Ok so straight to the food, the fries were delicious whatever that seasoning is they use please put it on the burger. Burger was alright needed that seasoning tho, great size, but my top bun was a lil hard but edible.. Overall I liked it and would go back for those fries anytime.

I had the craving for a chili cheese burger for lunch and found this place here on Unilocal. The wait staff was friendly and my order came out quick(less than five minutes). The chili cheese burger was good but could have used a little more chili on it. The fries were really good and perfectly seasoned — they were the star of the meal. This was not the best burger I have ever had but was better than anything else close in the aria. All in all a very good experience and yes, I will go back here.

The food is quite good for a quick in-n-out spot, never had breakfast but lunch fare(burgers, salads, potatoes) all great!!! But this fall they STOPPED giving credit/debit card receipts, and then said they NEVER gave them out before, which is not true. So they lost ALOT of business from the local companies, so once again… BADMANAGMENT is killing it.

I think of this place as a great local find. The food is delicious and outrageously affordable. The staff is polite, there’s ample parking and it’s very clean. When you first walk in you’re greeted by chalk board sign menus. Although it makes seeing all the options a bit difficult because they are spaced far away, there are plenty of options ranging from hot dogs, burgers and chicken strips. I had a combo which included a hamburger with fries and a drink all for about $ 8. The hamburger was good with a bun that tasted freshly baked. The fries were my favorite. There was such a large amount of them and they were thinly cut and extra crispy. I could’ve probably only gotten the fries and be satisfied. They’re drinks include a fountain machine and iced tea that was delicious. My coworker had the chicken strips and she liked it as well. The staff was incredibly polite and helped me as I struggled to find the napkins. I’ll be back for lunch another time.

I got the chili cheese dog and it’s just ok. The establishment was very clean & the customer service was great. Will go back and try some of the other menu items.

Good place for a good cheap burger. A cheese burger with fries and drink will run you $ 8. Burger is tasty but a little on the thin side. The fries are excellent and a generous portion. Ask for ranch to dip them in.

I went here today after a co-worker recommend this place. I just ordered a basic cheese burger combo which comes with fries and a drink for about $ 8.00. I really enjoyed the burger, but it all depends on what you expect out of your burger. If your looking for a little greasy but not dripping down your arm greasy, and you like fresh veggies this is a place you should check out.

I work close to Melters and finally gave it a try. The fries were very good with a large serving. The bacon cheeseburger was terrible. It was packed with very cold lettuce/tomatoes and a thin beef patty. I could barely taste the meat, bacon or cheese. The service and store were fine but there’s much better options in the area IMO.

I’ve really only had the bacon cheeseburger here, which is just between good and great– groot? the fries are thin and crispy and plentiful. the service is fast and friendly. you can dine in or take orders to-go. breakfast is also offered.

Great food… service was a little slow but I believe they may have had a large call in order. I will call ahead next time. I love the turkey burger… always cooked to order & very fresh. The fries are a win with me as well, thin cut and seasoned to perfection. Come early because this area gets packed at lunch time.

This is a great place to grab lunch. They have quality food and the staff are nice. I had chicken strip burger and fries — both very good. The baked potatoes they serve are very generous as well, which makes this place a good choice for any vegetarians in your entourage(you do have an entourage, right?).

I will admit that I am a sucker for a great burger. You just cannot beat it. Unless of course your french fries outshine it. Which is what happens to be the case here. The kiddo and I were heading out of town and I needed a little something to eat before we headed to the airport. A burger is always a good option. My choices were limited. Mickey Ds(never an option), Subway(meh), and Indian place, donuts or Melter’s. Of course when you walk in you get the great smell of fries wafting about and the sizzle of burgers on the grill. They have breakfast, chicken and salads as well, but really? The star is the fries. they feature them in three options alone, besides as a side. Skin-on and extra thin, maybe an eighth of an inch thick and crispy to the point you can hear someone else eating them. The last time I saw fries like that was a chain in the northeast called Ranch One Chicken. The burger was second place, and I mean a distant second place. My only real complaints with the burger was that it lacked seasoning and it was cooked a little too long. A little more salt and pepper goes a long way. All the veggies were fresh. Shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red onion and I opted for barbecue sauce. The bun was good, but the fries surpassed it all. All and all, a decent place. I’d go back for the fries, easily.

I have had many coworkers rave about just how great the food is and obviously the prices. I don’t often eat burgers and it wouldn’t matter if they are grass fed or not to me. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was very basic. They have a small setup of fix ins in individual cups so people wont over indulge I’m guessing. I’m sure someone doesn’t want to walk back to their table with about thirty extra cups full of pickles and peppers. The fries are of the stringy and thin variety but still pretty good. They aren’t some special seasoning or anything but well above average. The grilled chicken was good but not great. I have seen a few of the loaded baked potato concoctions and they looked like a heart attack waiting to happen. I’m sure if you wanted to indulge and maybe take a four hour nap after they would be great.

Love their shoestring fries. they call it the Famous Fries. You can help yourself to their Ranch which is cool. They also make a delicious burger to go with the fries. I highly recommend this for a quick lunch in the Beltline and 635 area. I cant wait to go back and try more of their dishes. The Chilli Cheese dog appeared to be very popular.

Melter’s kind of fits in a weird niche between the fast food joints and the twisted root’s of the world. It’s on the same scale of 5 guys and pretty evenly matched with them. Both are about even in book. The burgers are good, they make a killer chili cheese fries, and the condiments are plentiful. The spot makes a tasty burger for a good price but nothing jumps out at you.

Great flat top burger. You somewhat dress your own burger here. They will put mustard, mayo, lettuce, and tomato on it for you. Anything else you want on it they have single servings for you to add if you’d like. They season the burger with something similar to Burger House seasoning which adds a little different taste than grilled meat, a plus sometimes. My favorite thing here was their fries. The french fries were shoe strings, which are small thin fries. The fries were also covered with whatever seasoning they put on the burgers.

Food: Whataburger with a bit more class, the burger tasted almost EXACTLY like what Whataburger serves up. I got the loaded fries and they were very thin but very tasty. Atmosphere: They had about 50 seats in there so there was room for a lot of people but when I went it was practically empty. They did have a nice setup of fixin’s out to serve yourself with pickles, onions, ranch, etc. They were all chilled and nice and neat. Overall: Its okay, a nice blend of different options but nothing stands out. The price is good at $ 8 for a combo but its not anything I couldn’t get elsewhere at a price that is pretty close. I’ll go back and try something a little different.

Had Melter’s today. Ordered the Onion Mushroom burger. It was ok for the money. It doesn’t compare to Smashburger or Yourway Burgers, but for the price you cant beat it. I really liked their above average thin cut fires and bread. Its a no frills burger for less than $ 8 including soda. Try it.
