Nice and very quaint place! Light breakfast was delightful and it is a fun atmosphere! Go and enjoy

I’m sad I didn’t review this place I was so pleased by this. We walked in not expecting was we saw. It was just this tiny little room with a glass case and table to order food. The lady was the cook and her son took our order and payment. They were both so incredibly nice and that woman can COOK! It was like having breakfast at my mommas. This place is a gem.

This location not open for breakfast or lunch today. Recommend calling prior to traveling here as it seems to be closed for the season or permanently. I can’t give it a fair review.
Update: Yes this location is closed. Travel down Rt 98 East about 8.2 miles. Their new location is in a plaza that is easy to miss as I did. The dinner is next to Florida Linens.

Red Rae’s is a cute little breakfast/​brunch place to go if you’re in Panama City Beach. It is located in a strip mall with shops nearby. The restaurant wasn’t that obvious (since it’s kind of hidden between other shops). As I walked in, there was a very strong food smell. (bad ventilation, I am assuming). Our clothes ended up smelling like food after we left.
We order coffee, a Belgium waffle, some Cajun potatoes, and a Cajun omelette.
I wanted to try their biscuits but unfortunately they were out of it.
The coffee was definitely one of my favorites. We had two cups by the end of the meal.
The Cajun potatoes were delicious.
The omelette had some really good sausages inside. Boyfriend says it was great!
The restaurant has a very homey feel, with friendly service, the chef even came out to greet us.

This resturant was not open per the hours posted on the door or any of the reviews the 3 of us had read. We traveled there to try them out and at 2pm we found they were closed even though they were supposed to be open till 5pm. Very disappointing no signs posted any where stating different hours just the standard hours of operation posted we were discussing what was going on when another couple also came up and they toowere disappointed my wife figured it was an employee who decided not to come into work and didn’t tell anyone.

Very good brunch liked it. Stop in for coffee, breakfast lunch.
Service always good. I think the locals know about this one.

Had breakfast at Rae’s this morning. Yum-​my! Home style cooking, reasonably priced and felt right at home. Will definitely be back next time we visit this area

For a little hole in the wall sandwich shop our food was very good. We had the roast beef and a pastrami rueben and would get both again if we were looking for a sandwich in the area.

When you first walk in its a small café where seating is only available outside. Don’t judge it for its size… The food was great. We had burgers and sandwiches and they were delicious! Highly recommend the club! Great prices and friendly service.

Walked in with 8 kids and 4 adults. Lady looked at us like we were crazy! Just a little place with a mom and kids working.
Outside seating only as far as I can tell.
As far as the food… It started coming out fast. And the kids loved the pancakes!
Adults had eggs/​bacon and it were good.

Fantastic service. We were sitting outside with our dogs and they went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast was tasty and served in huge portions. Great experience so we are looking forward to coming back for lunch and dinner.

Food was good, a little pricy for portions. Nice area, outdoor seating. We had two shrimp po boys. Missing a little zing (lemon). Kids had hot dogs

As long as I visit Carillon Beach Inn, I will be a regular of Red Rae’s. The owner made us feel like family and the food was excellent, as if I had been served by my very own mother. A perfect addition to a perfect vacation.

This is an overdue review as we visited during labor day weekend.
Our group of 8 were hungry and looking for a place to stop by and eat before hitting the beach, but we also had 4 doggies with us too which limited where we could go and eat without having to keep the dogs inside the car.
Someone in the group had suggested Red Rae’s and I remembered bookmarking them on Unilocal so we called to confirm that they were dog-​friendly and piled in the car and headed over.
Because of the dogs, we had to sit outside, which was fine. We pulled a few chairs and tables together in the breezeway, it was a tight fit, but the weather was wonderful and the employees were amazing. The restaurant is located towards the right side of a shopping plaza, and there was a really cute square with a fountain too.
They came and brought out bowls of water for the doggies, and even made a po-​boy for one of our guests even though it was technically breakfast. It looked as if this was a family operated business, as a gentleman, woman and cute little girl who waited on us and checked on us throughout the meal without being intrusive.
The girl was the cutest! She was so polite and even asked if she could pet our dogs before doing so — this is a major thing that most pet owners will tell you that it is dangerous to approach an unfamiliar dog with fingers outreached because some dogs will become defensive or scared enough to bite.
I was super excited when I saw belgian waffles on the menu (they are my kryptonite). The waffle is pretty big, fluffy and came topped with fresh fruit. It was so yummy!
I also ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on croissant which was also pretty large too!
I wish that they served the food on actual plates and not disposable ones just for the sake of the environment, but the food was so dang good that I’m not even taking any points away for that.

I loved Red Rae’s and I’d go back here without a second thought.
After a long morning at the beach, my wife and I drew Unilocal out and wanted to find some place for lunch away from the popular pier area.
Now — getting here is the hard part. This little shopping center is buried around some apartments and a hotel and it was difficult to find. Once parked — we found a sign leading us into the center — but finding Red Rae’s itself was also challenging. We wandered around until we finally found it.
We loved the setting. It’s a mom and pop shop serving up home cooked food with outdoor seating.
We ordered some sammies, a hot dog for the kid and a milkshake for good measure.
The sandwiches were good — not great, but good and satisfying. They use boar’s head meat and that’s ok by me. My kid loved the hot dog — Nathan’s all the way. My milkshake was absolutely perfect.

I never take the time to give a review! But I had to take a second and give credit to Red Rae’s! I ordered just a burger but wow what a surprise! The patty was hand crafted from quality beef cooked to perfection and served on what tasted like homemade fresh bread! My wife had a po-​boy and couldn’t stop talking about how great it was also! The family that operates the place were super nice and made us feel like we were back home! Great food and great service not something you get very often these days! Job well done! Oh and they have great deserts also with a huge selection of delicious ice cream!

I wasn’t expecting this to be as good as it was, my sausage/​egg/​cheese biscuit was great and everyone else in my group enjoyed their food as well. The staff was very friendly!
