Hands down the best Japanese place I’ve ever eaten. It’s a shame I live in the IE and this place is all the way in la habra. Super nice service and amazingggg food. I got a spicy chicken bowl and it’s straight fireeee!!!

Really enjoyed the food. Had the Gyoza appetizer, Chicken Katsu and Seafood Stirfry. All were very good. The Chicken Katsu is very crispy. Place is clean, service was quick and the young man who took our order was polite and helpful. Will definitely return.

I’ve tried Teriyaki bowls(a fave of mine) in so many So. Cal restaurants. Finally I found a place that does teriyaki right! I got the spicy chicken, my wife the regular chicken teriyaki and we were both well-pleased! The menu goes way beyond teriyaki, but I was seeking teriyaki. We will return!

Considering there aren’t too many places in this area that serves some delicious ramen, this place totally makes up for the cravings. They make delicious ramen which is hardy with several toppings that makes for a satisfying meal. The other dishes are just as delicious!

Terrible portions !!! I ordered a plate for pick up and received this. I called to find out what happened and why I had gotten a bowl and the lady said she made a mistake and put a bowl instead of a plate. Then she proceeded to tell me that if I wanted a plate I’d have to come pay for it, even though it was her mistake. Terrible customer service, terrible portions, will NOT be back. Do NOT recommend to anybody.

We drove past this place a thousand times without once being inquisitive about the place/cuisine. Since we are trying out new places these days, we decided to stop and check the place out. We ordered Galbi bowl. Coconut smoothie with Boba Chicken Bento Box Total with tax came to $ 22.22 Pros: I liked the Bento box. Good value as well as taste.(+1) Employee was very affectionate. She had a smile on her face and apologized to us when some Asian lady cut us off to order while we were next in line to order.(+1) Ample space inside. Lots of variety in menu. Cons: None.

I come here for lunch every now and then because I work close by and its easy to get to. Sometimes I call ahead to pick up my food and its usually ready in about 15 minutes. The owner is super sweet and he makes all of his teriyaki and sauces in house. My favorite is the Teriyaki chicken bowl with extra veggies… I’m not a big fan of any of the noodle dishes, but if its a cold day its nice to get the chicken ramen dish. Everything is made to order and fresh, so if you are looking to get a quick meal, it might not be the best.

Super disappointed. This place took over roheys grill, a previous occupant and an excellent teriyaki /sushi joint. So why one star? I ordered fish katsu plate and salmon bowl, that’s about a $ 15 order, for which I received a combined amount of maybe 2 ounces of protein. Fish is pricey protein yes, but these were outrageously misproportioned plates of food with neither character or flavor worth paying money for. This is a bad sign, I’d avoid this place at all cost. If in the mood for hybrid teriyaki grub I recommend California sushi and teriyaki on harbor and Whittier. Atleast the portions are generous there. Fyi this joint also has no sushi on menu nor a bathroom on site. What a shame, and a waste of money. 1 stinky star for me.

Ordered Teriyaki Beef + Chicken Katsu Bowl $ 6.99 and Chicken Yakisoba $ 7.99, no onion and no green onion. Tax was 8.5%, didn’t know La Habra had a different sales tax than the rest of OC before. I ordered on the phone about 1012 minutes prior to arrival and was told it would be ready in 15 min. I got my meal about 1min after paying the bill, so perfect estimate! Decent price, large portion and the flavors were all great, usually I would find teriyaki stuff too saucy, but these two were both with just the right amount of flavoring. I only needed to used the extra teriyaki sauce on the steamed veggies in the bowl and the rice that comes with yakisoba. There were two cons though. Katsu was way overcooked, and the meat part very thin, it was definitely more carbs than proteins. Cabbage in the yakisoba were in big chunks and very crunchy, not a good combination. I really don’t like keep biting into those big chunks of veggie when I’m trying to devour my noodles. It finally got to point where I decided to pick out the cabbages first so I could really enjoy the yakisoba, which was pretty good by the way. Next time I would probably order the yakisoba without cabbage. AND just avoid the katsu and probably anything deep fried.

There are many teriyaki places in the area, but none of them offer a tofu teriyaki bowl! Why?! I had yet to find a good teriyaki place in LH. I was very happy to see that Teriyaki King offers not only a tofu bowl, but few tofu items on their menu. Of course, I ordered the Tofu Teriyaki Bowl and I really, really enjoyed it! I like the way they cooked the tofu as it was soft not deep fried like other places like to cook it. I am looking forward to coming by again and trying other items. I was also pleased with the service as a man that might have been working in the kitchen came by to see how we liked the food and I thought that was really nice. A+.

One of the better teri pollo bowls around. I like this place and the owners prior to this one. They serve korean/japanese type o rice opposed to the grainy kind which isnt my preference. The chicken isnt too marinated which is a great change. I dislike teri pollo spots that rely on too much sauce. Bowls are a bit larger than what they appear yet its still kinda small. Also carries various sushi and soba. All u can drink sodieees woo hoooo

Haha! This place is awesome! Great vibe, and good music. The people who work here look happy. Foods fantastic. I got a tofu bowl. It’s hard to find Vegan options on the run. I can get used to this. THEBOMB.COM …love that they keep it real here.

Busted. I’m sitting eating my fried rice typing in what was going to be a 2 star review on Unilocal when the owner comes circulating around asking how the food was. That’s a good sign. I still find Japanese Korean kind of a mystery. Food was good not great. Prices fair. Ambiance so so. Service good. One of the few teriyaki places on the area.

Under new management and new menu. Like this place much more. Miss the taco place from years ago. But the food is good now. Inside looks reminiscent of the previous businesses. Clean enough and descent service. You order at counter and they bring to table. Menu is limited with some good options. Try the sizzling rice.

I loveeeee their salad especially chicken and tofu salad. Their salad is not greasy at all and it looks fresh all the time. This is my second week that i have been coming to this place and their food is consistently good all the time. Ps. Their salad dressing is super good and gives you soft aftertaste.

Brand new chicken bowl spot in the la habra circle that’s worth stopping by. Definitely enjoyed the spicy chicken bowl and t h e variety of sauces they have available to put on your food. They appear to be a Asian Mexican fusion, because there are some Mexican dishes available as well as your typical teriyaki bowls. Very friendly service as well. Definitely will be back !

Was driving by and saw this place that just opened up. Thought we’d give it a try and its actually great. I had the spicy chicken bowl and Sam had the regular chicken bowl. Lots of food for the money. Had plenty of items on the menu too. And very clean. Give them a try! Will be going here more often.
