I got a shocktop on tap here and it TASTED LIKE MOLD.
Will never go back until this problem is addressed! Otherwise, i think it could be a really cool spot and hope they fix the quality of their drinks soon!

If you want a cozy atmosphere where you’ll be welcomed this is the place. A true centerpiece of the community. We’ve gone there for drinks, casual dinner, and, somewhat recently, with three children under two. The welcome we received with our kids in tow was extraordinary! The waitress was super-​friendly. Best of all, the chef brought a stuffed animal donkey for our two year-​old that delighted him. Now known as «Donk,» Donk goes everywhere with our son.
The food is good, the beer is always top-​notch, and it’s the sort of place that makes you feel part of your community.

Also this girl brandie gave an unfair review, I tried to talk to her and she freaked. People don’t give her review any consideration, she us a but job, lol.

Ok, so this review is about the wait staff because I haven’t had bad experiences at the bar. I decided to order a burger that said «specially seasoned patty» so I pointed to the description on the menu and asked the waitress what that meant since I have some allergies. She said, oh it’s just the bun that’s onion flavored, so I said okay. Low and behold, my burger arrives and I have a couple bites. .. chock full of chunks of garlic, which I can’t have. I called the waitress over to tell her and she proceeded to argue with me that I was wrong about the garlic and that the only seasoning was on the bun. I picked apart the burger so she could see that there were indeed pieces of garlic in it and didn’t seem to understand that «I can’t have garlic» meant. .. I can’t have garlic. Very frustrating to ask an employee that should know the menu about an item and have that person have no clue about a brief, 2-​page menu full of bar food. It’s not exactly like there’s an extensive selection of burgers and she was totally clueless. I’m glad I only took a few bites before I could have ended up sick. She took the item off the bill but her overall lack of concern was off-​putting. The bartender, on the other hand, was far more concerned which was nice to see, but we still won’t be going back there. The management should make sure the staff are properly trained on the food items they are serving considering people may have allergies.

So I’ve been back a few times. The bartenders, for the most part, are phenomenal. They seriously upped the tap selection recently as well. The menu is surprisingly enticing and everything that I’ve ordered has come out as expected.
Like most bars it turns into a younger crowd later on weekends, but as far as huntington goes, it’s as full service as it gets. They don’t gouge you on price either. I’ll probably become a regular, who knows

I ate here with my wife and in laws today. Worst experience ever. First of all the waitress was wearing shorts that I would consider being called booty shorts, her ass was hanging out. Me and my wife ordered a steak sandwich and a burger m/​r and they both came out m/​w and were dry. When we were finished the server didn’t even clear off our table, we had to pay the check with dirty dishes all over the table. It was my mother in-​laws bday and we were not satisfied at all. When we walked in we really thought we were gonna like the place but don’t think we’re coming back.

Went for lunch today. Food and service were very good. Neither men’s nor women’s restrooms have hot water. Makes you question how staff washes their hands. I cannot recommend any establishment that cannot follow basic sanitary protocols.

Went to Christopher’s on a Wednesday night, we were the only people in the place when we arrived, a few guys came a little later and proceeded to play some music SOOOO LOUD which might have been OK on a night with a full bar but with us being the only other people in the place VERY ANNOYING. They did eventually turn it down. Our order took about a half and hour (again, the only people in the place) the burger which was ordered med rare came well done and the slider were about a 4 on a scale of 1 – 10. No on e checked to see how the food was or if we needed anything more. Too many great restaurants in Huntington to eat bad food. Needless to say would not go back.

One of the more well-​known places in Huntington Village, Christopher’s is a unique place to say the least. Dive-​y as dive-​y can get. It’s convenient in location so that’s why many people flock here to pre-​game before hitting up the real bars.
It was my friend’s birthday and she really enjoys this place so, off to Christopher’s it is. No cover for ladies, however there was one for guys. The inside is so outdated and in much need of a face lift. Drew couldn’t be more right. If I had to summarize this place it would be: beer soaked wood and overpriced weak drinks. We hungout for a bit, had some laughs… made some fun conversations and that’s pretty much about it.
The only reason for my extra star is for two things that night:
[1] There’s an outside bar/​semi-​dance floor in the back. We popped in to see what has happening, and there was a group having a dance-​off. Some guy was vogue-​ing. Serious skill.
[2] We met some random group of people and sang (or shall I say belted) out a beautiful rendition of «Paradise by the Dashboard Light» and «Bohemian Rhapsody». So yeah, there’s that.

I went here on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered chicken wings, which weren’t bad, but nothing special. My friend ordered salad with chicken strips which was absolutely horrible. The chicken tasted like it was stored for days. It was disgusting. Fortunately, they took it off our order and provided a free beer. From what I was able to tell from other diners, the fish and chips looks pretty good as well as the burgers.

They were playing Nickelback when I walked in but they were the only place to get food past midnight on a Saturday.
No real craftbeer selection which is a negative to me. I did opt for a Blue Point summer ale which was my best choice. I ended up splitting some wings with my friend. They only offered buffalo & BBQ flavors but they were decent. I’ve had much better wings but at midnight after a concert & long day of traveling they were what I needed so I ate my fair share.
I would only go back again if I had no other food options late night. The crowd was a bit obnoxious to me but I’m pushing 40. A few years ago & I might have loved it so take that for what it’s worth.

I have been in your establishment 4 times. Of those 4 times I have walked out twice because I was not even acknowledged after 10 minutes. Both times the restaurant was around 25 to 30 percent filled and your staff was not overworked as I watched them stand idly. As a former server it is hard to write this, however it is hard to see a good looking establishment with a menu as delicious as yours suffer from this service shortfall.

Stumbled on this place randomly for karaōke on a Thursday night, and I definitely plan on returning.
The bartenders are friendly/​welcoming, & the food is actually decent for a bar/​pub.
The bison burger I ordered was delicious.

Great bar w good food, mixed crowd but always some nice women, right age for me, I’m 50, like em w maturity and love my sense of humor. works every time. Almost. Love this place.

This place always always has a bad vibe. The crowd it attracts is drunk and rowdy, and I’ve seen many fights here.

Cougar bar. When I go home to NY I sometimes feel like Christophers but it is weird for me. Dudes standing under a TV watching sports and holding a Heineken and women on the other side. I go sit at the bar and on three occasions have had women buy me drinks. Funny thing is that I am as old as them but look really young. Three different trips there with the same result.

A bar that consistently has a crowd bc of its location. Put this place anywhere else and it would have been closed, possibly condemned, in ’86.
I am not saying avoid this place at all costs, bc it does have its moments. When they bust open the front doors in the spring/​summer it is an OK place to stop for a brew and maybe a happy hour fried food fest (50% off drinks n apps) but otherwise don’t bother. The place looks like a log cabin that someone rented out to a friendly bunch of teens for their after prom party. Guess what? Now it permanently stinks of beer soaked wood, there are cigarette butts everywhere (on the patio) and the floor is wet. If you come here on a holiday evening don’t be surprised when a fight breaks out (every. single. time.).
Lots pf people are complaining about the service. Personally, I happen to like the sass from the bartenders and wait staff. It feels more legit than the fake «Hi I hope you are having an amazing day today!!!» but if you don’t see it coming or expect above average service you are in for some trouble.

This place is 100% what you would expect. Neither great nor terrible, Christopher’s is a diveish bar with average bar food at an average price, with an average atmosphere, and average to somewhat slow service.
A word to the wise: The buffalo wing sauce is wayyy hotter than you’d expect. My friend and I got «medium» on our buffalo chicken wraps and it was so spicy that the inside of my cheeks tickled.
A fun perk, however, is that their water and soda is served in a mason jar!

Good music & fun times here. listening to songs like the Piano Man and listening to 20 year olds singing to it.
They also have a patio for having drinks outside in the summer.
