The service was alright. They messed up on my order when they gave us our check. Never coming back here again

UPDATE: I originally had posted a bad review because of bad service. But the manager Antonio reached out to me to welcome me back and show me that the service has improved. And indeed… The service was AMAZING. I’ve never had such a good experience here until today. I’m beyond happy. The vibe in the restaurant was awesome. Food came out very fast & our waitress Araceli… Is the best waitress I’ve had here. Not only was she very nice but she came back to the table several times to make sure we were okay. We tipped her very good and will definitely be back again. Hopefully if she is there. She did not know that we had bad service the last time we were here. So the fact that she gave us excellent service regardless. Really made me happy. Im happy that the manager invited us back. really meant a lot! I respect that. I drove an hour to come here to eat. And I’m glad I did. I recommend! The service has gotten a lot better!

I got the mango rita and the whole drum catfish! OMG delicious

Visited the restaurant with my wife the past week, the food was good and service was friendly and speedy. Ordered a regular combination ceviche, a #4 and a large combo rice, way more than enough for two of us plus the lunch the day after.
Here is my complaint: The bill came out to be a tad less than $ 30 and we tipped $ 5 on the credit card receipt, just checked the credit card statement and some crooked employee added a «1» in front of it and the tip amount becomes $ 15. As good and as a famous restaurant like Mambo’s…I thought you guys should be better than this. I am calling my credit card company to get my money back.
Would have gave a four or a five star but due to the incident, you deserve a big fat one star. (I would have gave zero star if I could)

Pretty good food. I ordered the fish and shrimp. The rice was delicious. The mango margarita was great as well and only $ 4. Pretty good.

Went there for the first time during my vacation. Food was very good, we had the family style meal. Nice deck area to enjoy time with family.

I’m giving this place full just because of the food here is awesome and the gal serving us, was great. I had some fun and great time here. Food quality is good and cleanliness is good. I love outside seating. Feels relaxing and casual.

Given the fact that it is Lent, I went to this Mambo location this past Friday. I needed something quick since I was picking up a to-​go order to take it back to work.
I ended up ordering the ceviche/​shrimp combination cocktail. I really liked the shrimp and it went very well with the spiciness of the sauce however the fish was a true disappointment. The fish didn’t taste like other ceviches I have tried in the past; it was extremely fishy in taste. I only ate the shrimp and threw away the fish. If I return, I will only order the shrimp cocktail.

Food was good but the server were horrible. They dun smile, at all. Been here few times all ready but still can’t be satisfied with the service. The girl here are not friendly at all.

Always Loud!!! Spanish music blasting and loud peeps… but the food here is amazing. Delicious Seafood!!! I eat the #1 which is fried rice, shrimps and fish. They also sell awesome michelada. Everything is dirt cheap here…

The food is good but service is terrible you sit yourself and they take forever to come to the table to get my drink order and not to mention the wait for my drinks was long as well I would go back but it would have to be at a better location

Good quick fried (almost everything is) seafood — I definitely prefer the fried rice over the French fries. A star removed for the noise. The room is loud anyway but the background music they play will drown out any conversation you plan unless the person is sat immediately next to you — very loud and often relentless! Still, the foods good enough for us to return on a regular basis — just don’t plan to hold a meeting over lunch!

This is a location that I frequent often because it’s so close to home. The food is always good and for the most part there is always plently of staff members to flag down if your in need of something. The michladas are a must if you stop by this location!

Must tries:
Combination ceviche (Shrimp and Fish), its very fresh and good amounts of lemon
Shrimp fried riced is a must and they give you a bunch!
Grilled Tilapia: By the pound, which is about 2 pieces and its was really flavorful. We ordered it spicy.

Great authentic Mexican seafood!!! I’ve been coming here for years.
The thing I love most is their fried rice! It is unlike any other place I’ve been to. The food is cheap and comes out fast. Don’t be intimidated by the line to wait to get a table. You can generally get a table rather quickly.

We requested to be seated outside but the servers are all inside i can only see one server outside after 5mins we decided to be seated indoor & told the receptionist that we rather be seated indoor to avoid delay of orders .

Yumminess. Best shrimp cocktail. Delicious rice. Mangoritas are good but do not have a lot of alcohol. Grilled basa fillet is really good. Grilled bacon wrapped cheese filled shrimp are GOOD.

I enjoyed my shrimp soup, but I mostly enjoyed my CHAMOYRITA. The chamoyrita is a must try if you like spicy flavors and enjoy margaritas.
The service was good and the establishment was clean.

Mambo always hits the spot — whether I’m craving for it or not! It’s usually really packed; even on weekdays & I can definitely see why.
— #10 (⁴⁄₅): 6 pieces of fried shrimp with a stuffed crab! The shrimps aren’t the best I’ve had, but it’s pretty darn good. I only received 5 pieces of shrimp & a shrimp TAIL. Someone probably took a bite, but ehh. I don’t blame them. The stuffed crab is YUM & I love to dip it in their tartare sauce! The best part was the amazing shrimp fried rice. Dash it with a couple drops of hot sauce & a squeeze of lime — your pallet will thank ya!
— #4 (⁴⁄₅): 15 pieces of fried shrimp for $ 8.99 with fries or mambo rice?! It’s such a good deal. I was so close in ordering this but, the stuffed crab really won me over.
— Mambo Cheladas (⁵⁄₅): Simply one of the best! Just the right amount of spice with that salted rim & the really cold mug makes it all the more refreshing.
— Shrimp Seafood Cocktail (⁴⁄₅): So cold to the point where a few shrimps were frozen! But the flavors were really good. I like to put it on top of the saltine crackers with a few drops of tabasco.
Now, I’m just really craving for more.

Excellent lunch specials! Really cheap and really fresh food! I love this place. I always get the #1 2 piece fish and 3 shrimp. it’s always so hit and fresh. Not many good places to eat in the greenspoint area but this is a must stop if you work in the area.
