Charged me for adult portions for two kids burger combos, then when I highlighted the mistake they charged me for two kids drinks — the third bill was correct. Scam …

Absolutely terrible. I’ve never had such a bad restaurant experience. The food was incredibly overpriced. $ 20 for a fajita plate is ridiculous when half the plate is onion and you’re struggling to find the actual fajitas. The«mesquite» burger was obviously a frozen patty and very thin. You definitely can’t call it a mesquite flavor either. $ 1.25 for a slice of cheese and $ 1.95 for bacon on top. Not worth it at all. Cashier seemed pretty clueless as she told us that all beer was on happy hour but nothing else. Even though the sign said to go in for«happy hour on small bites». And somehow the beer was still $ 4 a bottle. Later, when I tried to ask about more detail on the happy hour, no one was at the desk. The restaurant was completely empty but they still didn’t have anyone to serve us or answer any questions. If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. Never going back.

Been going to Goode Co for many years so it’s tough rating a 3. Food is awesome let’s just say that. But the value has declined. Prices are just too high for now what it is, a counter service casual restaurant. Burger and fries are great anytime, lunch or dinner. Weekend breakfast menu is good stuff. My favorite are the pecan waffles. For dessert don’t forget to get a slice of their famous pecan pie. For a lighter sweet treat, the chocolate cinnamon shake is really good. It comes from a soft serve machine. Don’t knock it till you try it. Bottom line is food is tasty, just don’t expect taqueria prices.

Great late brunch /early lunch place on Sunday. I had«The Hunter» eggs with carne sauce, hash browns and Texas toast– yum! Husband had pecan waffles(2) and sausage — a lot of good food. The kid had chicken tenders and fries — he loved it. The Rita(yes for brunch on Sunday!) was good and Hutu y had a Bloody Mary — no complaints. $ 38 for 3 with 2 drinks — a good deal!

The food was excellent and fresh. Definitely order the waffles. I tried them and OMG – best waffles ever! I ordered the huevos nopalitos which was legit. The tortillas were homemade, beans were fresh, not canned, and a fresh salsa bar for the fixins. The price was a little high considering the type of food and usually a taqueria is inexpensive, but this restaurant is well worth it. It is definitely a spot for a morning brunch, especially if you are visiting the museum district.
