Me and a couple friends went here on a friday night thinking there was a DJ. There was not a clear explination on the website of what goes on each night. It was spoken word poetry night. It was very nice. The poets were good. after all the poets finished they played music, the DJ was on point with a good mix of music. unfortunately the food was not good for the price paid. drinks were decent. Once the word gets out this place is there it will be hott Pros. atmosphere, dj, location. Cons. food could be better. too many women.

The commute from Houston was something serious, but worth it. I went on a Friday night for the poetry event and was highly entertained and engaged. Arrive early because seating is limited, but it’s a wonderful event for girls night, or date night. I had the lemon pepper wings and the buffalo dip and LOVED the wings. The dip is a personal favorite that I like to make so I wanted to try theirs since I rarely see it on menu’s and was pleased. I didn’t like that there is no drink menu. So if you ask for a red wine, the server defaults to the most expensive wine available. It was nearly impossible to get her attention after I received my check to inquire about other wines and the price wasn’t disclosed at any point. Later in the evening I was able to converse with a server who explained that he makes certain to disclose the price before ordering, to avoid upsetting his customers. So it was nice that at least he has integrity.

Me and my fiancé went here today for brunch. Our server was nice. We ordered truffle fries for an appetizer and 2 entrees. After 30 minutes of waiting we still did not have our appetizer. The server tells us there was an electrical problem and the kitchen did not receive our order. After 30 more minutes our fries still did not come out but the server also told me they were out of grits and asked would I like something else. How do you run out of food and there was only 3 patrons there? How do you not have grits yet you have shrimp and grits on the menu? At that point we left out of frustration. That was our first and last time going there.

It’s pretty inside and that’s pretty much all this place has going for it. Food was not good and I asked for a Margarita and they gave me a disgusting strawberry daiquiri.

Giving this 1 star because I can’t give 0. The food was terrible and overpriced. The drinks were not made well and also tastes terrible. I had the seafood trio and the fish tasted like it sat in a freezer for weeks.

Just for the lemon pepper wings alone I give it 4 stars. Our table also order cheese fries and those… Not so good. We stopped by on a Friday night for my Sister’s birthday and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I’ll give it another chance soon.

Food, atmosphere, and staff were all top shelf. I had the fried catfish & grits while my husband had the jerk chicken tacos on comedy night. Both dishes were superb! There was no cover so we got to enjoy the Wednesday night comedy show for free while we dined. Plan to come back for Sunday Brunch.

Sunday Brunch: Cool vibe, great mimosas. The brunch menu is great but the actual food could use a little help. The pancakes seemed as if they came straight out of an Aunt Jemima box and the chicken wings out of Sam’s Wingette bag. The food was not disgusting but I would past on it for a Sunday Brunch. The fried catfish was normal and the grits were okay, the green onion/garlic/tomato topping made it much better.

Come into this spot this past Sunday for BHRW brunch and was impressed with how nice it was inside. From the outside the strip center it’s in seems kind of ordinary. This lounge apparently is jumping at night with different events each night of the week: comedy, dj’s, zydeco, and other live performances. I will have to return to catch a show and HH tho. I eat at the Thai place around the corner all the time and had no idea that this was here. I thought the only place in Cypress to get entertainment and hang out was your local Walmart! Anyways, the first course was the deviled eggs and they were actually really good and had crab meat inside of them. Course number too was the red velvet pancakes and they were good but kind of thin though. The final course was the catfish and grits, these were surprisingly delightful with a nice batter on them. Service was exceptional but that could have been because it just opened and we were the only ones there. It feels like a grown and sexy type of establishment and I will be back to have a drink or two and see how the vibe is and update my review. If you’re in the Cypress area and looking for a nice place for brunch, lounging, or just to chill and catch a performance, this is your place.

The food and drinks are great! The atmosphere is comfortable for those who like a «grown and sexy» vibe. This is a very versatile venue, as I have come here with my spouse for drinks and music, but also with our 8-year-old for brunch. It’s very obvious that the owner and management takes pride in their establishment. It is clean; the service is as good as it can be with limited staff(still new and growing business); overall good product delivery-food, drinks, music, environment. I will continue to come here for happy hour, steak night, dancing, brunch, and comedy! They have something for everyone. This isn’t your typical nightclub. Welcome to Cypress, Dolce!

Parking lot is small and dark the farther you are away from the entrance. Club is nice and modern although smaller than expected. Someone requested a song and the dj got mad because no one got up to dance when it played. The waitresses were attentive to the men sitting at a table but ignored us females sitting at the very next table. So we had to go to the bar and order our drinks. Glad they have food. But it’s so dark which makes it hard to eat. Plus who wants to smell or see ppl smackin’ on boiled crawfish next to you when your trying to groove. Not a lot of mingling in the place Definitely more for the grown and sexy.

Please don’t order food here. Come late for the music and dance. We had a table of four and each got our food separately over 30 minutes apart. I’m still waiting on my food order which was lost. I don’t know if it’s the wait staff or the cook who screwed it up but it’s ruined my night. It’s a nice establishment otherwise. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I heard that J Paul is there every Thursday night for Zydeco, so I decided to go check it out. The parking space is extremely limited. I arrived before 9 and had to park on the side of the building in the dark! My first impression of the venue was great. plenty of space and seating, so you’re not forced to pay for VIP or stand, although there was VIP seating on the side. The atmosphere was really nice as well as the staffing — for the most part. Besides the parking, I only had one negative, and that was the bartender. She was ‘cordial’ and professional enough, but she seemed prone to tend to the guys and friends first. It took a little while to get her to acknowledge me and when she did I felt rushed. Besides that, the drink was good, a little pricey -$ 13. I had a nice time overall and will definitely be back again… only 15 minutes from my house! :-)

Nice selection of music, however it sounds horrible when the speakers are busted. Trying to get a drink is like running to the liquor when you know it’s closed… let that marinate. Horrible bar service. Nice crowd, tho!

This lounge recently opened and it’s obvious that not many people know about it yet. But this will change very soon! The atmosphere is very grown n’ sexy, adult patrons that seem to be looking to have a good time. I’ve only been on Sundays and understand that Dana Jackson and her band will play every 2nd and 4th Sunday, late evening. The show that I caught was awesome and can’t wait to go again. I will say that once more people know about this place, parking may end up being a concern since it’s in a small shopping center area. And if I could suggest any improvements, it would be to repair the cracked parking lot area just outside the door. It doesn’t mix well with high heels. Then there’s the barstools. They all need to be checked, sat in by the someone responsible for upkeep, because it was difficult to find a barstool that did not feel as though you would end up on the floor if you rocked to the music a bit too much. Aside from these few new establishment oversights, the overall vibe is awesome! The waitresses are very attentive and seem to be quick to ensure that areas are cleared and cleaned rather quickly. And a thumbs-up for the clean bathroom(women’s). I have yet to try the food but everything that I have seen that has come out from the kitchen looks great. If you’re looking for a nice atmosphere, enjoy the big screens, the outside patio or music, this will work perfectly. You can also reserve tables. My hope that this does not become that place where you cannot get a seat soon because everything will be reserved or where a mandated cover charge is put in place. These are things that you don’t see as standard in the establishments that are in town. So, I hope patrons don’t have to make up for the lack of huge crowds like in town just because we’re in a suburb area. I anticipate this place being a huge hit. Great to have something this nice on the West side of town! Edited 1÷27÷2016 Went to the patio for the first time last Saturday. It is an awesome open space with televisions in place. Add heaters for the winter, along with speakers for the music and it will work perfectly. The patio will be my go to spot to enjoy a cigar in the spring and early summer months before the heat takes over! By the way, the barstools and the cracked parking lot outside the door have been fixed!
