I came here for my lunch break and had the super blt. It was really good! My only complaint would be that they apparently don’t validate parking anymore. We came here once before a few months ago and got parking validation. This time, we were told that they don’t validate parking. So be prepared to pay $ 3 or so if you choose to sit and eat here for your lunch break.

Not only does this place take forever but I waisted money on a side«salad» which was rotted lettuce with ¼ of a green tomato and 3 slices of cucumber…

I’m a pretty regular customer here since my office is right next door, but unfortunately today I almost swallowed a 2″ twist tie(plastic/metal) when taking bite of my sandwich. Ugh. The people up front were nice, apologetic, asked if I wanted any replacement meals, and were quick to refund me when I asked, but I can’t trust a kitchen that almost caused me to choke on metal… Looks like I’ll be looking for a new lunch spot now, which kind of sucks because I used their salad bar like 2 – 3 times a week. YMMV

Frankly these people suck ass. And need to buy a toaster. They toast everything in a mini oven. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve been served rock hard toast or a soggy breakfast sandwhich(there’s never a good medium). Yes I’ve complained. Yes I’ve returned these items and got a refund. Lunch is good, but don’t order breakfast EVER! And there is one particular girl that works that cant ever smile. She’s a good worker but clearly miserable.

Great food and varied menu. Free WiFi. Reasonable prices. They just can’t keep up with the lunch volume. The line is ultra long now and the wait is horrible. About 20 minutes today.

Major remodel is complete and wow !! Fresh food, great portion sizes and decent price. I will probably go to Eddy M’s more often now that there have been some great improvements.

Close to the office and you can order and pay online. Hot reuben is my favorite. Can be crowded at lunch. Overall our cup of tea.

I work nearby and having been a loyal customer for 5 years. This place has food for the health nut as well as people who want to pig out. Great variety of food. The daily specials are really good also. I recommend ordering with their app or online to skip the lines. I personally recommend their chicken kabob plate. Very tasty

This place is ok. People eat here because it’s convenient and that’s probably the only reason. Food is a hit or miss. Today really irritated me… I phoned an order in and when I got there I saw my small little salad sitting there. There were also 8 people waiting in line to order. I walked up and asked if there was separate pay for phoned orders. They told my I had to wait in line behind all 8 people while they ordered. Ummmm no thanks! Throw your damn salad away because no way I’m coming back and wasting my work time for a tiny salad. That’s the reason I phoned in. Never coming back. Fyi also never order the hash brows. It’s a deep fried crunch oil thing. I can’t believe they serve that to people.

Hate to do this, but we order breakfast burritos from Eddy M’s Café all the time. We would get 5 or more people to order so we can get it delivered. Today our burritos came with no salsa, I love my breakfast burrito with salsa. Called to see if we can get our salsa but it’s been an hour and no results. Thanks for the previous good service but I am not returning.

Quick, convenient, affordable and tasty place to grab a bite for those who work in the La Jolla Commons areas. Plenty to choose from in the menu — salads, sandwiches, Mediterranean plates, and soups. They’re recently added more healthy options and included gluten-free items on the menu. It’s an added bonus that the restaurant itself looks very clean and modern. I’m sure I’ll be visiting again soon for eating-from-desk lunches.

So close by where I work and so far the food hasn’t disappoint! Order online and pick it up so you don’t have to wait as long. Get their healthy bowls and sweet potato fries. I’ll be trying their breakfast soon!!! Goodbye specialtys!

The best hambugers, fries, breakfast sandwiches and more. The service is fast, very friendly. The cook, outstanding! Prices, you can’t beat them. I’m always on the run so Eddy M’s suits me fine. Order there or call ahead. Love it… Jerry

Tasty, affordable, on-time and extremely friendly experience having a catering order delivered to the office earlier this month. I ordered a platter of sandwiches, and they were cut into well-sized halves with each individually wrapped. The price point($ 7.50 per sandwich) includes fresh baked cookies and potato chips(the Hawaiian kettle kind). I was told Eddy M’s really wants to keep their costs low, and that’s definitely affordable! Josh, who delivered the order(and shares the profits with the business owner), was extremely friendly. As he was walking with me to the conference room he described in lots of details their best sellers and recommendations. Their kebobs are the most popular for hot food. For larger crowds, you can also order a baked potato bar($ 5.99 per person, and the potatoes weigh in at a pound a piece) or their popular healthy bowls bar($ 8.99 per person), the latter which is not on their menu but you can call them to ask about them and order. The Eddy M’s Web site definitely needs some work. I placed my order online and noticed there was no way to specify what kind of sandwiches I wanted in my assorted platter or make any special requests. I needed to have 1⁄3 of the platter be vegetarian, so I had to call them. Not too much of a hassle, but when you’re taking care of a million things in an office you don’t want to have to make an extra call. Josh told me that the site is currently being fixed and was generally quite interested in customer feedback to improve their operations. There is a 17.5 percent gratuity added on to every order, and this money is shared all the workers including the driver, according to Josh. So no need to add an extra tip to the driver, even though the Web site will ask you if you want to!

One super nice lady at the register and one rattled somewhat angry. Stick with a sandwhich when you order. You’ve been warned. Got a burger on a stale bun that smelled funny Fry’s were good though. I got the pretty and kind lady that took my order instead of the angry confused one. So giving 3 stars instead of 1. Chinese food is bad. Daily special is sometimes OK sometimes not so good. Super convenient location if you work close. Nice chairs. Sometimes the tables are sticky.

Normally this place is good to run down for a quick grab n go lunch. However; I warn you do not get anything with Samon-unless mine was a one off situation. It’s pre-very-cooked and grey. Can’t remember the last time(never) I have had non pink salmon. Guess ill be driving across the street to Specialty’s from now on.

05/27/2014 — UPDATE! Received an email responce from the owner, which i appreciate a lot. Yes the phone app helps quiet a bit in order to save some time during lunch hours. Salads are delish! It gets busy during lunch hours. They have a pretty good menu: many choices and variety but overall Meehhh nothing crazy about their food. Your Average cafeteria.

We order here for lunch occasionally and the food is pretty good and filling. I usually get the chicken Cesar wrap, but their hot paninis are good as well. Best of all they have a Eva Longoria look alike that just delivered my lunch. Best day ever!!!

STILLHATETHISPLACE! This place just doesn’t disappoint if you are looking to be disappointed again and again and again. Unfortunately, the building I work in took out our cafeteria due to remodeling and so now we only have a temporary, over-priced bistro with just so-so food. Not having any food to bring today and not wanting to suck it up at the bistro I decided to order Eddy M’s after all this time of boycotting them. And I have ordered from them a couple times this year with no problems surprisingly. Though I’ve heard from other people that they still have problems with Eddy M’s messing up their orders. After placing an order for breakfast AND lunch AND coffee I’m told the minimum is $ 20 for delivery.(my order came to about $ 13 before tax and tip) It USED to be $ 10. And Eddy’s is just down the street! I’d go pick up food but I only get a 30 min lunch, which is hardly worth the trouble. Seriously, if delivery is such a hardship for Eddy’s they just shouldn’t offer it at all. They are one of the only places that delivers besides pizza places(ick) and their customer service is the worst! The small bistro we have may have mediocre food and be overpriced but at least they are extremely courteous and customer service oriented.

Eddy M is a nice little place situated within a building complex called La Jolla commons. I know they deliver since they have done this several times to my work place. It’s a café so it offers breakfast as well as lunch and possibly late afternoon meals. I don’t remember their late hours. My review is entirely on my experience eating and purchasing their sandwiches, etc for lunch when I happen to do the banking next door at US Bank. I always found their staff friendly and efficient. The dining area is clean and presentable. Food wise, I have ordered several different sandwiches and they range from good, better and ok. I do have to say that pricing is a bit steep for a sandwich without anything included. Maybe in this economy, I hope for more for my dollars. I have had their albondigas soup, good but the portion was a little bit small for 4 bucks. Overall, if you are in the area and you need a nosh away from the UTC or strip malls that can be busy, you can come here. They do have a parking garage but I am not sure how much to purchase at the place for them to validate. Please ask them.
