i have been going to Michel for a while now and without a doubt he is truly an artist with the scissors and brush. If you are looking to be treated like a movie star and get an incredible hair cut, Michel and Bella Salon cannot be beat!!!

Michel Benaroch has been cutting my hair & giving me highlights for at least 10 years. He has fantastic skills & always knows exactly what to do to my hair to make me feel fabulous. My only caveat is to schedule your appointments early because he is busy & books up fast.
Michel is a great guy and I highly recommend him!

I have been going to Ellie Yates at Bella Salon for over 7 years. She is truly talented at both coloring and cutting my hair (which is a hard combo to find). I have followed Ellie Yates throughout career (since high school) because she is amazing at what she does. They way she blends my color makes my hair look natural and healthy. She also is one of the only hair dresser that has ever been able to cut a style my extremely straight and fine hair. Her cut is so great that I often don’t have to style it. Yes, I drive all the way to La Jolla (from Los Angeles) to go to her. She is worth every mile.

I have only gone to Michel for a few haircuts and color. My previous cut was pretty choppy and he did a good job of fixing it so that it could begin to grow it out into the style I wanted. Michel took time to listen to me and understand the style I was trying to achieve.

I typically visit the Del Mar location. But, Ian (my stylist) works at both. He is at this locations on Tuesdays only. He is a great/​honest hair stylist. I appreciate that I can have open candor with him regarding what actually looks good on me. Plus, the laid back environment is not intimidating like most typical salons. You can go in with your roots grown out, style from yesterday and Ian will smile and offer you a cup of coffee, tea… They are naturally nice, artistic (with style/​class) without doing a lot of damage to your pocket book. I was referred to this salon by a friend and it has been a great recommendation!
