Very rude told us to wait 10 minutes and then couple a came in behind us and another person took them to a seat when we asked the hostess she said the other gentleman didn’t know it must have made a mistake.

Excellent sushi. Had take-​out. The lunch take-​out sushi also includes soup and salad. Spoons, forks, and chopsticks were also included. You can taste the freshness. If you like sushi I recommend trying here.

I’m quite surprised by a couple of the low reviews. Those incidents have got to be very rare events. We and many of our neighbors eat often at VKI since moving to the area over nine years ago. Never have we encountered unfriendly staff, bad service or bad food. We generally eat at a regular table but have also done the hibachi on a few occasions. The hibachi is always fun and entertaining. The sushi is always fresh and tasty. The red snapper teriyaki is outstanding. They have something on the menu for most everyone.

After a very rude start, we left before even ordering. We came here for our Anniversary in a great mood and were greeted by a friendly hostess who was going to seat us at a teppanyaki table where people were already seated but realized they had ordered so sat us at another empty one.
We sat for about 10 minutes with no greeting, water, etc before the manager came over and stated firmly «why are you at THIS table? You should be over there (at the table we were first led to… like we had seated ourselves or something…). He didn’t even offer to take our menus, etc. We went to the other table but the folks were already eating appetizers so we left and will definitely NOT be back. Luckily we found Sakura a few miles away where they were friendly and the food was good.

This is the best Japanese Steak House you will find. Our family has always been a Benihana fan, but now we bring all our friends and family to eat here. There is something for everyone, from vegetarian to sushi, it is grand!
