Wow! Just ate at this place this past weekend. My sister referred me. We were on the search for really good sweet and sour chicken and to no avail we couldn’t find any near Eldridge. But alas! the entrée, rice and egg rolls were all delicious! I cant wait to try the other entrees! Real good Chinese AUTHENTIC tasting Chinese food!

The night we first walked in the employee(owner?) was mopping the floor next to us as he kept screaming in Chinese at someone in the kitchen, rude and unprofessional. Worst, we both got diarrhea from what we brought home from there — we will NEVER be back.

ordered the lunch chicken with garlic sauce, it lacked flavor. The only good thing about the meal was the eggroll. It was crunchy, but the filling was measly. I would not come back nor order from here again!

Been ordering from NiHao for over a year now. We always get the General Tso or Orange Chicken, and it’s always good. They always get our order correct and have really fast delivery time as well. :).

I am really glad that this place is close by AND that they deliver. I swear they have the best egg rolls: thick, fat and packed with delicious goodness. The crab puffs are light crunchy and packed with filling. Delivery is fast, and the food is always hot… steaming hot! One of my all time fave dishes is the Szechuan Chicken mild with always comes out to my liking, not extremely spicy, but not bland either. Due to the order minimum for delivery if I am on my way home from work, I may just stop by if I am just craving eggs rolls & a soup; however, the traffic on Memorial is so crazy that it makes turning into their strip a bit of a challenge… but they are friendly and prompt so it makes it worth the stop. The establishment is small, but spacious and clean plus they have a nice fish tank at the entrance to keep you entertained while waiting on your togo order. The lady at the register is really nice and seems to have a relationship with regulars which is a really nice touch.

I order here regularly for delivery, it’s hit or miss. Usually fairly decent and the food arrives timely. Today I placed an order for $ 14 at around 1 pm on a Saturday and received a call back from a rather rude young female voice asking me to increase my order because they only delivery for a $ 15 minimum. There menu states $ 12 for lunch delivery $ 15 for dinner delivery. I ordered more food but I was ticked off I’ve been a loyal customer and never had a issue before speaking with this person. It’s not that big of a deal but she informed me lunch is only on weekdays I’ve ordered like this before and never had a problem on weekends. I won’t order from them again unless I’m desperate they deliver late. I felt played i mean seriously false advertising and snotty attitude. I’ll my review of the food when it gets here.

We’ve been coming here since mid 2014. Usually a group of about 5 of us come during lunch. We order several entrees and share a bit of everything. This is one of the better places I’ve been to. Food is excellent. One our our co-workers is Chinese, so he knows what to order. Some recommendations: Orange beef, fish in chili sauce, salt and pepper fish. You can’t go wrong with the sichuan page of the menu(last page). A drawback is that the place is small. It will be a tight fit, but the food makes up for it. Service is good. The place itself is bare bones, nothing fancy about it, but if your focus is food instead of décor, you’ll be alright.

It doesn’t compete with what your going to find in Chinatown, but if you need a quick Chinese fix this place will do. Although we stop by from time to time to dine in, because of it’s limited décor, we find this place better suited for delivery, which we find to be very reliable. And since we mainly use this place for delivery, we stick to the items that travel well. For example, the dumplings, the egg foo young, the ma po bean curd, the mu shu pork or really anything that isn’t fried — since fried food doesn’t travel well and turns soggy. Enjoy it for what it is… a good cheap, quick lunch or reliable take out.

Food is a not bad. But, loud with their kids always getting yelled at. But they derisive it. Haha TV is set at China stations no English. And I don’t know really how clean. It doesn’t seem all that clean. The atmosphere just SUCKS

Beware, this place is very questionable, so if you dine here eat at your own risk. We all know to reduce, reuse, and recycle but come on — don’t hand out dirty to go containers. They have no concern for cleanliness here… they handed out a Togo container that was dirty. It had sauce or something in it from a previous use and brought to their attention it was like eh it’s stained so what. So nonchalant… Who knows what else they’re recycling?!

I have never been to this location only ordered for delivery. But I did not like it. The rice that was supposed to be pork fried rice tasted like fish. I won’t order from here again. The chicken was good but I had to throw the rice away.

Waited two hours for a delivery that never came. Called both hours and the lady claimed they were on their way. The place was 15-minutes max from my house, she was playing games. I’ll never order from them again.

I’ve never set foot in the restaurant. It’s fantastic delivery, however, and affordable too. They are quick and professional, plus they make it so easy to order. The food is typical delivery Chinese which you just need once in awhile.

I ordered from this place because some guy was putting flyers on all of our doors the moment I arrived home after a long day of work. Cooking simply was not an option and I had been meaning to try this place for 6 months. I believe a coworker of mine once mentioned this place being pretty good — her or her sister tried it. I don’t recall. I should have just trusted the reviews on Unilocal I suppose. I ordered the appetizer chicken wings, shrimp egg foo young and egg drop soup for about $ 18. Talk about cheap. That earned them the first star. I figured if they could get these 3 dishes right I could definitely roll with them in the future. I don’t suggest dining in this place. Its not pretty and its not relaxing. DEFINITELY a To-go/Delivery place in my opinion. On to the food. which is typically all I ever care about. If the grub is great I’ll deal with the dirt but the food has to be something worth writing home about. The 4 chicken wings were smashed into a small container — the sides of the container were torn, stretched and forced closed with rubber bands. Horrible, tacky presentation. I’m assuming if I had paid $ 2 more for the same meal but with french fries I would have gotten a suitable container. That just set the tone for the meal to come. The chicken wings were fried softly which I hate because I don’t play about raw food whatsoever. I ended up putting seasoning on them and popping them in the oven on 350 for 10 minutes because some crisp is a must. The shrimp egg foo young was alright, lots of veggies which I like but they used some tiny shrimp and fried the patties harder than I’m use to. None the less still pretty tasty. The dark brown sauce that accompanied the shrimp egg foo young was tangy and delicious. I was surprised by how rich in flavor it was and that totally earned them the second star. The wonton soup — WAIT… Didn’t I… I’m positive I did… I without a doubt ordered egg drop soup. I love egg drop soup(so its my personal mission to find the best in this area) and I honestly dislike wonton soup with a passion because the meat paste stuff on the inside is suspect to me. Is it pork or beef? Is it both? I did not eat it. The only thing that could have been worse than the wonton soup was hot & sour. So I guess I’m slightly grateful but still disappointed that I didn’t get what I wanted. I can promise you this. Even that brown sauce that came with the egg foo young patties couldn’t nudge me to order from this place again. I will say it was cheap and it was ready quick but I had to do too much work and they screwed up my order. I don’t know if they care or have potential. I just know I wont be wasting my time again. Good luck to the next person.

I used to live by this location when it first was built. However I moved from them and I was in luck that they deliver to my new residence. There food is good and not too pricey. Too bad that I moved again and they definitely don’t deliver now.

The Good: * very inexpensive lunch specials * at 1pm, the dining area was quite clean * the fried rice was flavorful, containing a decent amount of egg & onion * nothing was particularly greasy * the food was better than expected The Bad: * my dish(General Tso’s Chicken — quite possibly the least Chinese dish available) was almost entirely chicken fat. It was tasty, crispy, and otherwise good… but, well, I would have liked some«actual» chicken meat * the Hot & Sour soup — it was neither… and the only part of the meal which was unexpectedly bad * this is clearly a take-out focused place; the loud conversations from the kitchen/back(in some language that may have been Chinese?) would have been a bit much if I weren’t waiting for take-out The Ugly: * I can’t give this place 3.5 stars. Given the prices, this would be appropriate. However, it certainly doesn’t deserve 4 stars… so, there’s the ugly truth Conclusion: I’ll return… but I’ll opt for a non-deep-fried dish. The office canteen is better… but, well, everyone needs a little variety, no? So, this is a 1 – 2 times per month sort of place.

The restaurant is situated in an extremely small strip mall on Memorial Dr. and Eldridge. If you don’t keep your eyes open, you can miss it very easily. I ordered a Shredded Pork dinner special to-go a few weeks ago. The place was empty when I came to pick it up. According to their menu, I was supposed to get an eggroll and a soda for my dinner special. In retrospect, it seemed like the guy that got the food from the kitchen was inquiring about whether he should get that for me. But the flustered cashier quickly told him to go away. So… I didn’t get my eggroll and soda. I didn’t know I was supposed to receive this stuff at the time, but only learned of it when I took a look at the menu again. Anyways…whatever. The food itself was not all that great. Servings were a little small. Fried rice was super bland. I only got a couple pieces of pork, and the rest was just bell peppers and onions. I really hate places that nickel and dime you. I’ve been trying to find a go-to Chinese food restuarant near where I live(because Yantze is just too far). Looks like my search will continue. :(
