Terrible customer service. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. Not helpful and just plain rude. Very disappointed.

This is one of the best middle eastern food in knoxville. A hidden gem! We tried three 4 dishes, all taste so amazing and yet so different, nothing felt repetitive. Chicken shwarma and egg-plant sandwich was out of this world. Must try. I read their pita bread is made from scratch and it was soft and delicious. This is family run business and restaurant ambience is 3 stars. But I guess this place is more of to go, because we saw so many orders coming by phone. Must visit for foodies.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and tested the tabouleh, baba ganoush, hummus, grape leaves, stuffed cabbage, and baklava. The food is delicious and the restaurant is ran by an incredibly sweet family. I found the place by searching for vegan options on Unilocal,I don’t think I would have found the place otherwise. It’s across the street from Zoe’s Kitchen and near Soccer Taco in this small plaza. It’s right on Kingston pike and there’s plenty of parking but you have to know to look for it. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

When you first go in you are not really attracted by the atmosphere of the place. It is a basic small dine in restaurant. But when the owner comes and greets you, its so nice. So as we sat down and ordered, he was very open to suggesting different options. He and his wife make all the food. We had ordered cabbage leaves and I thought they were better than grape leaves. I am not the biggest fan of grape leaves. I got the beef shawarma sandwich and it was great. The quality of the meat was great. They had mousaka and I will definitely be trying that the next time I go. The food gives me a homey feel like a middle eastern grandmother cooked it. This is what attracted me to this place. And for the Muslims out there it is zabiha!

Excellent food and customer service. We had the shawarma, lamb with prunes, and a steak in a sack. Food tasted fresh and flavorful. With all of the restaurants in knoxville this place offers many unique menu items that originate from Northern Africa. I like the ambiance, good for many occasions. Not a massive eating area but not cramped either. Will definitely be going back to try more items. Great addition to the knoxville food community.
