I had the ‘day after thanksgiving’ sandwich. Excellent service and food! Café was extremely clean as well. I continue to visit this restaurant at least once a week. I continue to be impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the flavor of the food. Highly recommend the DAT and the apple butter pork-chop sandwich. Also, if you have the blessed opportunity to have one of J’s traditional Philly’s you will not be disappointed!

Not what I ecpected. We were the only ones there at lunch time. Not a great omen. Small eating area. Felt like a wanna be sports bar but had no sport bar ambiance. Did have a large TV. We ordered the thanksgiving sandwich. Did not expect regular Multigrain bread. Turkey was ok but the sandwich fell apart in my hands and I left most on my plate. And I wonder how fresh the turkey could be if they didn’t have much business. Perhaps we missed the rush but I doubt it.

This is a new café and I highly recommend trying it! Right now, they are serving breakfast and lunch with an ever changing menu, and it looks promising. I think it will be one of our favorite ‘go-to’ eateries. My husband and I both had the spaghetti with a meatball and it was really good! It had a nice, rich, tomato sauce with a large, tasty meatball. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the whole entrée was sprinkled with parmesan cheese. The menu has some very delicious selections including sliders with grilled onions and pot roast. Remarkably, one of the sides is polenta which I am looking forward to trying! Whether you are an adventuresome gourmand or a no frills standard fare lover, this café should satisfy.
