Great coffee and tea selection, EXTREMELY friendly staff.

overpriced for what we had. Ordered two egg and cheese on a roll(I had turkey bacon added) and 2 small coffees. I think we paid near $ 18! I wouldn’t do all that again for a breakfast. Was it good, yes. Was it worth it, no.

If you judge on taste and service then this place is a 4. If you factor in price it is a 3. Fact of the matter is this place is overpriced. You can walk a couple of blocks and get more bang for your buck.

Café Ganache is in a nice location, and has a great little work or chill area off to the side. Couches, chairs, tables, it all looks very inviting, unfortunately I’m always in a rush when I come here to grab something to go. And that’s the rub. I came back here(because the stuff they make is good!) after having not come back for a while, apparently forgetting that it takes them about 15 minutes to make a breakfast sandwich. Fortunately for me, my job doesn’t complain if I’m late, and ultimately it’s my responsibility to manage my morning time, but that’s a bit out of the ordinary, yeah? In addition to that, $ 10 for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee? Not even a fancy latte or anything, just brewed coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I’ll probably come back again, because I’ll forget about the wait and the price and only remember they make good food, but c’mon…

Although it is close to my apartment and I was desperate for a place with a decent bagel, I wish I had a DeLorean to travel back in time and head to a McDonald’s. First off, they only had one plain bagel left. To me, that says the last bagel is probably going to be old and hard. And low and behold, it was the closest thing to a solid brick. I defy anyone to eat it without requiring a crown replacement at the dentist. It made a delightful addition to my garbage can. I also requested a hot chocolate which tasted like coffee and I hate coffee. She also added cinnamon to it which I did not ask for and the only milk available was skim milk. Man, this is a café devoid of food supplies. I spent 6 bucks here thinking I would get something halfway decent. Wow what a complete waste of money that was. But at least now I know not to get robbed by this shotty establishment again with soup kitchen food.

Just wanted give it a try based on their Unilocal rating, since it is close to my place. Unfortunately, I can not give as positive comments as the other reviewers. Turkey swiss melt sandwich I had was very dry and seriously lacking any taste, no condiments whatsoever. Plus microwaving bacon is a not method that I could consider professional, not even for a breakfast sandwich.

Great wraps, friendly service and yummy sweets. Those brownies are amazing! Best iced coffee too.

This review is for the breakfast burrito and graham cracker iced coffee because that’s all we’ve ever tried there. They’re both excellent(although pricey). The breakfast burrito is probably the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had!

It’s convenient. It’s also overpriced and the food is mediocre at best. I found the owner to be scattered and the customer service lacking. It is convenient if I don’t feel like walking two blocks to Starbucks.

Great place for a snack or coffee. The graham crack coffee is quite addictive, and the wraps are tastey as well. And if you want something sweet, they have french toast muffins. Yes, you read correctly-french toast muffins. All the staff is really friendly and the seating area is cozy. If you’re in the area, check it out!

3 words: graham cracker roast. Delicious. Their breakfast sandwiches tend towards the greasy side so if that is your style, go for it!

My friend and I were driving around when the sleepiness started to hit us instantly. We didn’t intend on spending as much time as we spent inside the café as we had planned. It was really adorable, they had a self-serve tea station, comfortable couches, books, magazines and toys. The music playing was a little too loud, but modern and fun. The only strange(or funny?) thing was that they were sharing the space with a dry-cleaning lady. It was quaint and I would definitely return to this location.

A great luncheonette! The server and the co-owner, Stephanie, were very helpful and spot on. I told them things I like, and they led me right to a tasty Cuban type wrap with turkey instead of pork heated like a panini. Wow! Really good and filling. The seating area is half living room couches and round tables. There is also counter space near the«pick up your food» area. I enjoyed everything about this place, even free WiFi. I’ll be back!

Pros: The graham cracker coffee and eggnog coffee(seasonal) are delicious. Bagels with cream cheese are good. Staff is always friendly as well. Cons: They NEVER open/close when they say. Holiday weekend? Forget it — closed 3 days. I’ve walked up on a Saturday or Sunday 20 – 30 minutes after opening time to find that no one has showed up to open the store. They often close 20 minutes early on the weekends too. I find that if I need coffee either before 8am or after 2:30pm on the weekends, I’ll wander over to Bwe or Red Lion instead.

So cute! This is pretty much the only café(coffee + deli sandwiches) uptown, so I’m happy to report it is a good one! Looking for a place to grab a breakfast sandwich and some coffee, we stumbled upon this place. They have your classic egg sandwiches made to order, but also an array of other items — mostly healthier egg white options. They also have a lot of lunch options — some which are premade and others made to order. The setup itself is a little odd bc it is in the bottom of a high rise apt building and the counter is separated from the seating area by a dry cleaner. The iced mocha tasted more like a chocolate shake, so next time I’ll have to specify how to make it I guess. The turkey melt was also a bit lackluster. All in all, in happy to have discovered this little gem and will be back often!

Ganache is in a great location close to the water, has outdoor seating, and lots of benches surrounding the building to sit and drink a cup of coffee. It seems, as a customer, to be a clean place on the inside, and the food is pretty good. They have a wide variety of choices food, tea, coffee, and smoothie wise, but it is pretty pricey. I like that they use coffee ice cubes for the iced coffee, but their iced coffee isn’t the greatest itself, it tastes a little sour and is expensive. I have noticed that the staff is decently friendly, but occasionally get a not so friendly, more straight to the point staff member, but nothing that would make me not want to come in.

I love coming here. I pretty much start my day with a smoothie and stay all day to work/eat lunch/drink coffee. The coffee and food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Every once in a great while there’s a screaming child(like any other public place) but generally quiet enough to hold a business call and concentrate.

I normally drink a bolder blend of coffee, but when the friend I had with me sampled the Graham Cracker blend and recommended it, I thought I would give it a try. It’s good enough that I drank it without cream and the chocolate chip cookie I had with it was surprisingly(because of its light colored appearance), one of the best I have ever put in my mouth! Double-thumbs up!

Ganache Café fails in a number of categories, which is unfortunate considering it’s the only far-uptown gourmet coffee option. The space is split into 3 sections: coffee bar, dry cleaners and seating. The coffee bar area is packed with tables and walls of prepackaged items for sale, which limits the space for waiting customers. The seating area, on the other hand, actually has limited seating and almost no outlets(so don’t pick this spot for extended work). As for the coffee, I actually think the prices are reasonable. That said, despite using Illy coffee, which is amongst my favorites, the coffee tastes undeniably stale. Either the coffee beans are stale or they’re ground too far in advance. Either way, they’re not doing Illy coffee justice. The food offers variety, but the quality is more of a diner than what’s expected at a coffee shop like Ganache. My breakfast sandwich was indelible, which is tough to accomplish considering its eggs, ham and bread. On top of all that, the staff’s conversation about being hung over and nauseous made my experience at Ganache one I’ll never risk repeating.
