I understand that this bar is in its soft opening. I went here to try it out after reading the first review saying they have drink specials. The place is empty– there is just 2 of us. The staff is nice and friendly. But $ 9 for well drinks during happy hour? Really??? I felt that I got ripped off. I should have gone somewhere else. I am not coming back. If only I could give zero stars I would have done that.

I came to this bar on a Thursday night just to check it out cause I heard their drink specials were good, which they were. It was $ 2 ritas, $ 2 beers, a $ 5 drink called purple haze that’ll definitely get your night going, $ 5 you call its, and a 50¢ wing deal. It is a sports bar so they had TVs going with pre-season NFL games(finally. finally football season again!). For less than $ 20 I walked out feeling very… happy. The bar had a live DJ going all night and he was very good. Not playing anything that the radio has killed recently which is a great relief when going out. We were hearing a lot of throwback music mixed in with some modern stuff and it all flowed really well. My girlfriend and I were dancing in our seats while we played jenga! The DJ definitely added to the fun feel of the bar. The bar was having a soft opening so it was kind of a test run from its old set up as Caddy Shack to its transition into this new sports bar. Naturally there were a couple problems but nothing terribly offsetting. The bartenders were incredibly nice and helpful and balanced out the minor flaws that we were experiencing. The one I had was Karen and I could tell she was very busy but always found a way to get you what you needed. They’re transitioning from an old menu to a new one so some of the food we wanted was not available, but we ended up picking the tacos which were very simple but very tasty. The food transition didn’t really bother me. The only thing that I thought was kind of weird was that they also sell hookah and allow people to smoke it inside. The bar is completely indoors so the smoke disperses more slowly. Upon entering, the establishment smelled like hookah and wings. That is really my only complaint. It was just odd and slightly off putting although you adjust to it. I’ll definitely go back and I can’t wait to see how this bar turns out after they’ve completed their transition!
