I was have a good time when I come here I love the music. This is not the place to come if you were on a budget. The staff is always friendly and the crowd is always fun

Music and food are good. Owner is very friendly. Drinks and seating could be better. But overall a nice outing!

I know I may not be Skinny’s main demographic, but I really like this place. My boss had a birthday party for his wife over the weekend, and I took my inside the loop self all the way to Fry Road. He had told me not to expect much, as it was a neighborhood bar, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is a good size, super easy to find, and lots of parking. They have a small outside patio, and nice bar. He had hired a DJ that was pretty darn good, and the drinks were stiff and VERY reasonably priced. Service was super friendly, and the place was super clean. I also tried out the wing basket served with crispy fried wings and fries, and they were delicious. I may stop back in just for those! All in all, if you live in the area, like lively music (they have live music on the weekends I believe) and enjoy really good food and strong drinks, stop in!

Attended a friends birthday day-​party at Skinny’s. Its a nice little/​lounge bar with OK priced drinks. I like that the DJ played a variety of music (not just southern ratchet hip hop) which appealed to different age groups, regions, etc…

Went on a Saturday night. Place was crowded. Very small & the drinks were terrible. The sound system for the live music was also pathetic.

Music was great… as long as dj wasn’t focused on what he liked. Drinks… my husband ordered a long island, came in a glass suitable for crown n coke, I asked the bartenders what was up with that short drink, he poured it into a proper long island glass and added ice until it was full, and he gave it back to me. Really??? paid $ 9 for it. Go somewhere else, drink there, n then come dance here.

We all know that 10 years ago this lounge would have not survived this Katy area. A couple of years ago when Skinny’s popped up on the scene, WE were dying to have a place to hang without having to drive to the other side of town. It’s really good to see a minority business do well in this area. I’ve seen so many businesses open and close for various reasons, but I guess Mr Skinny has a great business plan that works. I also notice they did not charge a cover until lately. I feel that was a great move to build clientele. I’ve heard a few good bongs about the Sunday Brunch, but I haven’t has an opportunity to experience it for myself. I will say that Skinny’s is a place for the Adults of Katy. I’ve also experienced a couple of great bands as well. If you’re looking for a lounge in the area, give Skinny’s a try!

I really don’t want to even give this place 1 star. Terrible service and the bartenders don’t know how to make a drink.

Great sunday brunch in Houston Chef Tiffany is amazing food with soul not soul food you can tell she loves what she does classically French trained chef beautiful person… had a blast here coming back every Sunday

I went there and it was off the chain. The live music is really good! The DJ was great too. The dance floor was too a all Though. Great bar!

Came here for the first time tonight w/​my cousins. Had a blast & half! From the owner to the bartenders, so nice & interactive w/​the customers. Karaōke night on Wednesday so much fun (you get a full set of back up singers at the bar) CJ the bartender is amazing! She came up w/​shots & mixed drinks we loved! An OMG the food…
! Me and one cousin had the fish plate & my other cousin had the wings. AWESOME! On a Wednesday night they made me a believer! I can’t wait to see what they have poppin on Friday or Saturday which I wad told are the best nights!

I love live music!

It gave me just what I wanted. music dancing relax place to chill. Dj and live music. I’ll go back and hang on the patio
