Our server was amazing. We had fried ravioli, pizza and a panini. All were very good. The cannoli at the end… heavenly. Server asked if I wanted it dipped in chocolate. I said, «What do you think?» Lol He laughed and said chocolate dipped, of course. Super sweet and to die for. The bread you get as a started is greasy and served with a her pesto. Yum!

I dined here on 3÷1÷2014. There was a special on Chicken Parmesan. Two of us at the table got the special. When we compared notes later, we both thought the flavor was a little off, and both had stomach upset later. The two at the table who did not get the special really liked the meals. The service was so fast that my entrée arrived before I was half way though my salad. I recommend avoiding anything on special.

I’m a «foodie» from New Orleans. I eat out A LOT and have the waistline to prove it. It is a Friday evening and we are in the off season, so the place was not as full as it may have been during the peak season. Our waiter was nice and very professional. He made valid recommendations of wine, appetizers and main courses. The garlic bread is truly that… garlicky, warm, and delightfully buttery. The house salad was crispy greens, tomato and cucumber with an Italian vinaigrette; simple but effective and also fresh. We did have the waiter-recommended chicken and mushroom ravioli and the special of the evening, veal parmesan. The former was savory and well seasoned with a beautiful creamy sauce that was spectacular. It is difficult to achieve a good balance when doing a cream sauce and often times it will separate or not congeal well. That was not the case here; it was smooth and wonderful. The veal parmesan was tender and delicious perched on top of home made pasta with a from-scratch tomato sauce. The food is not as highly seasoned as I am accustomed to at home, but was good none-the-less. I give four stars for the food and experience. The remaining star was taken away because of the kind of cheesy décor; styrofoam clouds on the ceiling which took away from what could have been an otherwise perfect dining room in the lobby of the deco-era Park Hotel.

We dined here about a year ago, and the experience was unfortunate. As I recall, the service from our tattooed waiter-musician was capable and friendly, and the food was slightly above average. The ambiance was very pleasant. But our evening was ruined at the end of the meal when I presented a gift certificate in partial fulfillment of our $ 75 dinner for two check. We bought the gift certificate from about six months prior to our visit, at which time Angel’s in the Park participated in the program. These certificates do not expire. Unfortunately, though, our amiable, embarrassed waiter returned to our table and informed us that he wasn’t allowed to accept the certificate. We objected, and asked to discuss this with the owner. The waiter complied by calling the man, who apparently had lodging in the hotel above the restaurant. Minutes later, Beelzebub appeared. This reprobate miserable excuse for humanity loudly informed us that we were outrageous for trying to use our certificate, that their non-participation in the program was posted by the register, and that he would call the police if we didn’t pay our full bill. When we asked to see the posted sign, at least two members of the staff were unable to locate it. The scene was horrific and unbelievable. Other diners in this truly lovely establishment found their mouths agape in astonishment. Ultimately, due to our persistence, the prince of darkness caved and allowed us to use our certificate. Although the ambiance, food, and service were acceptable, we cannot possibly recommend patronizing this owner again.

We went to this restaurant based on reviews online. Initially the service started our real good. But as things moved along, the server kept rushing us again & again. One of the dishes we ordered(pasta) was horrible, whereas the eggplant was very nice. Later, we felt we were being pushed to leave quickly. At the end, when we were thinking of what kind of dessert to pick, they didn’t even come & ask for it! Just assumed that we were done & brought us the bill(check). That just killed the fun. Overall, it was a weird experience — started great, but did not end well.

This is located in the Park Hotel in the historic district of Hot Springs. The food was AMAZING! The bruschetta was unlike any I have ever tried. It was a homemade loaf of bread covered in this yummy tangy tomato mixture. You will absolutly love it!!! I had the Garden Pata in a garlic butter sauce which was lite and delicious. My friend ordered the Three color tortellini with cream basil sauce which was the best italian dish I have ever had. Everything is made from scratch including the pasta and so fresh and yummo! For dessert we had a slice of cheesecake which melted in you mouth and the best cannolli I have ever had except the cherry and chocolate suace aren’t necessary. This place is perfect if you love Ialian food.
