Where do I start? There is so much to say about that place. Ok, to save you time, here is my conclusion in 2 simple points: 1. Never, ever go to that place for the sake of your taste buds and your entire digestive system 2. Please get that place shut down ASAP. If you want to know more, keep reading. Start with the warm welcome of the waitress. Did I ever try to murder her? Because she really looked at me like I did. Anyway, we got our table. Get up, go pick up a plate and choose some stuff from the buffet. Lots of stuff available(I deliberately chosen NOT to use the word food, for the reasons listed below). Ready to bite and chew? Brace yourself! All disgusting to the worst imaginable. Their BBQ beef meet balls? They taste like they have rat meat.(Never tasted rat meat, but I would imagine it tastes like that). New plate, and try something else. Sushi! … Well I quickly realized this is equivalent to playing Russian roulette with my stomach, with a fully loaded magazine. Fried shrimps? You can’t go wrong with fried shrimps! Oops, sorry, you can, at Hibachi grill. I could keep going, I tried many items none worth a single bite. The least worst is the cantaloupe, providing you get a piece without the skin. They cut it so well. Desert? Yes? Really ? Boy you are fearless! And that shall be rewarded! Mango ice cream that tastes like … like … I still have not figured it out. Whatever is they put in it has never been anywhere close to a mango tree. Don’t expect any help from the guy near the deserts. Probably a former guest of the Texas department of criminal justice. The best thing I got in this place is a glass of tap water, and the bill because it means the nightmare is over. I believe the«cooks» should be put in jail. The only reason I can possibly imagine this place is still open is that every inspector coming in suffers immediate death when they try any sort of food.

Best buffet as far as Chinese food in town. Their dim sum section is a nice surprise for those who love chicken feet. Their sushi is the only buffet sushi I will eat. In fact it’s more fresh than some sushi restaurants. Not sure why we continue to pay ridiculous amounts of money for sushi and sashimi when you can come here and eat until your stomach explodes. Never had an issue with the food here. Weekends are packed weekdays is the way to go. Keep it up! We will continue to drive 45 mins just to eat here!

A popular Asian buffet in town. On holidays, there is a long wait but the place is pretty big so it’s not to bad of a wait. I like that their foods are always hot and they do a good job of refilling it. I like their selections of sushi, better than most I have tried. There is a hibachi grill that you can pick what you want and they will cook it for you. There is usually a line so I just never bother to go there and just eat the other food. They also have a wide selection of ice cream and there is a guy that scoops the ice cream for you. The price is good for the quality of food you get. My family and I frequently come here since most buffets have closed around town.

I’m voting the place with only 2 stars. There is nothing really special about this buffet. They do have a wide variety of different foods, which is good. But most were not that great or special. The sushi bar is decent. Their sashimi are cut too thick. Instead of strips of salmon or tuna… they are almost cut into cubes. If you come hungry you will be satisfied by the food. If you come to experience great tasting foods that will make your pallet happy, you will be highly disappointed. Most of the flavors are bland and watered down. Why is the food bland and watered down? Well… basically because that’s what they do! Water everything down. I witnessed this myself. When they see that the sauces in the dish start to dry up. they pour water in the trays! No wonder why everything taste so bland and foggy!!! Why would you pour water in a dish that has meatballs with BBQ sauce? Why would you pour water into a dish that has chicken with sweet n sour sauce? This is just ridiculous. The people working there are almost always seen sitting down with their face deeply entrenched in their phone. I don’t know if this is known as good customer service, i mean… I don’t really care… but at least do this out of sight of the customers. I’d come again if i was really hungry. but really is no where on top of my list of restaurants. I wouldn’t even give it a 4th or 5th thought.

It’s an average buffet. Flavors are not very impressive. My parents love going to this place because it’s a pretty decent selection for a good price.

Typical cheap buffet place. MSG and unhealthy dishes aren’t uncommon. We didn’t feel well after dining here, maybe due to cheap ingredients or oil. Not coming back ever. If you care about your health, avoid this place.

Eating here turns you into a dinosaur, they only give you a fork when you sit down so expect to chomp through anything to large for your mouth hole. I guess you could ask for a knife but I’m not that confrontational. Freshness of food requires some serious poking and examination, it’s pretty good when you something fresh and reasonably priced.

This is a better version of the typical buffets you will find around town. The majority of the buffet isn’t of very high quality, but you can’t really expect much from an all-you-can-eat buffet for less than $ 15. I normally go around and sample some of the offerings, but I generally stick to the chicken, rice, and vegetables, because the seafood doesn’t look too appealing. The sides are soupy and salty. The sushi bar is always well stocked, and you can normally get some good sashimi as well. The main highlight has to be the namesake Hibachi Grill. You can pick your protein, vegetables, and noodles and have them cook it right there in front of you. That alone is worth the price, The food comes out fresh and hot, and you can easily make a meal out of it if you put enough on the plate, or several rounds if you just keep going back there. The grill alone accounts for three stars of this rating. They also have ice cream and a fondue fountain, which are a nice touch for dessert.

Food is typical that of buffet. Good place to go in a big group. I would stay away from soupy sides and oyster sauces… MASSIVEMSG here. I like the grill and making your own Mongolian noodle and grill. On the weekends, the line is extremely long but as it is every where. The sushi is edible not premium but it is after all a buffet. Sometimes, seasonally, they would have crawfish and crab but not frequent… Cold boiled shrimp is the norm. Lastly, i dont think the people that work here get pay that much $ 2.99 per hour and survive on tip? Overheard their conversation one day. So please be nice and tip, especially you, you know who you are, the one that makes like 10 dirty dishes… LOL

Good selection. There’s no way you’re leaving here hungry. The steamed fish is delicious but those fine bones made me too nervous to eat a lot of it. The stuffed shrimp is more like a shrimp in a meatball. Overall, I’d definitely be back. Especially at $ 13 for adult & $ 8 for children 9 – 12

First off, let me be clear that I’m rating this in comparison to other buffets that I have eaten at, since not food joints are created equal. That being said, this is pretty decent for a buffet. So let’s talk about food. Do try the hibachi grill bar. Get more than what you think you need on your ingredient plate because it does cook down. I looove garlic so I always get 3 – 4 scoops as I reach the end. This is pretty much the best hot food here so take advantage of it. Also, you’ll probably have to add salt as with other buffets, they avoid seasonings in consideration of potential guests. I always get sushi and it’s been pretty consistent. Portions are small, as expected from a buffet but you can get salmon slices which is pretty amazing. Also, take full advantage of the seaweed salad. An appetizer like that costs $ 4 at your regular sushi restaurant. The edamame is quite the let down because of the water being soaked in. The fried chicken is delicious and hot when you time it right. I would come here just for that. I get the crab puffs next door and I’m in heaven. I’ve tried other things here: dimsum, beef slices, seafood, and it all just doesn’t taste that good. So I usually stick with what I wrote above. Top that off with some ice cream and you’ll probably be full by now. Service isn’t much. The hosts and hostesses are the absolute worse. They won’t greet you, say anything more than they need to, and will leave you promptly, even if you need additional items like chopsticks. The waitresses are hit and miss. Usually they clear your plates quietly and time things just right to give you your check at dessert. I did have an unusually pleasant and very sweet waitress once. I haven’t had her since but I wish the others were like her. It’s a buffet though so what do you expect. Lastly, some tips for you: 1. Do NOT come any earlier that 5pm. Why? Because they’ve just finished re-warming some of the lunch and maybe not even all of them. You’ll get cold food which is the worst. 2. Bring some cash! There are tip jars and the Hibachi grill line and sushi line. The sushi line gets especially neglected. These people work hard so give them their reward. 3. If it’s your first time, try a little bit of everything before you decide. I’m sure your tastes differ from mine so don’t be shy and pig out. I come here about once every two months and it’s the only buffet I go to. That means they’re doing something right, right?

This is a really good Asian buffet in Houston. Ideally located especially for the Interstate 10 traveler with ample parking and a calming ambiance. The buffet selection is quite extensive and ranges from fresh shushi to an Hibachi Grill! Myself, I head straight for the sushi with the addition of oshinko and the ginger. Yum yum!

This is one of the best Chinese buffets I’ve ever been to. In fact, it’s the only one I would dare take my taiwanese girlfriend to because they have some really authentic and good food. This restaurant is very clean and well-maintained. The food is stocked quickly and plentifully. It almost doesn’t seem like a buffet because of the quality of the food. Highly recommend this place.

For $ 16 you can eat dinner and have a drink(soda or tea). Do not expect high end meals for this price, but it is pretty decent if you take in to account the options available and the price you pay. Sushi is not too bad — it has some rolls, nigiri and sashimi. I would go for the normal chinese dishes such as orange chicken, fried rice, noodles et al. Dim sum and the wok section are not their strongest points, either, but you can give it a shot. Try their seafood, fruit bar and ice cream. There’s nothing very special about it, but the variety is what caught my attention. So what did I find interesting about this place? You can get to try a lot of different food for about the same price of a regular meal in another chinese restaurant nearby. And if you don’t like a dish, just move on to the next one; nobody will judge you for that!

I came here for the lunch buffet with a friend on a weekday. I was actually pretty surprised by the quality of the food here. There was a wide variety of options, including dim sum, seafood, and other assorted Chinese foods. My personal favorites were the hibachi rice and the sashimi. The rice was really fragrant and tasty. I wasn’t expecting a high quality from the sashimi, but I was happily surprised. As for the hibachi grill, there were numerous options of meats, but some of them were still partially frozen such as the chicken breast. For only about $ 10 for the lunch buffet, you can have a pretty nice meal with numerous options! Anytime I am in the area, I will be sure to make a visit.

Hibachi, sushi, dim sum, and a chocolate fountain at a Chinese buffet? Sounds like a dream come true! My family rolled in this joint on Christmas around 1 in the afternoon, and the restaurant was packed. It’s so good to know a gazillion other Chinese families also celebrate Christmas at a buffet. We were seated away. Our waitress took our drink orders, and we made our way to the buffet. I went straight to the hibachi. Pick your ingredients, stick them all on a plate, hand them to one of the two chefs, and wait. I waited about 10 minutes because there was a line. Hibachi is popular here. I had a shrimp noodle dish. It didn’t taste that good because I didn’t put enough sauce on it before I handed it to the chef. My sister(who frequents this restaurant) put a ton of sauce on hers, so her dish was good. Then I hit the buffet. They have a lot of choices: authentic Chinese dishes, Americanized Chinese food(what you would order for Chinese takeout), fried Chinese and American food, soups, and fruit. I loved the popcorn shrimp and orange chicken. Dim sum went so quickly! My sister and I had to take turns checking on pork and shrimp shumai because once they were set down, they were gone 10 seconds later. Sushi was decent, not terrible or great. They have average rolls: California, salmon, tuna, and others. They also have nigiri and sashimi. Salmon sashimi was fresh! I did not visit the dessert table or chocolate fountain because I was feeling pretty stuffed after four plates of food. My brother and brother in law complained that utensils area was dirty near the ice cream machine, so I didn’t get ice cream. My sister brought delectables from the chocolate fountain. It was good. For Mother’s Day, I tried to get my family to go to this buffet, but they refused. Apparently, Mother’s Day is a classier holiday than Christmas(i.e., not a holiday you’d go to a buffet for). Hopefully, my family comes back next Christmas because this restaurant ranks high in my books for Houston Chinese buffets.

I am 100% sure I made a review about And stayed within TOS. I do not understand why Unilocal deletes these sometimes. Great food Decent service Fair price Stagnant face waitresses. At least you get service. Large selection Right off of I 10 This used to be a large review so I condensed it maybe. Maybe Unilocal doesn’t like large detailed reviews and deleted it.
