A lovely place right on Lake Hamilton. Comfortable rooms with a good kitchen. Lots to do in Hot Springs — good food — nice little downtown to walk and shop. Don’t miss a visit to the Buckstaff to enjoy the hot springs — I’ve been there in the summer, the spring, and the fall — there’s always something to do. Or you can sit back, relax, read a book, and enjoy the peacefulness.

The Wharf Resort… a typical lakeside condominium, nicely tucked away on «Long Island» near Hot Springs, AR. The plus side… it’s quiet, and the lower building(building C) is right up near the water and the balconies oversee a pretty good channel of the lake for boat watching. The pool is pretty small, but it’s okay for the couple of families that are there on a week/weekend basis. The downside is similar to that of much of the downside of Hot Springs. Things are just old… and the Wharf, along with just about every hotel/condo/“resort” in the Hot Springs area, is not up to the standard that so many new resorts are now typically at. Overall, it’s a fine place to stay if you’re going to go to Hot Springs… but I’m not 100% sure why you’d be headed there in the first place. ;)
