This review is for young professionals and people who have graduated from college(aka older than 22). Just no. Don’t go. Most of the people here are unf students or people around their age. I’m not that old, but man do I feel like I’m at a middle school dance here… Yes, everyone is bumping and grinding, but it’s uncomfortable to watch. I want to offer gatorade to some of the guys, so they can quench their thirst. With that being said, if you are 22 and under, you belong here and deserve to have fun. If you are over the age of 22, stop being creepy and don’t come. We don’t belong. Let the kids have their fun. Oh and they charge a $ 10 cover, which is stupid because it’s so terrible. I don’t mind paying even more for cover, but it better be worth it and this place isn’t even worth going for free.

I went here with a couple of friends after dinner in the Town Center. When we first walked in the live band was playing so loud, it drove us to sit outside. We found a table outside and then found out the servers only take drink orders from VIP members.. .everyone else had to go to the bar for drinks. The bartenders seemed annoyed that people were at the bar ordering because we were interrupting their conversation. The live band ended their set at 11pm and a great DJ started playing great music. This place is good to go to after 11pm and become a VIP for faster service.

I came here to see The Chris Thomas Band and dance. Anyone who knows about the Chris Thomas band knows of his dancer followers. Practically everywhere he goes there is going to be some ballroom dancing going on. Naturally I assumed there would be a dance floor. Well at first it was extremely crowded. I guess the VIP is «upstairs» there is a bar and a VIP section where the DJ is at. They had tables set up downstairs where the stage was at and another bar in that area. It was decorated nice and trendy. We were all trying to figure out where to dance and move around. My party finally asked the couple at the table next to us if they minded to move our tables together so we could dance. They agreed and we freed up some space to dance. Finally Half way into the set the employees were moving the tables outside because they were now turning it into a night club. I was a little upset they had waiting this long to remove the tables. Oh well The band was still fantasctic but let me tell you it was packed in there. Like almost standing room only. it was unfortunate because you could barely dance. I’m sure on a regular«club» night this is acceptable because you don’t really move around much. Over all its a nice place. I have seen some really bad reviews but I cant say that I had a terrible experience. The bartenders were nice other than not knowing how to make a Mojito… but seruioiusly how can you have a bar and not serve mojitos??? isn’t that like pretty common knowledge for a bartender? Oh well. I probably wont come here unless there is something special going on. but it was nice.

Nice establishment… Plenty of seating, has ¾ barcareas w/screen tvs w/sports an outside area. I was here for a male review soooo cant tell u about food i didnt have… Lol… It seems like a nice place to have drinks n socialize. It has an open feel not cramped, wood floors and spacious bars… Very upscale feel but it is in the St John Town Ctr

Jacksonville may be the largest city in the United States, but it is a small town at heat. Suite is arguably the only lounge/club that’s comparable to other major cities. Though it has diverse patronage, it mostly caters to late 20s-30s crowd. The DJ plays a good mix of music this late 20s-gal can dig. There are 3 bar areas, small VIP seating throughout, and outdoor lounge area. The biggest perk of living in big city/small town dichotomy is plenty of FREEPARKING at the club! JOY!!!

Absolutely the BEST music I’ve ever heard outta all the clubs in Jacksonville & instead of everyone just standing around like zombies, everyone was actually dancing to every song & interacting because the music was that good & sent off such good vibes ! Defiantly will be back ! Thank you for an amazing time with amazing people — xoxo

Gave this place several chances… all horrible experiences. They tried to charge a cover for a group of us passing by 5 – 10 mins before closing. also had a bikini contest not advertised on the website. Drinks are overpriced. I won’t ever go back.

This place is probably the worst night club I have ever been too. I’m giving it a one star because I could not give it a zero. The night began with us wanting bottle service. They sat us down in an imaginary VIP area where we could not even sit due to the area being next to the bar. Then they said we needed to buy two if we wanted to sit there. Strangers kept sitting in our table waiting for drinks. They also overcharged me by swiping my card more than once. I had to dispute the charges for over 3 months. Not to mention that we were kicked out of the club for not wanting to buy a third bottle. Avoid this place !!!

Always enjoy myself when I come here. Classy, but laid back atmosphere. The drinks are expensive, but that keeps the idiots away.

Sure it’s new, shiny and trendy as are the people we encountered here. It was an off night maybe starting with the velvet ropes and the bouncer(er, I mean doorman) who got in my husband’s face saying boots weren’t allowed in their establishment. When the bouncer was shown that they were shoes, it was only with great reluctance and a lot of attitude that he moved his shoulder and let our party of six inside. To be honest, this isn’t usually my type of scene but I’m game to try new things because sometimes wonderful surprises lay outside the comfort zone. The only thing we found here were overpriced mediocre drinks and wall to wall frat boy types or douche bags who openly salivated at pretty young things and loudly sneered at anyone over the age of 30 who didn’t appear genetically blessed, or spent hours at the gym or were cosmetically enhanced. I really couldn’t say this any better that another Unilocaler Tee B who had the same impression so I’ll end my review with saying Suite was not sweet. I prefer to spend my time at places where the owners/managers and the patrons aren’t so intent on making a scene, being in a scene or looking like they belong on some popular A(hole) list where everyone else exists to either serve them or make them look better. If you’re looking for an authentic experience with people having a genuinely good time, this is not the place.

What can I say? I really expected a lot more. The website will definitely fool you. This place is advertised as a hip and trendy night spot. In my opinion it is far from that. It is a restaurant with the lights turned down low and a dance floor. My friends and I wanted to get a table and the manager told us it was a 2 bottle minimum for 4 people!(HU???) Why should we buy 2 bottles? It’s only the 4 of us, and the price changed 3 separate times from 250 a bottle to 190. Once we got inside, the menu price for a bottle was 175. I don’t understand why a business would jeopardize the trust of a consumer! I will never get that. Once inside the bottle girl assured us we only needed 1 bottle and a few mixers. The atmosphere was decent, the music was okay but we made the best of it. I saw people in there with t-shirts, shorts and sneakers, so I don’t think the dress code is strictly enforced. Over All I give Suite 3 stars. It had good service once you get past the ropes, and okay music.

TERRIBLE! We paid $ 10 to get in… regrettably. Disappointing. We left and they cut the bands off our hands. We went to go back in to meet up with the rest of our group and they asked where our wristbands were. We told them they had cut them off. They turned into sarcastic jerks claiming they don’t cut wristbands off and that we were apparently liars… STAYAWAY. Go to the beach bars.

The space was trendy dark and sexy. I came for the nightlife so I can’t speak on the food. I liked the outdoor bar area. The cranberry long island was tasty. The music was pretty good. An upscale vibe in a suburban town center area.

Are you a hot, minimally clothed female? Are you on the VIP guest list? Are you willing to spend your whole pay check and your first born child on the check? Are you an at all a person? If you say yes to any of the above, then you’re welcome here. On a humid Friday night, after fulfilling our stomachs of glorious food from Blackfinn, my friends and I stumbled over to Suite for drinks. It was a little bit after 10pm when we arrived to be greeted by two gentlemen in polished suits but a subpar attitude. They were busy on their phones before asking us for IDs. The floor and bar were quite empty yet my fellow male companionships were denied entrance for a while due to their ‘full’ guest list. However, me and my girls were granted entrance right away! As you’ve guessed it, we thanked them and walked away. As soon as we’re backs we’re turned, there a was a loud, disgruntled voice commanded them to let us in. Well, we went in anyway because two things; they have booze and heavily edited pop music. Our night ended with an absurdly overpriced bill. I definitely paid a king’s ransom for an hour of sad sighs from the lady in the bathroom, nonchalant bartenders and extremely heavy cleavage shoved into underwire/leather-like tops which resulted in them trying to breathe for their lives.

I’ve been here a few times for only drinks, only apps and a few times for drinks & apps. I really can’t say that I’ve ever had a bad time here. If you feel like getting dressed up and having a night out, this could be your place. The bartenders are usually very attentive and friendly with absolutely no attitude. The place is very spacious with a nice outdoor patio for having a bite to eat with a group, going on a date, meeting with a friend or two or just coming in by yourself to enjoy the atmosphere & people watch. Not all nights are packed, but sometimes there is a line out the door. I’m not a big club person anymore, but I always feel at ease @ Suite when I have gone. This last time, I came to be a wing girl and meet some pretty funny people. The bartenders at the sidebar were super nice and made really yummy drinks. And if I’m the designated driver, the kitchen offers pretty decent munchies to nibble on while I sip on my water. Parking is pretty easy and I have to admit, it’s fun to go to the Town Center once in a blue moon…

The Leukemia and Lymphoma had an event here and the staff was wonderful. They showed up early, put their«Alice in Wonderland» costumes on and went to work for charity. I am a father of three young children, so I am rarely in a lounge, bar or club, but this was classy, clean and again, the staff was terrific.

My girlfriends and I love going here for a night out after dinner on a Thursday night. The place is on the smaller side compared to other clubs I’ve been to but it is a comfortable layout. I enjoy getting there a tad earlier to avoid the cover charge. Sometimes especially on weekends it is unavoidable. If you sign up for their email list they will alert you to up coming fun events. Their drinks are reasonably priced and the bartenders always make good cosmos ;) they better. It’s my favorite. I’ve had a salad from the kitchen and it was delicious. The music is usually great to dance to. It gets hoppin around 11:30pm and from there the dance floor is crowded and intense. My girls and I can always find a dance partner and if not it is still a blast. We went for my friends bday and for an hour we got free 3 olive drinks. Awesome. The only problem we’ve ever had is one night their was a concert for a DJ who played house music the entire night. Sorry but not my groove. That was disappointing night. This is a great place to go.

Vey classy, upscale venue with amazing food and a never ending list of events. This is the go to place for a nice night out. I went for Valentines day to an «Anti-Valentine» event. The décor was nice, they move the tables out of the way later in the evning to make room for a dance floor and there are several bar areas including one open to the outside which was nice to visit intermittantly inbetween bouts of dancing to take advantage of the cool night air. My only complaint is that my jacket was stolen, which makes me think shouldn’t nice establishments have a coat check? I think that would be a value added addition.

I really wish I could assign ½ a star. This is about a 3.5 but i’ll round up because onl;y one area seems to be consistently be a problem. Great décor, great dj’s/entertainment, great bartenders, great servers. Great wine options. A place that actually keeps an adult dress code. Every so often you see a few people slide, but just assume they know the staff or are in VIP. Where they fail: drink prices and food. Had tapas several times and every time the food sucks. Food that should be chilled comes out warm. Hot food comes out cold. And it’s all tasted either nasty or flavorless. Drink prices would be a bargain in the NE. But for the area they are much higher — but the quality of the drinks makes the price bearable. While another reviewer said bartenders cut drunks offs. I haven’t been able to witness this myself. The sun wasn’t even down and some fool was loudly shouting to what seemed an uninterested woman and a server was flagged out to take his glass and return with another, while everyone around looked over every few seconds in pity for the woman trapped by the boozier.
