For an upscale dinner with the Mrs., we really like this place. It is bit on the expensive side but that is because we get drinks, appetizers, meal and dessert. Service is excellent. The food is great no matter what you order. Gotta get the Bang Bang Shrimp. I like that they don’t rush you in the least, even when crowded. We have gotten the crab cake appetizers and then a crab cake dinner because the crab cakes are so good. More crab than cake, imagine that! This is a great«date» restaurant.

The Bonefish Grill remains a dependable spot for Mrs. Reviewer and I. We visited again today after a morning of Christmas shopping. We enjoyed our regular crab cake appetizers which to us are some of the best crab cakes this side of Maryland and the remoulade is amazing. Today Mrs. Reviewer had the Filet and I enjoyed a tuna steak. Both were prepared and presented to perfection. The seasonal vegetable was sautéed spinach and we both enjoyed that also. The only disappointment we had was the garlic whipped potatoes. Normally these are outstanding but today they seemed like instant mashed potatoes with some garlic shaken over them. Other than that though the meal was excellent.

Best bar food dinner — $ 3.50 house wine till 6:30(order one for later) and grilled shrimp and scallops with Asian sauce and broccoli and spinach. Yum! Bread is warm and great with pesto, but would skip it next time to keep the carbs down, or at least to save them from the wine. Never been disappointed at Bonefish.

Pretty disappointed, the fish I got has no flavor even a bit bitter with the burn crust. Honestly it’s no better than the hot food bar in a grocery store, the veggies was over cooked. Service was a bit slow, this place is over rated in my opinion.

Management needs to think about the music playing. This is a classy place, but the music isn’t. Not everyone likes loud rocking music. Tonight’s meal wasn’t what I would ever have expected after coming here for years. The cut of fish brought to the table was totally unacceptable for $ 25. Management should be embarrassed for sending it out to any customer. The fish was sent back & replaced with Thai Shrimp, which was only fair since it was over cooked, a deep brown color & chewy. Another order of Thai shrimp we had was light brown & very good. After the fish fiasco, I didn’t ask for the shrimp to be replaced. Bonefish has always had very good food, but this meal was a disappointment. On the other hand, the waiter was very good.

Yumm. I live so close to this place, idk why I’ve never gone. For a chain, I’m impressed! The seasonal watermelon martini was good and refreshing, although not very strong. We started with the mussels josephine and they were soooo good, probably the best part of the meal. Our server, Jeff, who I highly recommend(which I never really do) was awesome. He brought out the super soft bread and oil with the mussels so we could soak up the reduction. The rest of the meal was pretty good. We had grouper with lobster thermidor and shrimp and scallops but I am soo stuck on those mussels, lol. As others have said, the music is kinda loud for the setting. But I’d definitely overlook that for the food.

Good drinks, clean restaurant — solid as always expected from Bonefish Grill. It’s just hard to get into 5-star territory with any chain restaurant, but they’re certainly more delicious than most.

I have mixed feelings about Bonefish. The first time I went there it was magical, the second not so much. For a Saturday night the atmosphere was a little quiet and well. old. You expect a certain atmosphere when going out for a nice dinner but it felt like patrons should be/were whispering. Our server was super nice and attentive, absolutely fabulous service. As for the food — The bang bang shrimp is amazing, there is absolutely no arguing that. I would go there just for that and I am interested in trying the bang bang shrimp tacos. The bread and pesto is addictive, the bread is crispy but extremely soft in the middle. I usually get a steak when I go… Mine was cooked medium but it just didn’t have a lot of flavor. The mashed potatoes were extremely decadent and buttery. The part of the plate that I just did not understand was the«seasonal vegetable». It was grilled squash and zucchini with the tiniest amount of what I assume is some sort of cheese. They were just watery and flavorless so why even put them on the plate? I would have been fine with one side. As for going out for a nice seafood dinner in Knoxville, I would say Bonefish would be a fine choice. I would definitely like to try brunch sometime!

Love Bonefish! It’s one of the few chain restaurants I really and truly can get into. I have reviewed the Turkey Creek location already. The Bearden location is just as wonderful. First, if you haven’t had brunch at Bonefish you’re missing out. They don’t have outdoor seating so on a rainy day like this, it’s a great option for brunching. Their signature brunch feature is «Bottomless Bubbles» brunch. Essentially, you pay $ 20 and get your choice of brunch entrée with«endless» bubbles.(mimosa, peach bellini, passionfruit mimosa, or blackberry sangria). The entrée choices you can pick from are generous as well — several types of benedicts, including vegetarian and seafood only options, plus omelets and french toast. The brunch sides are both very good — gratin potatoes and seared asparagus. Do yourself a favor and have a lazy early afternoon brunch date at Bonefish!

Ate there last week. Waitress was not nice and unfriendly because I order water with lemon first. I don’t drink soft drinks or alcohol. So, she prejudged me. I ordered the house salad. Very good. Portion a little small for price point. She never offered me bread, which is standard. I ordered tea with lemon. The tea was delivered with no spoon and no lemon. It took ten minutes to get the lemon. I ordered the grilled salmon, very good. The veggie string beans. Only 10 beans on the plate. I thought it was a joke. Stems left of the beans. Yuk. Horrible service. Food portions was to small for the price.

Sometimes you feel blown away by your dish, and you are like«woah I’ll be back forsure!» This experience was none of that. It was mediocre at best. Too pricy for the quality.

I also gave this establishment a 4 star as well. Mine was also for the music as it is not the right music for this establishment at all. Secondly, the waiter did not have ackowledgement that I could order the one lobster tail, instead he insisted that I could only get the two. I then got a manager as I always order just the one tail so I can order dessert and not feel miserable afterwards. I was correct, the manager apologised after telling me the waiter learned something new tonight. Not very professional. The manager did comp my meal, which I did not want but she insisted… which was nice. It still remains a 4 star. Would come back.

The place really deserves five stars. But I got me one gripe. So, throwin down the fourster. When you find out why, you’ll wanna kick me in the shin. First, this is the only Bonefish Grill I’ve ever patronized. We have eaten here numerous times. The quality of food and service never disappoints. The restaurant is always very clean. The servers are always very professional and very knowledgeable about the food and wine. As for the food, one of my favorites is the steak prepared Pittsburgh Style. It’s not very often you can find a cook who can pull off a good Pittsburgh steak. They always do it right at Bonefish. Love me some Bang Bang chicken. Pretty much everything on the menu is a thumbs up. OK, now for my Fifth Star Crusher. «Whatever could knock that 5th star out?» you may ask. Well, it’s the damn music! Drives me batshit man. Here’s the deal, I don’t have a problem with music. Love the stuff. Love all kinds. Like it loud, like it chill. The thing is, music is a mood setter. Yes kids, that’s right. I don’t know who picks the music at Bonefish, but they must never eat there. Either that or they get seriously agro when they masticate their grub man. I know, you’re reading this thinking, «Is this guy for real? Suck it up DB! Go home & cry in your soy milk Nancy Boy!» Hear me out man. OK, I’m sittin at Bonefish with the wife, eatin some good bread I just dipped in some olive oil and basalmic, listenin to some decent chill music. It’s all good right? Nope, because all of a suddenly the track switches to some seriously crappy 80s music, some techno crap, or some singer songwriter butchery of a previously good song. And that’s not the crusher. It’s the volume man! It bounces all over. It screws with my Dinner Zen and my friggin digestion. And the thing is, you can’t move. There’s a speaker pumping this swill over every friggin table. And it’s always like this. Look, if you wanna jam … they have a bar man. But, I’m there to have a nice dinner with my wife. It’s a really nice place. I guess what I’m trying to say is that the atmosphere of the restaurant, the quality of the food and the level of service are done a great disservice by the choice and volume level of the music. Perhaps some corporate bean counter at Bonefish HQ will read this review and make a modest change. Other than the tunes, the place is wonderful. I just have a hard time enjoying a quality dinner and a bottle of good wine if the tunes wreck the moment. Music really does make the moment. Maybe I’ll bring my bagpipes next time

You had me at Bang Bang Shrimp, Bone Fish! Putting it on the amazing happy hour menu REALLY sealed the deal! Give me a cocktail and some Bang Bang Tacos, and you’ve got a happy HAPPY girl. In other news, I have never ordered anything here that isn’t delicious. Come for the Bang Bang Shrimp, stay for all the other awesome seafood, and thank me later!

Had our regular bang bang shrimp and garlic potatoes, which were great as usual. Tried the winter whole fish special, and while it tasted good there was barely any meat to be had. It had been cooked too long and dried out. The manager was understanding and made it right, providing a replacement protein and veggie side. A classy joint to be sure. Still on our list of close by favorites!

I went to Bonefish last night with friends. We arrived in a group of five and were seated immediately for a Saturday evening which was pretty great. We had the Bang Bang Shrimp and it was amazing. Our server Jef was awesome and suggested we also order Bang Bang Chicken for one person in our group allergic to seafood. Everyone(except myself) had the Kobe burger on the menu and everyone loved it. I had a Lobster Grilled Cheese which was a new item on the menu and it was absolutely incredible. Overall I can conclude this was a very enjoyable first experience for me and I will certainly be a return customer as long as they keep up the incredible service and food.

Went on Easter. Was the only one there. Food came out fast and delicious. Went on a Thursday night. Food took over 45 minutes and came out cold. Very disappointing for the price. The lobster grilled cheese was dry and had no flavor. Stick with the bang bang shrimp and ahi tuna.
