Long Island Lake Resort

I was driving around looking for a hotel. I wanted to get a place near Lake Hamilton. And as I was driving around, I saw a sign saying Long Island Lake Resort. You turn down a road that is windy and goes up and down. Maybe ½ a mile down the road the hotel sits on your right.
This hotel sits on the shore line. There’s a nice dock with a swimming dock and boating slips. I tried fishing for a couple of hours from the dock… but got no bites. But, it was still quite nice out there.
The room is nice and clean. It has an electric stove and microwave and mini fridge. They allow pets without a fee. However, the total price was still more than I thought was fair. But, my wife wanted to stay here, so she wins. The bed is comfortable.
If the price was slightly lower, I’d consider staying here more days if it wasn’t for the price.
