The price and taste cannot be beat! Among the best in the city and wine to compliment it a all.

Looks like this place is under new owner. It’s a mom and pop establishment. The sushi and sashimi use to be really fresh and good here. Met my wife for lunch today. It was lunch time and there was only two table in the whole place. Service was very slow. My wife order the Pad Thai and I order Sashimi Lunch with a Coors Light. My wife got her food 30 minute before I got my sashimi. Seem like our server, the owner, forgot to turn in my food ticket. I got my sashimi lunch but nerve got my beer. While waiting for my food, I try some of my wife Pad Thai. It was good for the price. My sashimi potion was small and it wasn’t fresh. It was suppose to by 10 different type of sashimi. Boil shrimp and tuna roll are not sashimi. This place is beautiful but it’s ashamed they cannot execute the food and drink correctly.

Ordered carry out for lunch and was very pleased. The lunch special of 3 rolls for $ 10.50 is a great deal. I ordered the following rolls: Spicy tuna Spicy scallop Keystone roll I was expecting smaller rolls for the price, but not at all. 8 pieces of each. On top of the great deal they were tasty. Adding this to my lunch spot options near the office.

I’ve been here many times on a number of various nights(weekend and weekday) and never had such a bad experience. I don’t know if it’s the new ownership or what but it took 5 minutes after I walked in(and walked around the restaurant) to get someone to help me. Then after I told them this he shrugged his shoulders and said its only him working. My expectation was at least an apology and he asked us if we still wanted food. I declined and went to the much more service oriented and quite tasty naked tchopstix which was 30 seconds away.

The diablo roll is hands down why I come back to this place. And I’ve had consistently delicious diablo rolls… Until tonight. It clearly had sat longer than the rest and the flavor suffered and the texture was tough. Service was slow despite there being just a handful of people at tables. Which makes the poorly prepared diablo roll even more inexcusable. Had it been a busy night I might have been more forgiving. Overall it a disappointing experience. And it pains me to admit that because miyagis had been a favorite of mine for awhile.

Love this place! Great modern décor that is very clean and chic making a romantic setting with wonderful cuisine. Usually plenty of room, so you can get right in. Waitresses are very friendly and helpful, and they offer a great variety of entrees, with plenty of freshly made sushi rolls. I ordered three rolls that were amazing visually as well as tasty, and the combinations of flavors were unbelievable. My favorites are Play Boy, Munch Crunch and Special Lobster, but I usually throw in a California Roll or a Spicy Salmon or Spicy Tuna as the are also equally delicious. Honestly, i have eaten here on several occasions when I’m working in Indy, and I have never been disappointed with this restaurant!

We had thought we found a hidden gem when we first visited this place. And it was wonderful. I even posted a glowing review, but since it has changed hands, we have gone twice and the second time was so bad that we will not be back. We ordered 4 rolls and there was VERY, VERY little sushi in any of them and the spicy tuna tasted like smoked salmon from a can. Ver sad to not have a favorite sushi spot now.

Came in on a slow afternoon. waitatafg was attentive but didn’t hover. We had the seafood udon noodles amazing! Had several rolls as well all of it delicious. Would’ve given 5 stars but they are under new management and did not take the Unilocal coupon, that was a little disappointing.

They are under new management so I would ignore all previous reviews. Horrible overall experience. They had one server waiting on 50 people. Took 30 minutes to get a drink and they didn’t even bring out our salad. Food was at best a one star. The new owner was very rude. Buyer beware!

We had a group of 10 that went in on Valentine’s Day, we were surprised when we arrived to find out there were only a couple people in the restaurant. The first thing that went wrong was it took 30 minutes to get drinks from the bar, our drinks came out after our appetizers and salads came out. The excuse for the timeframe was because«they were busy», but as I mentioned previously there were more people working than people in the restaurant. The sushi was just okay. What sealed the deal for the 1 star is after being at the restaurant for 3 hours because the wait for everything was so long we tried to cash out. I had a certificate from for $ 25, apparently they do not accept the gift cards from there because they are«under new management», If you’re under new management I would think you should want to make people happy and honor the gift card! We asked to speak to a manager, the manage told us that she«doesn’t like this place either» and that we should«go some where else better», there was no resolution with her and she was not helpful at all with both the gift card situation and the fact that it took 3 hours for our dinner. This was my first and last time here. I would suggest you take her advice and«go some where else better»!!

I think that this is a mom and pop kind of place so I respect that. The sushi is just okay and relatively pricey. I like the décor and that they play jazz music. It’s a classy looking establishment. Plus points for being open on labor day. I wanted some nigiri but they no longer carried uni, which is my favorite! They should keep it off the menu if that’s the case. The rest of the nigiri was okay. I think the lobster roll that I read a rave review about is overrated. Would NOT try the fried ice cream; it was very doughy and not good. Also if you want mochi ice cream, just go to any asian grocery store and buy a box. Don’t forget to check in on Unilocal for a 10% discount!

I stopped here the other day for lunch by myself later in the afternoon. I was craving sushi since I have not had it in a while and this place popped up only Unilocal. When I stopped in I was pleased to see that it is quiet and intimate while also being casual. Keep in mind I was here on a Thursday afternoon at 3pm so i was the only one. I looked over then menu and loved that it was a brief 4 – 6 pages. I hate going to eat and having to decide from a novel of entrees. I have trouble deciding what to eat as it is. What caught my eye at first was the lunch specials that these sushi places always have. I took a picture of it and posted it on their page, but sadly I did not get to try the lunch menu since the cut off is 2:30 and I was there after 3pm. My fault for eating so late! I ordered the teriyaki salmon bento box since it came with a little bit of everything and had the sushi I was craving. Sadly, I did not get my bento box since they were out of basically everything that came with it. I was very disappointed but I mean want can you do? I just let it go and was given a teriyaki salmon entrée with rice, salad and miso soup. The waiter was younger and was very nice so I would hate to be a jerk about it. He did offer me extra miso soup which I enjoyed but sadly it did not make up for the other things I did not get. Overall the food and setting was great. I would definitely give this place a try again during dinner or something and also hopefully get sushi if they have all the things! I will add that this was my first time coming here and since I checked into the Unilocal app I got a 10% off coupon which made me happy! So remember to keep checking in places!

I’d give it a 3.5 stars if I could. We had shumai and dragon roll to start off. They shumai, stuffed with shrimp was par excellence. The miso soup was also good. However the entrees we tried a) shrimp and scallops b. shrimp tempura with vegetables were nothing out of ordinary. If anything the shrimp with scallops were rather salty. Next time I plan to stay off the entrees and would love to try an assortment of nigris. The service was prompt and courteous. could use our coupon without any trouble.

I have never cared for sushi until I found the Sunday Morning Roll at Miyagi’s. Sweet Mother of Mystery that roll is to die for! It probably doesn’t even count as sushi with all the bad stuff that is in it but I don’t care, I can finally order something when my husband wants to bust out the chopsticks and for that, I am so pleased! Sunday Morning Roll: Cream cheese with salmon, fried. So bad, but sooooo good. We also tried the flash seared Beef Takaty, very delicious. We also bought a Groupon while we were there and had no issues redeeming it! Big open space and awesome lunch options. The only downfall is the lack of a happy hour. would have loved that but I still can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I get a monthly voucher from for our timeshare each month and decided to try Miyagi… As we walked in we were greeted by a nice older lady… And our server was very pleasant. I started off with an uni shooter and that was great! 2 solid piece of uni in my shooter $ 3/each and it was delicious. I ordered 2 pieces of uni sushi $ 4.50 each… Wow! But it’s usually worth every penny, uh maybe not this time. They came out looking like a glob of liquid. You could not see the texture of the uni anymore. So I decided to order another shooter since that piece of uni looked better and tastes better. I was told they that served me the last piece. So bummed because that is my favorite thing at any sushi restaurant. If it was going to look like crap, you are better off not serving it. I also ordered the sweet shrimp… $ 10 for 2 pieces and they brought out just one and had to correct it and bring out another one. Never the servers fault and he was kind about it. The sauce on our steak was too sweet, but I guess the husband enjoyed it anyways! Service was good. He was nice and pleasant! So he still gets a nice tip!

I am from NY and CA, and we have lots of good sushi restaurants. Miyagi is among the best I have had anywhere. So far this is the best sushi I have had in Indy. I highly recommend it and will go there again and again. The service was excellent and our waiter was very kind. I had Tekk-Don and asked it to be prepared with different types of tuna. It was served with a delicious salad and savory miso soup. Excellent! And unlike NJ and CA sushi restaurants, Miyagi was reasonably-priced, especially with our certificate.

This is my 2nd time here & both times have been because I have been waiting for my car to be serviced at a car dealership across the street. The menu is not super vegetarian friendly, so vegans and vegetarians have to do some detective work about what they can eat since these items are not marked as vegan/vegetarian on the menu. I ended up ordering the Vegetable Combination off the Lunch Special(served M-F, 11am-2:30pm). You have the option of choosing two or three rolls out of five options, and so I ordered a kampyo roll, avocado roll, and oshinko roll for $ 13. All the rolls tasted fairly good, but were not particularly notable. It also came with a delicious side salad & tasty miso soup. I asked if I could use the 10% off Unilocal coupon, but was told that it did not apply to lunch specials. The $ 2 green tea I ordered was served luke warm but I was told I could have as many refills as I wanted. I’m giving three stars primarily for the limited vegetarian options & the averageness of the options that are offered.
