McDonald’s

I used to come here all the time but it’s been awhile. Not going back!
It took over 10 minutes to get the food and they had 8 people working.
The dining room and bathroom were filthy.
Fries cold, tea tasted off. How can you screw up tea?
Most of the people working there just chatted with each other. Mostly Spanish spoken behind the counter.
Gross food, gross dining room, gross bathroom.

Worst McDonald’s if you’re looking to get FAST food. The drive thru is slow as hell at 11 PM. Sadly I won’t be returning. 20 minutes for a 10 piece nugget.

I have probably been going to McDonald’s for 50 years or so. Always has been pretty reliable fast food. The fries are legend, and my favorite burger is the Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese. Now, the food is nothing spectacular, and I know of places that do much better burgers.
That said, this particular McDonalds has always given us good service, and gets our orders right, as well. If you happen by this location, say «Hola» to Franklin: he’s a very pleasant guy.
Now, the burgers are good, and pretty simple: a burger patty, a few heated onions, and a pickle or too. Nothing fancy, but pretty decent. I crave a DQP every once in a while, and will stop at Mickey D’s to get one. Not real crazy ’bout their breakfasts: all the food tastes pretty fatty.
But as an institution, it has stood the test of time. I *do* think, however, they may need to rethink and revamp their brand and their food. People’s tastes have changed a lot over the last 50 years, and McDonalds really hasn’t.

Ice Cream machine NEVER works. It’s always «out of order». Not sure if they just don’t feel like fixing it or it’s just not a money-​maker and they don’t care, but I’ve been there for a cone about 10 times in the past 6 months and it was working about 2 times.

Don’t understand how it ALWAYS takes at least 10 minutes to order only a drink when there is ONE person in line in front of you inside. Biggest hot mess ever. Please avoid at all costs. You will regret wasting your time here.

It is 11:35 at night and the drive thru is waaaaay too slow! I’ve been in line with one truck in front of me for the past 7 minutes. What is really going on?

This by far has been my worst experience. My order was wrong and when I asked for it to be corrected the female at the window could not speak enough English to help me. I asked for a manager and she was worst rude and very poor understanding of how to listen to the customer.

Very very horrible customer service! Yesterday before going to work I stopped my this McDonalds to simply get something to eat. As I pull up to the speaker to place my order, an employee rudely says, «what are u gonna order»! I was appalled! After ordering I go to the next window and the man is still so rude and gave so much attitude, I asked for his name. Come to find out his name is Andres and he’s a manager there. This is shocking considering when I visited this location in the past I’ve had much better experiences as a customer from other employees. Just another arrogant person who’s extremely rude to patrons! I will never ever return again, you will never get anymore of my money, and I will be calling corporate and tell everyone I know not to eat there! #bloop #bye

Check your order if you drive thru. I got all the way home (by the Zoo) and they shorted me a small fry. Shame on me for putting any faith in the workers there.

1990’s style McDonald’s with the indoor play place in front. Most business is drive through so dining room is quiet and an easy place to catch up on emails, especially in the play place. No fountain station, but friendly staff is always willing to give you a refill. Morning drive through team is fast and very courteous. Be sure to check out the fancy nails of the drive through order taker. She makes your morning brighter for sure.

Cheap, fast, easy. Healthy…
I mostly go for the $ 1 drinks.
Kids love it.
For better or worse it is a part of America.

What can I say, it McDonalds…

Weird seating and counter setup. Also, for this place to be where it is, it is VERY scary at night! The people and the staff look so out of place here. That’s all I’m going to say and I will only use the drive thru at this location, if I ever I venture here, again.

Such a friendly McDonalds… what a surprise! The parking at this location is more limited than others it seems, and the drive through line gets long and blocks the parking. Other than that… It’s hard to say much about a MickyD’s since the staff turns over every month it seems and the food is pretty much the same at all of them. So take this review for what it is… based on 1 experience!

I’ve only been here twice; once for breakfast and once for lunch — both times were on a weekend /​in the drive thru. I choose service over anything, thus, I won’t be coming here ever again!
I think overall this is one of the WORST McDonalds I’ve ever come to. I’ve only gone through the Drive Thru. There’s nothing but downers/​non-​sincere types working here. Ironically, this is in one of the best neighborhoods in Houston.

This location has (2) windows but over the weekend I understood that the first window was closed, a woman popped out to flag me after I’d pulled up closer to the first window. Did she think I was going to get out of my car for her craziness? No way, I pulled up to the second window and was treated like crap. Both times I’ve come here there is no human interaction — no hellos, thank you’s, or goodbyes. The food here tastes like garbage. Why so muddled up, McDonalds?

McDonald’s is my least favorite fast food restaurant. Actually Whataburger and Jack In The Box tie it, if not beat it. That said, this one isn’t that bad if you are hungry like no other.

I know, writing a review for McD’s is pointless … however, I’ve lived ITL for — two, three, four, five? — years and never knew this location existed. I nearly slammed my GD breaks when I spotted those glorious golden arches from the freeway.
All this time I’d either trek out to the Main @ 45 or the scary-​but-​full-​of-​street-​cred Midtown location because I also so happen to always forget about the one in The ‘Trose. Man, I need to download the McDonald’s iPhone app so that I can keep track of ‘em all.
Health nuts out there: They’ve now got breakfast oatmeal, the sugar-​free iced coffees ain’t so bad. But don’t forget to order some warm apple pie. Oh, and long live the Filet O’ Fish.

Favorite fast food joint hands down! I go to this one because it’s the closest to my house. Every time I pull up to the drive thru I have this debate with my self– Fish Filet or Cheeseburger. The cheeseburger always wins. You just can’t beat the 2 cheeseburger meal with fries. Although, this location is very sporadic at times. It closes earlier than it’s supposed to! And their ice cream machine is always broken– which makes me peel out of there shouting four letter words.
