Good! We had a nice lunch there! Enjoyed the chipotle honey chicken sandwich and blue cheese burger. The margarita was awesome!

Nice place to dine. Menu was extensive! Pleasant atmosphere and friendly server. The Pear and Walnut salad was delicious. My husband enjoyed the clam chowder. The squash and rice dish was excellent. My husband enjoyed the curry dish. A good dinner for both of us.

Best burger and fries in town. Happy hour is killer. Everything they make is magically delicious. Favorite place to get bistro style food, definitely best place to take a date in town. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, can’t recommend it enough

I always enjoy going here when in Hood River, great staff and were fabulously accommodating on New Years. Comfortable space and lots to choose from for every food palate.

Okay food. Ordered the salmon burger. Slightly overcooked salmon served with mayonnaise, RAW red onion(not nicely grilled or sauted, bummer), green-leaf lettuce, 2 slices of winter tomato, on a hamburger bun(American wheat, Celiacs and Paleos beware!). Kinda flavorless, but may be willing to try something else next time. The butternut squash soup with coconut was a bit watery. I am thinking that at bit more creamy or rich consistency would be awesome. Beware, it’s a bit of a «modern macho» place, as the menu offers the burgers and sandwiches with bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, advertising that the burgers and sandwiches lack flavor and require salt. I will try this establishment again to see if there is any improvement. Otherwise, it may just not be for me.

Great Spot for great food and Service. Service was very personable and attentive. No need to say more that covers it. My first time in this city I will come back for sure. CURRYARTICHOKEDIPANDTBASANDWICH was bomb dot Com!

I was really excited to try this place since the reviews on Trip Advisor were spectacular. Needless to say, I was slightly disappointed. I asked if they had a prosecco by the glass and the server said no. After I ordered my Pinot noir, I noticed that they did have champagne by the glass. I totally missed it. It would have been nice if she had pointed that out as an alternative. The Pinot noir was really on the light side and and had a fairly acidic finish. I know, I probably sound like a whiny wine snob, but I do like good wines and I unfortunately did not order correctly. The spicy chicken sandwich was good. All breast meat, lightly breaded and with a buffalo spicy sauce. Overall, food and experience was average/good. Really it’s 3.5 stars.

Excellent place. Nice quiet environment. Friendly and eager to please staff. They had a cider beer that was so good. Prices are not that high. The food was very good.

Decent place to eat kinda hidden unless you are looking for it. The food was above average but nothing to special. Service was great and very friendly was a little dirty next to the windows they sat us at but overall it’s a place I would go back to.

Had dinner here recently. The outdoor patio was very comfortable on this warm summer evening. We like to share items so we ordered the black bean and bacon soup, a caesar salad and we split a blackened wild salmon burger. Everything was so good! Their house bread is excellent as well. The servers were friendly and checked in with us often to see if we needed anything. Excellent meal.

I really like the variety to their menu. They also have a good wine selection. Ingredients are fresh. Their salads are very delicious. They do have patio seating which is great when the weather is good. I do wish their vegetarian pad Thai was really vegetarian as they add fish sauce. And it should not be in a vegetarian dish! I think that it negates the vegetarian title. I will return because I like this place. Hope that in the future they will really make it a vegetarian pad Thai dish!

We ordered the Pad Thai. The noodles, veggies and sauce were delicious. The chicken was over cooked. I added beef for $ 3 extra on mine. Tough and overdone. Our friends fish and chips were also over cooked. The pear and walnut salad was pronounced delicious.

My favorite spot in Hood River. Seating options indoors and out and upstairs or down. Eclectic cool feel on the inside and fun canopies and lights on the outside. Food is great. The staff is friendly and quick. I have steak whenever I go and am never disappointed. Food isn’t overly salty they let you add what you like as far as salt and pepper which I prefer. Don’t miss this place.

Get: Walnut Pear Salad with Grilled Chicken …Yourself there before 4pm for lunch menu! Cute lil’ venue with a nice outdoor seating deck. We unfortunately arrived minutes after 4pm and fell into the limbo of «they’re not ready for dinner and they’ve put away the lunch materials» and were unable to try what I had my heart set on: The Grilled Salmon Wrap. Instead we shared a Walnut Pear Salad and added the grilled chicken. The chicken was a $ 4 add so we were pleased to see that the portion that was added was hearty. Its worth noting that the Happy Hour begins at 5(at least on a Sunday) and had half priced apps as their special. We didn’t stay that long as we had to drive into the sunset but there were some chicken satay /curried chicken skewers that looked promising. Naturally the brew on tap was local and heavily Hood River(which is fine). Looked like maybe 6 – 8 taps total. We’ll be back on our next trip through and hopefully hit that lunch menu. Positives: Tasty salads, neat venue, good brew on tap Negatives: Limited menu based on when you are seated, can get pricey, view is not on par with other nearby restaurants.

What happened? I’ve been coming here for a long time as I travel through the Gorge its been a staple. Stopped here with my wife I had the fish sandwich she had the Beef Satay with curry appetizer. Fish was hand dipped, but served on some kind of cheap not toasted bun that fell apart. Wife’s was some kind of Thai’ish style curry with globby overcooked rice and thin sliced steak on top, NASTY! I used to love this little place. We didn’t finish either meal, server didn’t seemed to concerned that our plates were full when we asked for the check. This place has been here for the better part of 20 years so maybe people just don’t care any more, hard to say, but with everything in Hood River blowing up there are a lot of options we will be trying on our next visits.

This is a solid place for a glass of wine and tasty lunch. I ordered the soup of the day, which was fantastic — coconut curry with chicken. The salad was tasty(obviously just a bagged mix that the poured on the plate), but the dressing was great! Service was wonderful and this is a good option if you’re visiting Hood River and want something other than a burger.

Pleasantly surprised by the light indoor space and fun décor and a menu that covers both heavier items(fish and chips and burgers) from the grill and healthier dishes. I have a number of favorite places in Hood River and this is a good one for casual dining with family and friends since they should have something for everyone on the menu. Good selection of beer on tap and even hard cider options. I’m a fan of their salads, especially the 6th Street Pear and Walnut Salad, and recently their soup of the day, Coconut, Carrot and Ginger, was wonderful. The warm bread loaf with rosemary was a nice touch. The menu is a mixed bag that has a healthy dose of Asian flavors and seasoning. They do a nice job sourcing ingredients from local farms( ). My service at the bar was great.
