I came for their grand opening today (9÷1÷15) because of a promo they were running where the first 25 customers would get free gift cards.
For those who don’t know, Madewell is J. Crew’s «younger sister» line, with similarly styled clothes but in more youthful colors/​patterns and cuts. A big plus also is the slightly more affordable prices (and don’t forget the 15% student discount!).
They pulled in extra girls from the Galleria location to help out on opening day, which is such a smart plan. There didn’t seem to be a sale section, but that’s likely because it just opened. Everyone working was so nice and one girl even offered to stash away my large prep book (which I was studying with while waiting in line) by the front so I could shop more comfortably. It’s impeccable customer service like this that makes me love Madewell!
