Not good! Didn’t give me what I ordered, what I received didn’t taste good. The waiter never came back to my table one time. I tried to tell the manager so he could fix it he did not care. I told him I was going to put this rating on Unilocal he told me he didn’t care if I gave him a zero stars it doesn’t matter to him.

Absolutely loved the food. Very authentic. The only two items that I would not order again are the fried pork chops(room temperature at best and very greasy) and chicken salad(very salty). Be aware, the wait can be very long. You sign in and wait to be called.

Service here is terrible, but lucky for them, the food makes up for the horrible service. We usually come during lunch time, and its almost always packed here! Definitely recommend the two lobster dishes here! It’s probably the best Chinese cuisine of lobster you will ever taste! They don’t skim out on the portion and the flavor is seasoned great! Same goes for the Fried Shisamo(Fried small whole fish). Another great dish they have is the stir fry lotus roots! They run out of that one pretty fast though(by the time its 1pm, they will have run out of it, which sucks cause its my fave dish…) The overall pricing for lunch isn’t expensive, so I encourage you to come during lunchtime. Portion size, i believe it is the same, but it’s much more expensive to eat here during dinner then lunchtime. Definitely a must try if you enjoy Chinese cuisine!(ignore the service though and you’ll definitely enjoy yourself here).

2016: 2 out 100 I’ve been coming here now and then but never gotten around to reviewing it. The lunch special is no longer on the weekends, unfortunately. Come here for cheap lobster specials! Only restaurant I know that will do the ginger lobsters for cheap. I have only gone for lunch specials and the portions are great and the price is even better. Service is what you can expect from any Chinese restaurant, not great but not bad. Weekends still get crazy packed but since they moved the lunch special to weekdays only, it is never pack when I go.

One of the best and authentic Chinese restaurants in the Houston area. The fresh seafood is a must try, especially the lobster. We have liked/loved 90% of the dishes we have ordered. The place is moderately sized, so expect a wait during meal time(we average 15 – 30 min). The waitstaff is pretty nice and efficient. Keep in mind, they bring out dishes as they are done. So do not expect dishes to arrive at the same time. Highly recommended. It’s our go to family dinner spot when we get together.

The food was really good. We ordered lobster, half a duck, and soup. The lobster was delicious, and the duck was well seasoned. The vegetables were delicious too. The bad part is that there is a long line to the restaurant during lunch hour. We got there at 1pm and didn’t get seated until 2pm. I did notice that the people who arrived at 3pm got seated immediately though, so if you don’t like to wait, come at 3pm to eat lunch.

We want to try some nonspicy food. Our friend recommend this one. Because they are always crow and long waiting line. Busy means more fresh. We ordered 8dishes: 1: lobster 3⁄5 too sweat 2: Beijing duck 2⁄5 they didn’t peel the skin, just cut the duck, and the cucumber not get together with the duck, 10 min later after we were almost done. 3:Crab meat soup: 2⁄5 this is the no.2 worst one. 4. Chili source fish: 3⁄5 the meat has a little bit hard. 5. Marinated jelly-fish: 3⁄5 very sweat. 6. chicken feet: 2⁄5 sweat chicken feet 7.Garlic snowpea leaves: 5⁄5 wonderful! 8. fri king(I can’t remember the name): 1⁄5 Yuck!

We had reserved 4 large tables(30 – 35 people) for a party maybe about a month ago and the owner was really nice. He pulled out his calendar and marked the date down without any hesitation. We even asked him if he needed a deposit of any kind and he said no, don’t worry about it. So the day came and we got to the restaurant and they had our tables ready on time. I gave the owner a list of 10 dishes we wanted to order for each table and he quickly and happily brought the list over to one of the servers. They looked it over and came to me to confirm the portions and dishes. She was really nice and helpful! Once everyone was here, they started bringing out the food and it was pretty quick. The food was delicious as always and we had so much left over from each table. Every one was stuffed and had left overs to go. Also, we brought in two large cakes from six ping and I asked her to put it in the frig for us until after dinner. She happily did it and brought it out after we were done with dinner. She also brought out a real knife, small plastic plates, and plastic forks. Love their service here! Overall, the owner and waiters were super nice, quick, helpful, and just awesome! Their food is delicious and the service was really fast. They make my family and I feel so comfortable because they are friendly and never complain when you ask for something. This is the kind of service that makes me too more than the minimum!!! I will always continue to come here when we crave their food!

I had heard enough about this restaurant and decided to give it a shot today with someone. First impressions, the place itself appears to be classy and fancy on the inside, with traditional Chinese paintings, thick columns and bright lights with traditional Chinese art decorated designs around the walls. The lighting, definitely gives a good ambiance, not too bright and not too dark. The place is so popular, that we had to wait for a few minutes to be seated, but the waitresses were punctual about the wait times, and were friendly enough to allow us read the menu while we wait and check out the restaurant. The waiter service here is great, efficient and they are definitely helpful. All the items are bilingual, and the waiter was definitely helpful in explaining the parts we don’t understand to help us make our choices. And, yes, the food arrived piping hot too, fresh, and I could tell nothing was heated in the microwave or frozen before. We ordered the lobster for the sake of the name of the restaurant with«seafood» in it, and we were even given the choice the flavor to be cooked in. The lobster, obviously, is as good of the taste as it sounds, although I feel odd that they didn’t offer any utensils to cut the hard shells or extra wet napkins to wipe our hands with. Other than that, the other two dishes we ordered, the beef in the claypot and the stir fry were as good as they sound in their names. The only odd thing I found in the restaurant, is that it is located next to Fiesta in the Sharpstown area, which is hard to notice if one does not know or heard about the restaurant, as a matter of fact I coudn’t even found the menu anywhere on their website, which is poorly designed. Given the quality of the food, I am sure with more publcity on the site, they would definitely need a bigger space to accomodate all the people!

Well I didn’t think I would ever go to this place no matter how much I wanted to go. Every time we tried there was always an invincible line. I know this probably means the food is good but I can’t convince my husband to stay in a long line while he was hungry. So the resolution was to have a group dinner here. You can’t just bail out since you have made a commitment. Glad we did. Food wise, the lobster special that every table has is great. I guess the price of $ 18.99 for two lobsters(first order only, has to be ordered with two other dishes) really attract people. So far I only had the butter and black pepper flavor twice and both times the quality was consistent. We ordered a recommended beef dish and it was good not super great. Stir fried veggies were good. Very solid skill. I wouldn’t go for the crab rice in lotus leaf. The dish looks fancy and tastes good enough but not worth the price. If I were to eat a huge crab I would go for other ways of cooking. Overall the restaurant deserves the popularity and it’s worth trying. Just don’t order orange chicken or Mongolian beef. I seriously will never be able to tell you how these dishes taste in any restaurants.

I’ve been here multiple times with family and it’s always crowded, so I suggest you show up early if you have a large party. You also need to be really alert if you’re next up on the sign in sheet and make sure you let them know who you are because you don’t want them to pass you up while you’re waiting outside. I went with a group of 6 and we had the peking duck, fish maw soup, fried squid, fried porkchops, abalone and tofu, lobster on noodles, and snow pea leaves. Everything was really good, especially the abalone and tofu. I’m not sure if this is on the menu because my friends always specifically ask for it without pointing it out on the menu. So, I’m not sure, but it is a must try. The service was good, but I know it can be frustrating when the restaurant is really busy. However, the food is great and my family always comes back!

Had a party of 6 and had to call ahead and get reservations. Extremely plain restaurant, only a typical fishtank that welcomes the customers. A bunch of small fans on the ceiling while the tables are so close together there’s only enough room for people to sit comfortably. They have fish tanks in the back so you can get fresh seafood like lobster and shrimp… also fish but I wouldnt be able to tell you what kind lol. We had an awesome waitress. ONLY reason why I’m giving this place a 3*! Ms Dung was very thoughtful and extremely attentive. She was so sweet on helping us with what to order. We got 2 lobsters. I’m not sure what it was but the batter was so sticky. it was disgusting. I wanted to barf eating it… Maybe they were rushing since we were there when it was extremely busy. We also had the salted fish fried rice… it was okay. Decent enough to eat but nothing memorable. The steam jade tofu w/king mushrooms was my favorite dish. Who knows why… Probably the texture or it could have been the wonderful flavor from the mushroom. Beef ribs w/special sauce… Ehhhhhh. It was a sweet and tangy taste… I would rather go get Korean BBQ for this. Totally wasn’t worth it. Leek Stir-Fried Fish Fillet in XO Sauce. Probably was my third favorite dish by default. Nothing memorable. The leek was different from the one I usually have since my dad also have this in his backyard LOL Typical asian ;P But the leek was more round. Then we had a seasonal shrimp dish… They were fat shrimps compared to the regular shrimps… Reminded me of crawfish but not as much flavor… Chewy. 2nd favorite dish because I was so indifferent to it lol. Overall. Unmemorable. Excellent Service courtesy to Ms Dung. But other then that… Never will I ever be returning.

Yummy delicious Cantonese restaurant with authentic dishes, very old restaurant with really dated decors but their food was pretty darn good, we ordered the beef rice noodle, fried pork chop, lobster special(2 for $ 18.99) and seafood fried noodles, big portions and pretty cheap for the lobster dish that’s made with green onions and scallions… heard they got pretty cheap lunch specials so I be sure to come check it out

I came with a group of 4. It was pretty busy, but lucky for us we got a table right away and didn’t have to wait. I’ve heard about this place from many people and they rave about the lobsters being cheap and really yummy so I came here for that sole purpose. The service was very attentive. Our server was Dung and she was so friendly and recommended so many yummy dishes. She took care of us so well and I was really surprised because it was very busy and she came to change our plates when she saw that it was filling up with debris and refilled our drinks quickly. We didn’t have to wait or chase after her. Very good service! Probably the best I’ve received in the bellaire area! FRIEDFLATRICENOODLEWITHBEEF This dish wasn’t as flavorful as I would’ve liked it. I knew that this noodle didn’t come with lots of sauce, but I expected it to be better seasoned. It just tasted dry and was a bit hard to swallow. SHRIMPFRIEDRICE The shrimps were very tasty and tender and the fried rice wasn’t too mushy or too dry. It was perfect. I really liked this dish because it was seasoned nicely and the texture was good. BLACKPEPPERLOBSTERS This dish was so yummy! The lobsters were very meaty and nicely seasoned. They were cooked perfectly and I loved that this plate was so cheap. The lobsters were a great size. We ordered one plate, which came with 2 lobsters and 4 people weren’t able to finish it. What a great deal! CHINESEBROCCOLIWTIHGARLICSAUCE The broccoli was a bit bitter and old, but it wasn’t too bad. I would’ve liked more leaf stems, but it was more of the roots. You could taste a hint of the garlic sauce even though it was drenched in it and it wasn’t overpowering the veggie flavor, which was great. CLAMWITHCHILIANDBLACKBEANSAUCE The clams were yummy and I love that they were a good size. They didn’t offer the baby ones, but a fairly good size where you could actually eat the clams and taste them. The sauce made the clams so juicy and nicely seasoned. DEEPFRIEDSQUIDWITHSPICYSALT The squid wasn’t as crispy as I would’ve liked it and it was a bit too salty for me. The texture was just off and I didn’t like it too much. I really like this place. The service is great! The food is wonderful! The best thing? It’s super cheap! It just goes to show that you can always find a new gem to eat at and don’t let the looks of a restaurant make you judge it because you never know what might come out from the kitchen and this place truly exceeded my expectations.

Decided to give this place a shot for lunch. It’s a family style Chinese restaurant with great deals for lunch. The food quality is decent, and has a huge variety to satisfy everyone at the table. We had the following: — S2 — Fish steak with orange sauce — the fish was okay, wayyy too saucy — S15 — Clam with sate sauce — clam was okay, nothing to rave about — S17 — deep fried squid with spicy salt — a little salty, but pretty decent — B2 — Beef with bitter melon and black bean sauce — the beef wasn’t that great — B4 — Beef with Chinese broccoli and oyster sauce — the beef wasn’t that great here either — B8 — Deep fried pork chop with spicy salt — a little salty, but delicious with rice — Lobster with ginger onion sauce — lobster wasn’t bad, but should of tried the black pepper lobster like everyone suggested. The price is unbeatable for the food they have, I would come back for lunch if I have a group of people.

The food here is just ok. Didn’t like it much but it wasn’t terrible. I came on a Thursday and it was packed! We were seated right away though and the waitress was very attentive and refilled our drinks throughout the whole time. We ordered the 2 lobster for $ 18.99: 3÷5− it was just ok, no enough flavor Eggplant veggies: 3÷5− pretty ok and decent Muc rang muoi: salty fried squid– pretty bland, some pieces were salty and some were bland, uneven flavors Soup bong bong ca: 2÷5− watered down bland and no flavor Peking duck: 3.5÷5− pretty ok and decent, the duck had a bit different taste to what I usually eat Hu tieu ap chao(fried flat pan noodles): 2÷5− taste burnt, didn’t like it either Anyways, after the meal, everyone in my family was super thirst. I could feel the MSG, of course because it’s a chinese restaurant but I don’t understand how all of their food is bland even with msg. **5% discount if you pay with cash!**

Whenever we come here, the sensor in my brain that says when to stop eating just turns off, and I end up eating about 3 times what I would eat at a normal meal on any given day. And of course though you’re close to blacking out on the drive home from food coma and discomfort, you have to stop for bubble tea while you’re in Chinatown… duh.(Good thing I’m not the one driving, cause I’m the one takin’ a nap.) LOBSTER. That is why people come here. The good news is that just about everything else tastes good, too. My momma likes to pick this place when I take her out to eat. She also loves to think that each person needs two lobsters on top of everything else.(No Momma… they don’t, and you’re breaking my wallet– even if they are cheap for lobster.) Salt and pepper squid is righteous. Peking duck is always satisfying, though the buns are microwaved or something because they are hard as hell. And for real, the only time buns should be hard are from a sick leg day at the gym. Like… EVER. To make a point to my mom, I threw one down on the table. Thuds like dead baby bird bodies falling from a tree. She laughed. Best mom ever. RICE. They’ll bring you a big olé container of it to go with the 80 dishes you ordered. Even if you barely touch it, do the right(Asian) thing! Take the whole thing home to make fried rice the next day! If you’re like me and patience is not your strongest suit, come early or not at peak hours as you can expect to wait in their tiny little space up front where everyone awkwardly stands around. When deciding what’s the best time to go, don’t forget that the church crowd rule generally doesn’t apply in this neck of the woods, but the Sunday Chinese School rule sure does. :((That shit SUCKED.) Service? Hit or total miss. What’s service? Who cares? Have some killer food and some rock hard buns.

If you want to have a healthy dinner, this is not the place. Straight off the bat, this place is greasy(as is the food) and sticky once you step in. I doubt they have appropriate time to clean off the floors. You’re in for a bit of a wait, but everything is piping hot and good. Service is definitely not what you’re here for, so keep that in mind. Twin lobster was good. It’s lobster. It pretty much is on par with one of my favorite Chinese places in the SGV in LA, but with smaller lobsters. We had it ginger scallion style, but I’m looking forward to black pepper fried next time. Loquat tofu with abalone mushroom & you choy was good but oily. The greens were much too oily, but the loquat tofu was piping hot and went well with the sauce. I love that my aunt and uncle love this dish since we hardly have it back home. The mushroom was just right(not too soft or hard) too! Pea Sprouts in Crab Sauce was so damn good, but oily. They also gave you a lot of this veggie, which is wonderful since it’s one of my favs! 3.5STARS really because of the food.
