Very disappointed that a delicious lunch with friends was ruined by a live roach crawling next to my chair and purse. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to bring myself to eat there again.

This place is perfect for date night. The food is exquisite, and the portions are definitely on the larger side. The bartender Hanaya is amazing! Definitely try their fettuccine Alfredo and tiramisu, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic location and food! Really pleased with this choice and the service. I felt like I was eating with family friends as opposed to dining in at a restaurant. As stated above the location is remarkable and adds to the experience of the food and drinks. Next time I’m in town I will definitely return!

My husband and I split the pistachio-crusted chicken, which was fantastic and more than enough food for the two of us. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate eruption. My husband said it was the best chocolate dessert he’s ever had. The ambiance is very enjoyable. It was a nice all-around experience. I deducted a star for two reasons: 1) The waiter was not knowledgeable about wine. He offered to go read the«specifications» and come back to us with recommendations, which we appreciated, but we asked if we could speak to someone who was more familiar with their wines. The manager came to our table and gave us a good, reasonable recommendation for a bottle. 2) We split a large house salad, and it was soggy(probably from the artichoke) and not very flavorful.

Lovely location! I definitely recommend sitting on the patio if you can! This was my first visit and I had a great experience. This seems to be a very popular spot for business lunches in the Energy Corridor. Service was good and the food was delicious. The house salad was a nice surprise as it had just enough artichoke heart to give it flavor without overpowering the other flavors. My colleagues and I all ordered the special of the day, soft shell crab with angel hair pasta. It was enough food to feel full without reducing afternoon energy levels. On my next visit, I’ll enjoy a cappuccino at the end of the meal to round out the experience.

Been coming for 30 years. Our favorite go-to Italian place. Ravioli Dulce and Catfish Picante are great!

I am a fan of this hidden gem on the Westside. Food was pretty good and atmosphere was cozy. Not super fancy but just nice :)! Perfect date spot on this side of town ! Very friendly and professional service and the cannelloni florentine was YUM. Just realized they have live music so I may check that out. All the restaurants hidden on this backside near highway 6 are cute, and I’ve been wanting to try this place a little bit so I’m happy I had the opportunity too. I’m a fan of this place. Enjoy !

Top notch! I’ve only been for lunch but I imagine it’s great for dinner as well. I got so excited that I forgot to take pics(I need to do better). They have great rich pastas and homemade soups. And the desserts are amazing. This place gets crowded during lunch so get there early.

The atmosphere and service were great. This restaurant was a cute little gem and we were very impressed. We both ordered the Carolina pasta and it was delicious. I was too greedy to take pictures but know this, I cleaned the plate. Out waiter was friendly and attentive. The décor was old Italian and it was very cute. This would make a great romantic date spot. I would definitely come back

Overall thumbs up! We visited on a Wed evening about 8ish. Parking was easy we were able to park right in front. We were looking for a nice dinner place for 4 adults. We were welcomed with a warm welcome and had our choice of seating. There were a few other patrons but not over crowded. The establishment is not very big and was not loud, it is very quaint. We were able to have a conversation at a normal tone. We started with calamari and Sauté Sea Scallops, which were very good. We also had a bottle of the house red wine that was recommend by our waiter. Good selection. I had the Red Snapper wrapped in Angel Hair pasta, lightly fried and covered with hearts of artichokes cream sauce. Another dish at the table was the prawns and pasta in a lemon olive oil. The last dish was a shrimp bisque and pasta. All of our meals were excellent. We had a second bottle of wine and enjoyed each other’s company. Due to not picking up the bill I have to ball park the bill. I’m estimating about $ 200 before tax. We had a great time was not rushed and closed the restaurant. We were the last to leaver.

This was mine and my finances first time at Lomontes and it did not disappoint! We decided to be seated in the bar area so that we could enjoy the live music and were instantly greeted by our awesome waitress. I wish I remembered her name but regardless she was great. Extremely personable, accommodating and very observant. I had the pasta Lomonte and it was delicious, my fiancé had the pistachio crusted Chicken and it was also very good. Extremely flavorful and you can tell the ingredients are thought out. As an added bonus they have great happy hour specials and a few craft beers on tap, as well as a great wine selection. I think the man who was playing the live music was named Henry and he was great! Really enjoyed Lomontes and will definitely be returning!

Pay no mind to the naysayers! Our first visit to Lomonte’s was absolutely delightful! Came here on a time crunch and they were able to get us out at a reasonable time and the food was absolutely delicious! We sat outside and enjoyed the peace and quiet, cool evening(since it had just rained). Our waiter was an older gentleman who was very attentive and polite(also, he may have been the owner and had an accent so proper attention is needed to communicate well with him, and we had no problem with doing so). We got hot, fresh from the oven complimentary bread with a whipped butter. I chose the farfalle primavera which had a delicate olive oil garlic butter sauce and lots of fresh vegetables; broccoli, artichoke, tomato, bell peppers and mushrooms. My mother got the farfalle Lomonte which was similar but had spinach instead of broccoli and had grilled chicken breast. We both got and loved the house salad, light dressing, perfect amount of cheese, thinly sliced purple onion and artichoke! The only thing we were upset about was the lack of room in our bellies and time for dessert, so we will definitely be back! I will suggest though, that they have their landscaper plant some rosemary and citronella to prevent Mosquitos from bugging.

I’ve been here 2 times and both were mediocre. The first time I came here with my boyfriend and we split the salmon pesto entrée with pasta side. We each got to choose our pasta toppings so that was nice. I chose the olive oil and garlic and it was superb. We also had the escargot, which was in a pesto sauce and very yummy. but also very rich. The second time I came here I opted for something cheaper and got the angel hair pasta marinara. It was good, but the noodles were definitely not made in-house. This place is decent but definitely overpriced. The service was mediocre as well. I’ve never had their desserts but the Italian cream cake looks awesome. This isn’t my top pick in the energy corridor, but I’d come back if an occasion called for it.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight… The restaurant looks nice but I have 2 things to say: 1 — over priced 2 — no flavor(not even salt)

I really wanted to like this place, but it just didn’t meet my expectations. The restaurant is a cute little house and the décor is nice. The lady who showed us to our table(possibly the owner) was very nice and explained the menu(for example, we could order the lunch portion even though it was dinner time). Our server was this nice older Italian gentleman. Though he was nice, he couldn’t follow directions well and was pretty slow. He asked us if we wanted wine, and we said we would wait and look over the wine list. He then took our glasses away as if we were not going to order any wine at all. Needless to say, it was annoying when we were ready to order wine and he had to bring the glasses back out. When we received our check, we wrote our last names and credit card type on the receipt. He asked us if we wanted to split it, and we said we didn’t want to split it evenly, but we wrote down our totals. Tell me why the check was split three ways when he brought it back to us after we told him we wrote the totals on the check? It drives me crazy when people can’t follow simple directions. As for the food: The toasted ravioli was pretty good. I’m not from the Midwest so I don’t really see what the big deal is about this dish, but my friend who is from St. Louis said it tasted pretty authentic. The house salad had too much Parmesan cheese. The dressing isn’t bad, but if you don’t like vinegar, I’d recommend you not order the salad. I ordered the salmon with angel hair pasta. The lemon butter garlic sauce was good and there was just enough that it didn’t over saturate the dish. The salmon however was just okay. For a restaurant such as this, I was expecting better. I don’t know how to describe it, but it just didn’t taste as good as I thought it would. I only ate half of it because the quality of it was sub par. I think if I ever go back here(unlikely), I will try a chicken or vegetarian dish. My friend(St. Louis) ordered chicken Parmesan and said it was pretty good. I think ordering a different dish and having a different server would have made this experience much more enjoyable.
