Alaina’s Bake Shoppe & Cafe

Came back to try dessert this time… and they knocked it out of the park! Iced coffee was great and strawberry shortcake fresh & creamy yet still light. Awesome! Service was fantastic… Kami was delightful and even brought over some mini muffins to try. I will definitely be back & plan to try lunch again… dessert plus large iced coffee that was much better than Starbucks was equally priced if not a little less — well worth it. I only wish they were open later, we would be there after dinner quite often!

I have only been to Alaina’s once and I am unsure of what to do with this review. I ordered the Spartan sandwich and I found it flavorful and delicious if not a bit hard to eat. I appreciated the large glass of water offered and really enjoyed my meal. My waitress was very pleasant and offered nice suggestions.
I decided to order two mini cupcakes on my way out and they were good but not great. They looked lovely though.
* I have an issue with the idea that this is a sit-​down wait staff restaurant when there is no one at the door to greet customers and no signs saying to wait to be seated. I felt a bit foolish when I walked to the counter and was told to take a seat instead. The whole vibe is very coffee house/​bakery and people seemed to be seated in no particular fashion. Perhaps a little sign at the front would be helpful to new customers.

I am a fan, the food is excellent but the service is lackluster. I tried ordering takeout and must have called during the busy time because the phones just rang and rang and rang. I tried calling my entire drive to the restaurant but ended up walking in and ordering lunch to take out instead of calling ahead. I wish I could have placed my order ahead of time because it takes FOREVER to stand there and wait. The few times I have been there though, the food is always good. I like the tuna melt on focaccia bread.

I had to write a special review for this place. They made me feel like family. The staff were warm and extremely friendly. I ordered a custom cake for my wife’s birthday and all I can say is wow! It looked amazing and tasted even better. They made her birthday a huge success. Great job Alaina and company I’ll recommend you guys to everyone.

Great service and delicious food! It was a ‘quiet’ afternoon and there was a constant in and out of people and seriously yummy looking cakes, baked goods, and sandwiches. We had lunch that consisted of twi bite cranberry muffins, spinach soup with mozzarella cheese and old fashioned potato chips and paninis. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the focaccia bread was perfect! We were stuffed so we grabbed pastries and cupcakes to be enjoyed at dessert and breakfast!

Most delicious quiche and yummy salads! Delectable desserts great for hostess gifts. Lunch specials are great and well priced Cute décor and friendly staff.

We got a slightly negative vibe for asking to redeem a coupon for a free cookie which THEY offered, but we WERE given the delicious cookie per the coupon.

Incredibly great quality food. The service was spectacular, the food came out quick, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I also had a cookie to go that I’m looking forward to getting again some time soon.

I really enjoyed this place. The ambient was friendly, the service was efficient and cordial.
I also rather enjoyed the food. This is a nice place to hang around with your friends or just to enjoy a day on your own.
Would definitely recommend it and will be sure to visit again!

I tried their butter pastry, coffee, along with a coconut cupcake and molten lava cupcake. They were all delicious and the cake moist! The atmosphere is excellent, and the space is cute, and the customer service was great. I took a long time to decide what I wanted, as there was a lot of options and was asked many times if I had been helped by multiple employees :) I was in town for vacation and was looking for coffee so I stopped in for coffee and a sweet and went back a second time cause it was so good.

Oh wow, this was a really nice coffee shop. Great view with great coffee and fantastic music. Highly recommend for this place.

I have not wanted to write a review on this place because I don’t want to have to wait when I go here. This place is just awesome and has been since it opened. The food is awesome. Service is awesome especially the waitress Abby who is just adorable. The specials and food are fresh, consistent and just damn good. They always start you off for free with some mini muffins which are divine. Oh and by the way they have fresh made cupcakes, mini cupcakes, cakes and cookies everyday and will do special order cakes if you need them.
If you like great food, great service and an authentic experience… stay home this is one of my favorites… LOL. Come here you won’t be disappointed.

Horrible attitudes. Amazing baked goods. I’m torn. The absolute best macarons I’ve ever eaten, but the most unfriendly personalty behind the counter. Do your customers a favor and get yourself and attitude adjustment. You are only in business because we keep you in business. Amazing food will only go so far.

Awesome independently-​owned bakery. When you dine in, they serve a complimentary sample of a bakery item (today was an almond muffin, moist and delicious). Ordered the Roasted Veggie Panini and it comes with either dill or spicy pickles. The spicy is not mild so be cautious! Served on a plate with a side of kettle chips and always leaves you filled. Service is very quick and my server was very attentive. Splurge on a cupcake or a muffin as they have lots of varieties. I ordered a Kitchen Sink cookie as part of my Unilocal check-​in incentive and it was fantastic. Not chewy or crunch but a bit in between and very tasty (and I’m not even a sweets fan). Fantastic place for lunch and I’m sure the specialty cakes they make must be great!

In love with this place. Every sandwich I have had so far has been amazing. My favorite is the Big Katuna. The little muffin sampler is a nice touch while you are waiting for your lunch.
I brought my daughter one day, and she received a tiny cupcake with glitter as a dessert and she was beside herself with excitement.
I would eat here everyday if I could!

I have been to Alaina’s many times and am never disappointed. Everything from the panini’s to salads to cupcakes are excellent quality and very flavorful. Being a baker myself I am very picky with baked goods and Alaina’s definitely is up to par. The service is also very good.

Sandwich shops have been my thing as of late! I stopped in and had a really great lunch with a friend.
All of the deli sandwiches looked good, all of them! But I ultimately decided on the fuhgedaboutit (sp?) and a cup of potato soup.
The sandwich was flavorful, fresh and really, really good. The soup was okay but not as memorable as the sandwich! All sandwiches are served with a side of spicy pickles and they are delicious.
I COULD not leave without ordering some of the delicious desserts and would highly recommend it to locals and visitors looking for a delicious lunch with a sweeter ending!
