Slow service, inedible food, and just overall dirty. I have been 3 times which is 3 too many for dinner or snacks. Only redeeming qualities are 2 for 1 drinks at the bar with live music. So, eat elsewhere then come here to drink cheap and people watch.

James was our waiter and he was on time and attentive. I had the blackened scallops that were plentiful and yummy and my husband had the fried scallops. We were take care of by James from the time we got there until we left. I’ve never had a bad experience there but I have to say this time was the best.

Plenty of peanuts, cheap drinks, all the salad you can eat. Big drawback. Flies! Flies! Flies! Spent the entire meal waving our napkin and watching our food. Food was average. Service was very good.

I’ve been here MANY times and had great interactions with the wait staff. Problem is management. Went in a few days before Valentine’s Day and saw they had a seafood menu for Valentine’s which lasted and few days. So I first ordered my beer, an IPA they have been out of my last 2 trips, and yup out again… No biggy I got another IPA… I told my fiancé how happy I was they had lobster on the menu… Went to order and waiter Peter said that they put the insert in too early and it started the next day… He went to bat for us and asked a manager… They couldn’t do it… I asked for said manager and he came over and I explained that it’s in the menu and he said«there’s a date»(which was in tiny print) and pointed on the menu… RUDE! Not my problem… I said I understand but it’s here in front of me. He stated it shouldn’t be there and walked off. He proceeded to scold my server in plain sight about seeing what he could do. Needless to say I witnessed horrible managerial skills… Working in management myself this was unacceptable. All the manager had to do was apologize and maybe offer to cover my beer(which wasn’t what I ordered) or something of this nature… $ 5 to keep a customer or lose one… Tough choice I know. Good for the server(who I gave over 60% tip) for going to bat for the customer. Shame on management.

Went to try out this place during 2 for 1 time. Had the mimosas which were a good value. Also had the the grilled wings with sauces on the side. The wings were big and plump. No complaints there. However, I don’t know if the waitress was new, but we did not experience the level of service we expected. We felt some negativity. I made a couple of requests, and her answer was«I don’t have a button for that». ?? How about getting a manager to figure it out if you can’t? Didn’t make a good impression with us. I was going to leave a good tip, but I didn’t have a button for that. ;*

Great drinks. Nachos are huge and amazing. Large tables so plenty of room for anything and everything you order. Some strong girly drinks. They will get you white girl wasted. Do not order cheesecake of you are on a «diet» it’s a heart stopper.

Really fun atmosphere with plenty of free peanuts to eat! I see there are many reviews that are not very positive but in my experience the food is good, staff is good and the facility is fun! My dad and his golf buddies eat there at least once per week and the staff knows them my name and takes excellent care of them!

Ever notice how codys never responds to the crummy ratings it receives? Put it simply, they don’t care. They have tons of villagers who frequent this place who have no taste buds left. Ok, I had the barbecue on a roll asked for roll to be toasted, not asking for a lot. The sandwich came out slightly warm and no toasted roll. I figure it might have been hot but waiter was slow to bring out order. He was almost like doing us a favor by taking our order. Someone needs to straighten out things. I have been to other restaurants in the villages, to name one Rubys, and the wait staff is fast, efficient and friendly.

We have been here a number of times now. Their Ribs are one of the best I had, served with their own BBQ sauce. Yum! If you like your onion rings to be the size of a tractor tire, this is your place.(Wings are ok, but not more than that, I would rather have them at another place, being a wing lover.) Last night I think our waitress had a bad day, smiles where not even possible to order as extras… With that said I would like you to know, that is very unusual. I don’t think there has been one time before that we have visited this place when the staff has not made you feel just like home and made me laugh out loud.

Very good service and the food was served within a reasonable amount of time. But my order was not so good. I ordered the BLTWITHAVOCADO and while I was hungry and ate it all, it was really a disappointment. The sandwich ‘innards’ we’re one leaf of wilted lettuce topped by a fair portion of tasty bacon topped with a flavorless tomato slice topped with a mini piece of an under-ripe avocado which was also flavorless. I was so thoroughly not impressed that I won’t go back anytime soon. Afterthought: the fresh fried chips were great and the only redeeming food on the plate.

The food was respectable quality. The portions were ridiculously large — America gets fat here! Loud music and atmosphere add to the roadhouse atmosphere. Go if you want boisterousness, giant portions, and decent food. Don’t go if you want high quality dining or many options beyond BBQ.

Tonight was my second visit to Cody’s. On both occasions it was average at best. Tonight our server, Dave, seemed more interested in the tv, rather than serving his section. My Patron margarita was almost all mixer, and came out half cold, and half room temp, meaning the bartender didn’t even attempt to mix it. Then as far as food goes, my boyfriend ordered the half chicken which was dry. I ordered the filet with fried shrimp. I ordered the steak mid rare, and it came out raw. The shrimp came out dark brown and so over cooked I could hardly chew them. And my filet was wrapped in bacon for no reason. I’m not a huge bacon fan, and I didn’t order it that way. I had the plate sent back, and it was fixed. I just can’t understand how it was sent out in the first place when it it was so clearly wrong. Not sure if I’ll return or not. So far I’m unimpressed

Steak ordered med rare, came well done… Ordered it again and the manager brought the next one back with an apology… this time it was seared and raw… he apologized again and I asked him to cook it again and put it in a box(for the dogs no way I’m gonna eat it after sending it back twice). Server and manager were both nice, hostess could have cared less when seating the group… but honestly, the chef should be able to cook a steak less than a half inch thick. Just visiting my 90 year old grand father… I won’t be back…

Such as shame because it’s a fun atmosphere and great setting. Salad fab — but that’s it. Chef forgot about the crab legs at some point this afternoon. They were so over cooked that it truly was a fight too eat them. And so not worth it in the end. Service was polite but almost non existent — for us anyway. We ended up asking other servers for help more often than not. Spoke to manager in the end because apparently our meals were meant to come with a dessert as well — which we were never offered. The manager didnt seem bothered at all about our experience — or the loss of any future business apparently. Sad really.

This was the worst meal we have had in years. I don’t know how this place is so busy and popular. Even the kids food was awful. Ordered a salad and soup even to keep it safe and they both were bad. The others ordered steak and ate half and didn’t take it home. Never again!

By far the worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Our waitress never even brought us silverware(someone else finally did after asking around) or bothered to refill or drinks. She never checked in and ultimately made it one of the worst dinning experiences I’ve encountered. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I’ve had food poisoning as well as everyone else in my party for the past 3 days due to this restaurant. Whatever you do, don’t come here.

Lunch with parents. Had chicken fried chicken. Issue here was that I had food on plate still big mashed potatoes on plate. Server took it away and was not finished. Had to say something manager offered new one but at this point don’t need a take out when will not be wanting it. Some bland food today as Mother had to return onion soup that was watery. 2 stars might be generous. Salad was decent

I can’t complain, despite several missteps by the bar staff. Secret here is for a quick and much less expensive meal use the bar menu. ¼#burgers(no variations) are hand formed patties, nice bun $ 2.58. Sweet potato fries came out cold. I hear the house salads are a deal and are refillable sometime the same day! Milkshakes are $ 2.98 but watery… I’ll come back for the burgers and try the salad.
