuban could come in a can this would be it.
