Jasper’s Steak N More Family Restaurant

Went here for breakfast and could have gotten a better meal from mcdonalds. The hostess seated us and it seemed like we were forgotten. It took at least 10mins just to take our coffee order.

I came here because the line at another place I wanted to eat looked incredibly long. I walked around a bit and settled on Jasper’s. The décor is depressing but I was promptly seated and served.
The food: Who the hell makes their egg & cheese bagel sandwiches with poached eggs?!? As I took my first bite and the yolks exploded, I found myself wearing egg and hot cheese all over my lap. I wish I had been asked how I wanted my eggs, because I never would have put poached eggs on anything with a hole in the middle.
After this happened, my waitress was nowhere to be found as I used the napkins from all of the silverware sets at the table. I was really annoyed and then watched as almost the same thing happened to a guy sitting at the table next to me.
Price was good and coffee was never-​ending but I wish I had gone elsewhere that day.

Went here for breakfast. Wasn’t expecting atmosphere, just some good eats and a joint that wouldn’t care if my 2yr old got a little rambunctious.
This place was better than expected honestly. Food was delicious. Waitress was slammed and still accommodating. I’d definitely come back.

The service was ok the girl was super friendly, I think the head chef came around picking up plates but he was all dirty, and gross. The other servers should be working together.
I orders a cheese burger and it has to flavor, probably frozen and the fries were cold. My girl friend ordered a prime rib and it was gray a color I have never seen before when a prime rib is cooked. She didnt eat it and I was so grossed out, only reason why were stayed was just to see the cars drive by during the car show.

Excellent! For dinner, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was great! The meat was easy to bite, the bun was soft and the sandwich had good flavor! My sister ordered the chicken Caesar salad which came in a good size bowl and she finished every last bit of it. My parents both got the prime rib and they would not stop talking about how good it was. They said it’s been years since they’ve had steak served in a good portion and tastes amazing! The service was spectacular. Our waitress was very friendly and catered to our needs. The food did not take long at all. I give this restaurant 5 stars and we will definitely be going back!

Went on 8÷10÷13. I had the prime rib. I am very fussy about prime rib. I was very impressed. It was tender and the aujus was flavorful. The place seemed a little pricey but this resort area is only open about 7 months and then turns into a ghost town. They have to make their money when people are here.
The next moring I went there for breakfast. It was good also but the COFFEE was limp. Who wants limp COFFEE. They should improve that immediately. It is not that difficult to do and why take a hit on your coffee when a minor change can rid any negative comment.

Place needs renovation. Food was sad. Scrambled eggs over cooked and a little burnt. Toasted bagel was toasted on griddle and tasted like fried eggs. Also bagel came with butter on it when it was ordered with cream cheese. Waited longer than normal for food. Not too happy with them.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Just came here for breakfast and my omelette was completely lacking everything! Even eggs!
Place seems like a dirt-​hole too.
Yuck– head somewhere else in the neighborhood.

The other places we checked out for breakfast were packed to the max so we headed over to this place. The staff are super nice! The wood paneling is off putting but don’t let that fool you. The pancakes we had were pretty good and our friends said their omlettes were awesome!

Décor/​Atmosphere * We ended up at Jasper’s for breakfast since we were a group of 12 and they could take us. We sat outside which was fine if I had looked inside I may not have stayed. From the sign with tape on it to the black carpets, the wood paneling, mirrors and what may just be the darkest bathroom I have ever been in everything about the place is old, dated and depressing. Not dirty mind you, just sad looking. Surprisingly there wasn’t dust piled up or anything else disgusting just really, really old.
Service *** Our server started out rough as she seemed a bit overwhelmed but once she settled down everything was smooth. Food took a long time to arrive and came in waves.
Food ***** This is what shocked me the most, everything was absolutely fantastic! Eggs, home fries, pancakes, bacon every dish was prepared like a 5 star restaurant and delicious. The care shown in the preparation was nothing short of remarkable!
Value **** 6 adults and 6 kids $ 125 was very reasonable. Things can add up quickly though as your $ 4 omelette goes up $.85 with each topping.
Overall **** A little generous with the stars but the food was terrific I might have knocked a star off if we had to sit inside. I worry that due to the seasonal nature of the business that upon a return trip that the same kitchen staff will not be there but for this visit they exceeded expectations.
