To be frank, I was initially resistant to coming here because of the name. Thaitanium? Really?! But I read they served mango sticky rice so I had to go just for that. Talk about being pleasantly surprised and delighted! This was a wonderful dining experience. The staff was courteous and friendly, the menu varied and decently priced, and the food was DELICIOUS! We ordered the wonton soup to start. The broth was soothing and flavorful. The main dishes we had were the panang curry(beef) and pad see ewe(pork). Both were very balanced in spiciness, sweetness, and seasoning. Last, but not least, the mango sticky rice was a perfectly indulgent end to a great meal. The only negative thing was that the rice for our curry was a bit on the old/dry end and hard to spoon out. We are definitely going back because the food itself was amazing and the staff was nice and attentive. I really hope this place does well and will stay open for our many future visits.

First time here today, and it was so good! My mom and I ordered Chicken Satay & Cream Cheese Wontons for appetizer. For our entrees, we shared Basil Garlic Chicken, Chicken Pad Thai, Beef Fried Rice. And lastly, we had sweet sticky rice and mango for dessert. We definitely over-ordered for just the two of us. But everything was DELICIOUS. The service was excellent, all of the ladies were so kind & very on it! This place should be called ThaitaniYUM :-) definitely coming back, as well as telling my friends and family about it.

Absolutely delicious! The noodle dish was very tasty and the egg fried rice was perfection. I had the house beef dish with medium spice. Reasonable prices and friendly service.

This Thai food restaurant is the best and closest one to my house. I like it because it’s never too busy and the service is really fast. They changed their takeout boxes since the last time I went but I think they still give a good amount for how much you pay. last time we ordered takeout the man gave us two free Thai teas even without us mentioning the Unilocal check in. I’ve never had this happen with any Asian restaurant I’ve ever been to and it definitely made our meal complete. They have vegetarian friendly options, my favorite is the drunken noodles. My only quarrel is they charge an extra $ 1 if you want to add veggies but they didn’t really give us that much. Maybe that’s just because it was takeout. Overall, I would recommend trying it out! Horrible customer service. I got hung up on from the person that answers the phone. I called and he just kept hanging up on me. That is not the way you treat a paying customer. I end up ordering online which I have done before and he cancelled my order. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Very disrespectful and rude.

This place has it going on. I don’t do Thai food that often and I’m a simple pad see ew type of guy. Went here for lunch with co-workers and the service was as good as it gets. Attentitive, helpful, everything you want in restaurant service. The food was excellent. Had some sort of dumpling soup, tried a dumpling appetizer and had the chicken pad see ew. I ordered it a level 2 out of 5 spice and it was just a bit of heat. I could probably go 3 maybe 4 but they chili rack made it easy to spice it up. Definitely like the red pepper one. It was as good of any thai food I’ve ever had, maybe even the best I’ve had so I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good Thai restaurant.

I really love their Shrimp Tom Yum, the broth is delicious, shrimp have a nice bite, and I love the lemongrass. I don’t order it spicy, even though it’s typically made spicy, but it has a great flavor. I’ve bought this soup twice so far, first time when I was sick, and it seriously cleared my nostrils and really soothed my throat, so great. Second time, brought my sick boyfriend to have the soup too. He ordered Tofu Tom Yum, spicy, which definitely cleared him up. We also ordered the cream cheese wontons, and spring rolls. The cream cheese wontons were SO good. They are my Achille’s Heel, and order them whenever I can even if they are from Panda Express, I’ll still get them. These were fresh, I popped one in my mouth and it burned haha. The inside was creamy, not chunky, the wonton was light and crispy and totally melted in my mouth. I’m a big fan of spring rolls and these were no different. They honestly weren’t the best that I’ve had, but they were good nonetheless. I always check in and get a free Thai Iced Tea, which I love. Depending on my mood, my tastebuds will enjoy the sweetness or think it’s too much. But in general a Thai Iced Tea is very sweet. The servers are very nice and polite, we were the only ones there on a Sunday afternoon, but oddly it was busy when I was by myself on a Wednesday afternoon. But anyway, it’s a place I definitely like going back to.

I decided to give dining in at thaitanium another shot at the recommendation of owner Mark. Service was much better this time! Food was delicious as always. We got some happy hour Singa beer at $ 4 a glass, cream cheese wontons, chicken potstickers, Tom Kah soup, and green curry. Yummm. The Tom Kah soup and green curry are some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Definitely the place to go around Lake Forest area for my Thai food fix. There’s been an explosion of Thai places around the south Lake Forest area but nothing quite hit the spot. The yellow curry was delicious and used great quality ingredients. Tofu pad thai was well done with firm fried tofu. Also have to note that the service was excellent even though we arrived toward the end of business hours.

This is now our favorite Thai place. I feel the chef has improved. I love the use of crushed peanuts, jullliened carrots, red cabbage and regular cabbage garnishes with the entries. Excellent flavors and freshness.

Solid food. Great service. I’ve ordered pickup many times, always in person. I was offered a table and water while I waited. Each time(three times) I was given two free iced coffee because my order was over $ 25. Stop ignoring this place just because it’s in Laguna Woods. Legit decent Thai food with perks if over $ 25. Help check in even offers a bonus coffee and they didn’t mind me doubling up on free stuff. Give them a shot.

I have dined here, ordered to-go and finally had food delivered from here and I should say they are really great with timing, packing and quantity of food. Minimum order for delivery is $ 25. So I got my pad see ew, basil fried rice and small tom kah(coconut cream) and free egg rolls. They said it will take 35 to 45 minutes. But my food arrived in about 20 minutes.

I was craving Thai food and was looking for a place that was authentic, yet was a standout. Based on those two things, I would say this is an average place. The restaurant itself is big enough for large groups. They also have a nice bar set up too. The crowd here is mostly families. 3 stars — Tom Yum soup with vegetables. Good amount of vegetables with a savory broth. The sourness and spiciness is spot on for what you’d expect from this soup. Yeah, nothing special here. 3 stars — Pad Thai noodles with fried tofu and vegetables. The noodles are the thin kind, which I look for in a good Pad Thai! Portion was big enough for two meals. It could have used more sauce, but it still tasted good. The fried tofu had a firm texture, which satisfies me because I requested a non meat option. 4 stars — Service. Attentive staff, friendly, and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. And with a warm goodbye and a genuine invitation to come back. Overall, it’s a good weekday option that’s a dependable meal for those days when you’re too tired to cook after a long day of work.

Wow. Very rarely do I get impressed. But, this place did just that. This place is on-point and as good as(dare I say. maybe even better) than some of the many spots I’ve had up in Thai-Town East-Hollywood all my life. I initially went here because they had several dishes(from their sister restaurant’s menu — Thai Princess) that no other Thai places in South OC had. Which, were very similar menu offerings to the Thai-Town spots I’ve frequented in LA or SF. I had the Moo Yank and duck fried rice. Very simple dishes; but, nowhere else in OC can you find this(except their sister restaurant). You’d have to be in Thai-Town in LA or some other major city. They also have a good prik nam pla(also rarely seen/offered in watered-down South OC Thai places). I give this place a solid 5-star rating for being deliciously on-par to many Thai-Town spots in East-Hollywood, Tenderloin SF, etc. I’m very happy to find this place and that it’s close by. I look fwd to trying more of their stuff.
