Usually pretty good, but the last few times I’ve been my sandwich was a bit soggy. Maybe I’ll ask for light on the condiments next time.

Now my go to meal when all other ideas don’t pan out. The sub sandwich, a grinder, even a hoagie. All different names for the sand sandwich. Jersey sub is for me the closest sub to the real New Jersey sub that I used to eat as a boy on summer vacations. There’s a sub shop that is still there and serving subs called The Parrot Sub Shop in Highlands NJ. I compare every sub I have ever ate to theirs. I like that they cook their own bread at Mike’s and they slice the meat to order. They also don’t lay the meat out they pile the meat on. It really does taste better when your meat is piled on and not laid on. Then you have to get your sandwich Mike’s way with mayo lettuce, onions, oil n vinegar and out the door. To me this is a fabulous sub and I will continue to eat them. I just wish there was one closer to our house. Bummer Mike

I’ve eaten there twice, it sucks. The food is nasty processes meat and the cheese was very hard and thin. I will not be going back here agin bc it’s just that awful. Don’t waste your calories.

Saw a lady ask for them to take out the fluffy inside of the bread and they did without fuss. I’m addicted to their giant subs, mikes style. Surprising, my kid and hubs asks for this place than I do it’s a win… and I secretly love to go there too. Super nice guys and awesome military discount. This place is for our«healthy» fast food fix. It kicks subways’ ass.

I’ve been going to jersey mikes for about a year or so now. I have to admit the first time I tried it I was not impressed. so after a few months I tried it again and now it’s my favorite sub shop of the sub chain stores. Everything is sliced right in front of you and the bread is really good. You can tell its baked fresh. I haven’t tried any other locations but the group that they have working at this shop is very friendly and helpful.

I was impressed! The food was pretty good but not firehouse good in my opinion. We walked in and were treated and everything was pleasant. Ordered the food and say down and waited. Didn’t take long to get it brought to us so that’s a plus(: it was real good with the spices and stuff they added but I feel firehouse has better flavoring when it comes to the art of sandwich making and I’d choose them first. But there is nothing bad about here at all! I’d totally recommend it. So check it out(:

I called at 7:57pm to find out what time this location closed and was told that they close at 9pm. I arrived at 8:38pm to find a hand written note taped to the door that said«due to unforeseeable circumstance we will be closing at 8oclock, we apologize for any hassle this may cause you» A worker came to the door with a coupon and told me that they ran out of bread. How do you run out of bread? What if I wanted a wrap or a salad? Why don’t you make more bread before you run out? If they knew they were almost out of bread when I called 3 minutes before the time on the note on the door said they were to close, why was I not told of this then? Why didn’t they borrow bread from their other store? Now I’m mad and still hungry. I had been wanting Jersey Mike’s Subs for days now, guess i’m just out of luck.

For the Blanding Blvd location across from OP High School. LOVEIT! The sandwich was amazing and I tried the Original Italian of which was sooooo delicious! The meat is fresh, sliced right as you order it. A must try. There is a fluffy female worker there that really should work on her customer service skills. She definitely can kill the business. Very awful when taking orders and it’s your first time. Please send her to some type of additional training to learn better customer service skills. The two guys there were very nice and helpful.

Nice shop, they had cut your meat while you watch your sandwich assembled. Several times we have had the #13 «Original italian» it has several tasty combinations such as Provolone, Ham, Prosciuttini, Cappacuolo, Salami, and Pepperoni. All served on Jersey Style bread. Try the Mini size for a small portion. The final step is the finishing touches Mike’s Way with Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Vinegar, Oil and Spices. They offer a loyalty card to earn«Shore» points towards a free sandwich. I have enough accumulated for a «Giant» size sub that can feed four people, now just waiting for the perfect event to cash it in for the family.

This was my first Jersey Mike’s experience; they seem to be spreading like a rash, opening new stores all across the country. I made the mistake of comparing Jersey Mike’s Subs to Subway, which personally insulted my lunch companions. The employees at this location were very nice, even with the lunch rush. Overall, it’s cheap and you get a good size sandwich that seemed like it was made of ingredients that won’t make you sick. Will I go back? No. The only reason I went this time is that my friends were dying to eat there and I didn’t want to rock the boat. My advice, rock the boat and go eat somewhere else. You could get on twitter and follow some of the local food trucks… just a suggestion.
