Bibo’s Cafe

This review is based solely on the drinks we ordered and customer service. We came in really craving smoothies and tea. The restaurant is really clean and the décor is nice. From the outside, I expected it to be more of a casual drink place, but it’s definitely set up like a restaurant. The girls behind the counter gave us a menu and barely gave us a chance to glance it over before asking if we had decided yet. She was rushing us because she said she could atleast get started on something. Didn’t seem like the efficient way to do things, but what do I know? I don’t like my smoothies with dairy, I prefer mine with just fruit. Well, all their smoothies used dairy powder. So I opted to just drink off whatever the family gets. They have a full milk tea and green tea selection, but they were out of any green tea which was my next choice.
We ended up ordering a green apple smoothie, a mango smoothie and a strawberry banana smoothie, all with tapioca. We got our orders and left. In the car, we tried them and they were all gross. I’m not sure if they used a bad batch of tapioca or what, but they all had an awful after taste. We ended up drinking maybe a quarter of each drink before throwing them out. The tapioca itself was barely chewable.
Like mentioned before, the food menu looked good and from what I saw, the food looked good as well. People in the restaurant seemed happy. I know I just won’t try their drinks again. Also, the youngsters behind the counter could probably use a lesson in being a little more pleasant with the customers.

Very nice owners! All the food I have tried was great! They have the best spring rolls. Very fresh and so large! Love the peanut sauce! It is spot on! Must go right before noon or after. If not you will not get an table!

Food and drinks are decent for being on the East side. I’ve definitely had better boba though. Place can be busy during dinner time so plan accordingly!

I have been here about six times, the food is good and the place is clean. I don’t like the customer service. They can come off a bit rude. I see them treating and greeting everyone that walks in, somehow they fail to greet us when we go in. I don’t think the owners were there.
I had the Porkie Boo and it had a lot of fat. Over you should treat everyone equal, it’s all about the food and customer service.

Nice place and awesome calm atmosphere. Very clean and good looking small place. Would definitely recommend one of their smoothies. Normally get pineapple or strawberry but any flavor is great. If you are a fan of tea they have pretty good ones too (wife’s opinion).
Spring rolls are great. Ordered a half chicken with white rice and salad. The Chicken was well cooked and had great flavor. However it had so much sauce that it was hard to find my salad on the plate. It was alright! Also, if you are looking to get a Ph bowl go down to bellaire it would be worth the drive. Not the best place for meals but very good smoothies and atmosphere.

Great food. The bowls are amazing. Can’t wait to try the phở! Customer service was amazingly great. Come check it out!

I came in at 9 to get some somthies it already time to close the kind guy still kindly makes them for me 5 star for me !!! and a really good place to eat well recommended

Friendly owner, nice décor, nice selection of bubble teas would love some more tofu veggie friendly items that are more adventurous. On the bland side for me but keeping coming back with coworkers and the husband because it’s clean and fresh and owner & staff are wonderful.

Friendly, fast, warm customer service. Delicious food. Clean, modern space. Must try. I’ll be back.

I had the honeydew tapioca smoothie, it is to die for! And for my appetizer I got spring rolls, they are a whole lot better than the actual Pho21. And I always drove out of my way for that place but now I have these guys, which are 5min.away.
The prices here are lower than pho21. I’m in love at first sight! And for my dinner, I ordered the supa“phở“life. DELISH

I love this place. My husband and I have been here on a few occasions and it is always good! I’ve gotten the boom bowl a few times and it’s really good! All their egg/​spring rolls are good too! I wish they were open on Sundays because I would love to come by for lunch after church, but I am glad they give their employees that day off.

Yummy chicken phở, spring rolls! & sandwiches! Never disappointed! Family owned. Excellent service. Great for to-​go or dine-​in. Nice café ambience. Always smells delicious!

Stopped in for lunch and got the egg rolls and a kids chicken Phở bowl. It was DELISH. I will definitely be back.

Ordered porky fried rice, crab rolls, and coconut drink. Fried rice was good and the coconut drink «thing» was awesome. The crab rolls I thought would be like crab ragoons. They actually were cream cheese spring rolls and tasted no crab. Not bad over all. Small place inside Streep mall .
Extra tip money was added after writing the above review. Sorry but will no go to a place that changes the very generous tip I already gave.

Everything on their menu is delicious. tapioca, phở, spring rolls… you name it. yummm!

Very clean restaurant. Very tentative. Great food and priced right.
I had the shrimp with pork spring rolls, very good.
Then had the chicken phở, oh man, that was awesome. Fresh vegetables come on the side. Wow.

Stopped in some gnosh with my wife and son, he took us to a gem of a place. The bbq pork and charbroiled pork banh mi sammy with an over easy egg was excellent, the bowls of wonton soup were exceptional too… very flavor to the broth, jumbo wontons, the shrimp fried was large and in charge, slightly better than my banh mi, my son had the star of the the show… the chicka boom bowl… vermicelli with stir fry chicken and slices of egg roll… lots of interesting flavors competing for your attention… next trip, soon i hope, i may have to order the chicka boom bowl. Posted pics with high end slobber factors, just saying…

I really love every thing about this place. .The ambience, the food, the customer service and the delicious bibo. .
The place is very cozy and modern. Not really that kid friendly but great for a first date or a lunch date with a friend. The menu has lots to choose from. So if your not a big phở person. there’s plenty top choose from. My personal favorite is the chicken phở and the awesome spring roll. Always fresh and tasty. Phở is great as well.
