Management is a joke. We reserved 4 rooms that were supposed to be doubles. They gave us only 1 double bed room. When we talked them into changing them into all double rooms, they took FOREVER to get such an easy thing changed(and we pre booked everything way ahead of time). Then they informed is that we got all the rooms on the same floor. When the other people of our group arrive later, they ended up somehow on another floor… We also have only 1 outlet in our room. This place is terrible. And it’s not even that cheap.

So far not impressed at all. Corporate reservations mad the week prior to my arrival. After working all day arrived at hotel at 5 pm only to find a lob you full of people… Wondered why… Rooms were not cleaned yet!!! And as of 6:15 pm I still do not have a room… Not impressed and I’m stuck here all week… The room best be clean when I finally get in one… UPDATE:7PMANDSTILLNOFLIPPINGROOM… ISTHERE A NEGATIVESTAR! UPDATE: BY8PM I requested that they find me another hotel… They did find me and another gentleman hotel rooms at the Candlewood. There was no end in sight… I truly believe I would have been in the lobby till 10 pm waiting for my room… Then the GM even messed up the«paperwork» required for the candlewood…

Two false fire alarms beginning at 6AM, then the first of several visits from housekeeping at 6:45 to ask us if we wanted more ice this morning when we’d used no ice at all. So I guess they want all of us out of here early. Needless to say, we will find another place to stay next time we are in town. Not the best for $ 150.

My husband has a conference and I came along with our 10 month old for a quick vacation. We enjoyed the hotel– easy to find and the staff was wonderful. The breakfast was pretty good. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I thought the room smelled a little funky at first, but the smell went away so I’m not sure what that was about. I also wished there were more than one set of elevators. I ended up using the stairs since we had one of the rooms near the edge.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The shower curtain in my room was moldy. The whole hotel was dingy and out dated. One of the elevators moved 3 – 4 inches with the door still open, and the squealed as they moved. I was also pretty sure my air conditioner was going to rattle off the wall. A coworker who stayed at the same time said her end stand was sticky and so was her phone. The wireless doesn’t reach the 4th floor and the breakfast was garbage. Normally hotel breakfasts aren’t that great, but they are at least edible, but not here! I checked out and left early. It is also the only time I have felt generally unsafe in a hotel and I travel about 40 wks a year!

My son and I stayed here while attending the Big Ten Football Championship game as most downtown hotels were either sold out or were too expensive. I was surprised at how affordable the hotel was for this type of weekend and how close the hotel was to downtown Indy. The hotel is right off of I-465. As we arrived, I could tell the hotel was a bit older than other Holiday Inn Express hotels we have stayed in. However, once we walked in, I could tell that it had undergone renovations recently. The lobby was warm and inviting. The check-in process was smooth, and we even got bottled water and a bag of chips! Arriving in the room, we noticed it was immaculate! The beds were made perfectly, and the furniture in the room was comfortable as well. Maybe the only complaint I had was that our curtain did not close all the way and there was a security light near our window, so I had to work a little bit to keep the light out, but nothing that I would knock the hotel for. The shower was wonderful and the towels were very comfy. Since the game ended so late, we did not get to sleep until 1:00 a.m., so needless to say we slept in. When we checked in the front staff indicated that breakfast would be served until 9:30 a.m., so I was very surprised when we went down near 10:00 a.m. to see that some breakfast items were still available. The waffles and other hot items had already been put away, but there was still cereal, bagels, muffins, and juice available. I could see that the staff was cleaning up breakfast since it had been closed for nearly 30 minutes already. Rather than protest our being late, the staff actually asked if they could get me anything that was not out. Talk about great customer service! I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay that is close to all that downtown Indy has to offer!
