It taste better than KFC or Popeyes, found out about this place from my husband’s co worker and now we prefer to get Frenchy’s than KFC, the last time we went to KFC at Southmore right on lunch time, and we ordered the same family menu $ 19 get 8 chickens and my husband mentioned he wanted all dark meat, and the employee said they were out of dark meat and we only can have a few dark meat and the rest had to be white meat, and with Frenchy’s they always give us all dark meat with no problem. So here our new favorite fried chicken place from now on.

I like Frenchy’s Chicken. When this one opened by my home I was and still very happy with it. I have not had any problems. Unlike KFC they always have chicken. I hate going to a chicken place and them tell me sorry we don’t have what you want. Getting an order together sometimes takes a little long, but that is beacuse alot of people go there. My company always send one person with a ton of individual orders and they never give a problem. The food is aways hot and fresh. I will definitely eat there again and again.

I was in line I was the first one in line. there were only two ladies working. A women came to the register and asked the women behind me what could she get for her. I was just ignored it was really sucky, I was standing right there in front of the line. on the other note, I like the chicken alot, its really good.

I wasn’t sure about this place because of the rating on Unilocal, but I’m glad I tried it. They cooked my chicken fresh and it had really good spice to it and was juicy. The fries were good too, but that biscuit… Damn so good… The staff was very friendly. Sure the floor was a little dirty but I don’t care, the food is worth it

I’ve been here a few times and for starters, if you don’t feel like driving to the original location off of Scott this one will do. To me, this location is not as good the Scott St. location and it’s sort of hit and miss but the taste and flavor is still there. One visit the chicken was hot and the other time it didn’t seem so fresh. I can say that the employess are SUPER friendly here and the service is fast. Good daily specials also! A few stars off because the lobby/dining area is dirty and as the saying goes«cleanliness is next to Godliness».

I really like their chicken. I wanted to like the jambalaya but not for me. The chicken can be hit and miss but when it’s on, it’s great. The only sides I can recommend are the fries. Sausage is ok. The service blows and has since opening. They lose orders, serve people out of order etc. Ordering in prime time gets you better chicken, but slow. Sometimes it’s fun to watch the confusion behind the counter. I’m mean fry the bird, box the bird, scoop the fries, bag the fries. It’s not rocket surgery. The Fuqua location has dirty floors that may be slick and you might have to bus your own table but the chicken is really pretty good.

Only three stars because it’s not convenient!!! No drive thru! No cakes! Long lines!!! No pies! But other than that the chicken is good, the fries good. I always get a king special with a red soda and sweet potato pie. But I was pie-less at this location. But they do have deals and specials the other frenchys don’t have.

I was always told about the hype of this place, especially since I used to go to UH but never had a chance when I was still in school. So when I heard they opened a location near me, I got excited. The chicken was fresh and juicy and the skin was crispy and flavorful. My only complaint was it was entirely way to salty for my taste and the Cajun rice was a little undercooked.

Let’s start by saying that Frenchy’s is the best chicken around and second to none in my opinion. The only problem is the place is pretty dirty. If it was clean it would get five stars.

I came here with the family last night – my dad mentioned that there was a new Frenchy’s Chicken in the area right behind Whataburger. I didn’t get to taste the chicken just yet because this place was packed. There was people sitting on chairs on the walls and there was a long line. That’s the reason I gave them only 3 stars. This location is very new and its right next door to Y Beauty – the parking lot got really full real quick. The prices do seem pretty cheap too.
