Candlewood Suites Indianapolis Northwest

This hotel was fantastic. Stayed for only one night and for the price of the room I wasn’t expecting much, however I was pleasantly surprised. Big spacious rooms with everything you can ask for, neat little shop downstairs for food and drinks, grills outside under a pavilion. Candlewood is the bomb and when I make my way back to Indy I will most certainly be staying here for it.

Well after Holiday Inn Express had my reservation over 6 days I advanced and I had to wait over 3 hours for our clean room… I demanded they send me to another hotel… And I came to be at the candlewood… Excellent clean room… my only complaint is that there is NO continental breakfast… I was Countining on this to get me through till dinner… I only have 30 min for lunch and I don’t eat fast food… I will now have to get up early to go to LA Peep for Breakfast… But I have a clean room… My rating may improve over the next 4 days… Well see… Tyrel at the desk at candlewood is AWSOME!!!

Awesome experience and they gave me a discounted rate for being a state employee! It was like staying in a nice studio apartment. They had grills available if you wanted to barbecue and washers & dryers. They had a full working kitchen with a microwave, stove, dishwasher and a full refrigerator with an ice maker. Loved my stay and can’t wait to come back

Terrible! My elderly parents came into town this weekend and Candlewood did not honor their reservation! My parents went to check in around 1pm and were told their room had been given away. It’s moto GP weekend and all the hotels are booked!
Don’t make a reservation here, as you might end up in the same situation.

For a moderately priced hotel, you can’t ask for more than what’s here. There’s a pool that stays open fairly late (10PM) and a business center. Free laundry on site, just bring your own detergent. The little shop is nice too if you just want to grab a quick bite to eat. More than enough parking spaces.
The location is equally as great. It’s only about a 10 minute drive to downtown so it’s super quiet at night. Across the street is the White River and the parks along the river are 5 minutes away. It’s close to a number of hospitals and IUPUI is across a bridge for those who want to mingle with the college crowd.
The only downside I found with my room was that for a king sized bed, they only gave me 3 tiny pillows. I’m not a giant so I was fine with it but it was a little weird seeing a giant bed with 3 tiny pillows. Other than that the hotel is fantastic!

Nice place. Super friendly staff. Nice rooms. They have a little shop where you can buy some basic food items for lunch, dinner, or snacks… all on the honor system, and VERY fairly priced!
Washers and dryers are free, and they have a lending library of DVDs.
It ain’t home, and it ain’t the Ritz, but it’s a damned nice place to stay.

I love staying here, the front desk is always helpful and friendly and the rooms are beautiful, it’s like a home away from home! I always looks for a candlewood property on my business trips.
