Excellent! Had the best waitress(even went back a second time and asked for her) who recommended some seriously delicious items. Ended up having the southern pecan coffee, fresh squeezed kale juice, frittata, and Benedict between my two visits and everything was superb! Can’t wait to spend another morning with the girls at this place!

Great food and service. We had the 2 egg breakfast and the Texas skillet. Both were delicious. Love that they put a carafe of the beverage ordered on the table so your glass never gets empty, Definitely will return to try other menu items.

The food is excellent and the staff are very nice and knowledgeable. If you go on a weekend be prepared to wait a bit, usually 10 to 15 minutes. The Parisian eggs Benedict is my go to, but the waffles are also amazing.

Met with family for Easter breakfast and had a wonderful time. Very clean. Excellent service. Food was delicious too. I always choose something different at each visit and I have yet to be disappointed, regardless of the location I choose.

Woof… I was really hoping I would like this place but it was a big let down! The corned beef and hash was a soggy mess. The eggs came out very over cooked and were equally bad. I will definitely not being a returning customer.

This is my favorite breakfast spot! I have ate there a lot and have never had a bad meal. The service is always good too. If you don’t eat here you are truly missing out!

I was very disappointed — moderately expensive, food wasn’t hot. Most importantly it simply wasn’t good food. The eggs Benedict were soggy, the potatoes spiced wrong, mushy. The list goes on. Just not a good restaurant. I have to wonder how long they’ll be there.

Love the service and the food is very good. The GM runs the place very well and all of the servers are top notch! Ask for Kim… she is phenomenal!

Service was alright, pretty slow especially if you’re in a hurry but that may have been a staffing issue. The food however was spot on. I had the Hiker’s Benedict which was great; the eggs were cooked perfectly with a generous portion.

Delicious food, and our server Ben was the best! Food was just as ordered, timely, and a pot of coffee for the table. This was my second visit in 3 months and was just as good the last time – both in food and service.

First off, I was unable to eat the food because I didn’t even get sat. This review purely reflects on the waiting time and lack of service from the hostesses. My bf and I came on a Sunday and expected a long wait. What we didn’t expect was to wait over double our quoted waiting time. When we checked in, we were told a 15 – 20 mins wait time. I went up to check our place in line at the 20 mins mark. The hostess said we had four in front of us. 30 minutes rolls on and we still aren’t called. We waited at least an hour. I snapped and decided to leave after I saw 7 other parties seated after I walked up and asked how many were in front of us. We went to another local restaurant and were seated immediately. We expect to wait on a Sunday, but I don’t expect to be lied to. As someone whose worked as a hostess, I know that it’s better to quote your real wait time: rather than lie to make the customer happy. Hope the food is good.

Bacon. Absolutely the best I have eaten in all of Knoxville, and I have lived here over 50 years. Thick sliced, and every single piece cooked to perfection. Not the usual rubbery,(impossible to swallow), or crispy(aka cremated slab of bitter cinder), typically found at most other restaurants. The bacon alone makes this place worth visiting. As for everything else, also top shelf. Very appetizing, and delicious. We enjoyed the meal and will definitely return.

Love it all. The food is always perfect. The staff helpful and not annoying like some restaurants and fast. What more could you want. Oh yeh the menu is unique

We enjoy going here every so often. The food is always pretty good and the service is spot on. But every time there is always one thing that goes wrong. The side is wrong or the eggs are done wrong. Just the little things that bug you at brunch. I always like anything they make as a benedict.

I definitely should have read the other Unilocal reviews before going to this place, but I’m sure I would have at least gone in this place once. Well that«once» was today. On the inside it makes you feel like you are at the beach grabbing a quick breakfast. But this place is anything but quick. As my friend and I waited for our food, both had to be done within an hour and a half, it took 45 minutes for our food to come out. Dang! At that moment we thought… Shoulda gone to Waffle House, funny enough we still were thinking positive. I ordered the Colorado Scrambler. Gross, liquid eggs, seriously!?! I can’t believe people still use those. My eggs looked like ricotta cheese when I went to take a bite. They were lacking on ingredients and definitely seasoning! They should have covered it in cheese, maybe even mixed some into the scrambler then I may not have seen the ricotta look. Eww, it makes my stomach hurt thinking about it. The best part of my meal was the bacon, and English muffin. My friend ordered the Huevos Rancheros. I won’t even tell you what my first thought was when I saw it … Use your imagination. My friend after her first bite looked up at me and said, ‘oh my Mary, this is bad.” I thought O holy hell I haven’t even taken a bite of mine yet. Our server was nice, but obviously lacked in training as I asked her a few different questions and she had no idea what the answer was. Question #1 — Does your orange juice have pulp? Answer — I’m not sure, would you like me to bring you some and you can find out? Question #2 — I thought I ordered the large fruit bowl? Answer — No there’s only one size I think.(No there are 2 sizes, look at the menu). I had other questions I’m just not going to be rude because she was actually friendly. My solution — train your employees so they have answers and at least know some things, like the menu. If this tells you anything, it would definitely be to go somewhere else. Other nearby options are: Gourmets Market, Colonel’s Deli, Plaid Apron, or Waffle House, just to name a few. Seriously save your money because this place isn’t cheap. I spent $ 20 and left unhappy and still hungry because I couldn’t look at those fake eggs anymore. I hope this review helps, and doesn’t lead you here, as I won’t be back again. Cheers & Enjoy!

Looking for a Good Breakfast place in Knoxville, TN? Look no further. This could your spot. A little pricey but it is a real sit down breakfast place. The pancakes are wheat, not my favorite style but they are good. Sorry the one picture of strawberry, banana waffle … I ate the egss and bacon before taking the picture. Be sure to ask for your bacon crispy if you like it that way.

Took youngest egg from my ovaries to the Egg and I while he was home on spring break… great Wisconsin Scramble and Chicken Apple Sausage Scramble(pictured). Love having pot of coffee on the table. Large portions – but since the Chicken Apple Sausage Scramble was on the light menu – we treated ourselves to a Belgian waffle(split it). Warm syrup is always good! Would appreciate being able to have a bloody or mimosa with brunch – because isn’t that what you do when dining with your offspring?

Like other Unilocalers, I’ve heard mixed reviews on this place, so I decided to give it a go. In short, it didn’t do it for me. I got one of the scrambler griddle egg platters, and it was ‘meh’ at best. The service was okay; nothing spectacular. It’s a mediocre breakfast so I didn’t expect the waitstaff to exude much passion. Bleh. It was food, it was edible, and I left with a full belly. But, part of me was ashamed of myself. If you walk outside and do a 180 degree scan, I guarantee you’ll see a few other breakfast spots that are exponentially better. Do yourself a solid.

Very good service! Bacon couldn’t have been cooked better. The raspberry pancake meal was a huge portion and very tasty. The French toast was also very good. We ordered a side of toast that came out a little too burnt but they quickly fixed the problem and brought out a new order! Great place to stop on our road trip!!!

I loved this place! My wife and I had the hardest time deciding what to eat, because it all looked so good. They were very sweet and accommodating to my baby as well. Can’t wait to take my parents here!

I thought this was very good. We came on a Sunday at 10:45 and there was no wait to be seated. Food was very good and flavorful(although I will admit my plate was a little cold). For breakfast this is a little bit spendy BUT I’m able to make this into two meals so in the long run I get two days of happy eats and it costs less than eating out twice. I love having the carafe of coffee on the table for warm ups… Reminds me of breakfasts spent with grandma and grandpa when I was little.

This place came highly recommended by a friend as a great place for breakfast. There were long waits and then the service was really slow. Our waitress walked by our table quite a few times and never stopped to check on us. I was a bit disappointed. The food, however, was pretty decent.

I’ve heard mixed reviews of this place and decided to try it myself. Not impressed with the food however everything was very edible. I ordered the breakfast burrito and to my surprise… the burrito was smothered in sauce. Their pork chili salsa was mediocre. I don’t understand the hype. You are better off with adding their house made salsa or hot sauce. A good thing about this place is that their hot sauce is really good. The potatoes that were inside my burrito were soggy and not crispy, therefore the entire burrito tasted soggy. Not a fan. Service overall was very friendly and good. Coffee is decent.

I was very pleased with my food and with the service. I had the Cambridge skillet with my eggs prepared over medium. The hollandaise sauce was very good. I’m not a fan of English muffins so I got wheat bread toast. The portion sizes of all of our meals was great and we all left full and with big smiles on our faces!

Have to update my last review. Ordered the exact same dishvand it was not even close to looking the same as last time. This is a new place so consistency can understandably be an issue. But come on guys. Dont skimp on the green chile sauce! Ill give it one more chance. But not impressed this time.

Went for Father’s Day. Made reservations for party of 5 the day prior. When we showed for our reservation it was«not in the system». We were treated as if the mistake was somehow our fault and never received so much as an apology. Food was decent but overpriced. Service was below average.

Pay attention to Unilocal reviews and don’t waste your time and money. I went here because a friend really wanted to go. Even though I told her it had questionable reviews. The hype is true. We waited an hour for breakfast for 4. Two of us had waffles and eggs. One person had pancakes and the last person had the eggs Benedict. All relatively quick and easy dishes to prepare. Even if they had to wait for the chickens to lay the eggs that morning. It shouldn’t have a taken as long as it did. The food was just okay. It really isn’t any different than your typical IHOP and Waffle House fare. Our waitress brought out the food and immediately apologized for the burnt raspberry pancakes and overdone eggs. You could tell she was really frustrated by the kitchen. Go down the street to Gourmet Market. Even better, go eat at Bistro at the Bijou.
