With ANY apartment complex you are going to have some good and some bad. This place was HEAVEN in comparison to my previous apartment complex. I was really worried about moving in because of all the bad reviews that I’d read. People were saying things such as it being dangerous, reaches, fleas, etc. I didn’t experience any of that. I am a single female in my 20s who lives alone and have never once felt unsafe. Well actually there was one incident where my neighbor came home drunk and came to my door instead of their own door at 3 am and I was so freaked out that I called the cops. Lol. But once the issue was cleared up I was able to laugh about it. Safety is not an issue. They have a courtesy officer who I see patrolling all the time.
The black appliances and updates are fairly nice (not top of the line) but they do the job.
Pros: decent upgrades to the units, good price **when I first moved in**, good location, diverse community
Cons: hard to find parking at night, sidewalks flood very frequently, LOTS of stray cats outside, office staff has constant turn over and are somewhat rude at times.
They only reason that i didn’t not renew my lease and I would NOT suggest the apartment to a friend is due to their rent increase. I REFUSE to pay $ 800/​month and not even get a washer and dryer with my unit.

The management here is bad.
The apartments look good at the surface, but soon after moving in, they start to fall apart.
Also, many problems with crime.
Don’t move in, you’ll regret it.

Such an amazing place to live. The management is great and I love the renovation that they recently did. Had absolutely no problems with the maintenance and the people here are so nice!!! Loved living in my apartment at The Wilcox.
