I brought my ipod touch in because the main navigation button was broken. And rather than charge me 80 bucks for a new button, Marty changed my settings so an electronic button would show up on my screen. He didn’t even charge me for the quick fix and I was grateful that he saved me 80 bucks. I’ll definitely be bringing in all my Apple products to him. Thank you Marty for the STELLAR customer service!

Marty fixed my iPhone 5 and MacBook Pro! My iPhone’s battery completely died out and he fixed it fast. It was a little pricey but totally worth it. Also my MacBook Pro needed a new hard drive which Apple themselves were gonna charge me over $ 700 to change out the entire system. Marty did diagnostics, ordered the part, and fixed it right back up. It took sometime to get completely fixed, but it only cost $ 230 which is way way better than the cost that Apple was gonna charge me. Thanks Marty!

I wanted to like this place. I had already been in once to buy a new plug for my laptop when my ex threw it into the jungle by our house. You know the part that attaches to the power cord with a magnet, just the little piece that has the metal prongs that go into the outlet. They had those on-hand, and I bought one for less than $ 7. Take that, horrible ex-boyfriend. So when my laptop started shutting itself off randomly and seemingly without reason while I was writing a paper, I decided to drop it off at Tropic Mac without hesitation. At the start, the customer service was okay. Heather took my laptop and explained the fee system to me and told me the diagnostic would take two days. It was a Thursday when I dropped it off, so I hoped they would call over the weekend but my feelings weren’t hurt when they hadn’t called by Monday. When they hadn’t called a week later, I called them. Heather told me that my computer had stopped turning itself off so they still didn’t know what was wrong with it, and again that they would call later. Again, I waited and they didn’t call for about 5 days so I called them. The next person I talked to(not Heather, not Marty… the other guy) answered and told me that I needed a top case replacement and that they had some on the way already, and my computer would be done by the end of the week. Again, I gave them a straight week. The next time I called, Marty told me that the shipment was still on its way and they would call me. I gave them another week and Marty told me that they had forgotten about my computer and that the shipment had never come. In all, my laptop was at Tropic Mac for a month when it just needed a part replaced. None of the staff seemed like this was such a big deal, I barely got an apology for the long wait, and when I came to pick it up Marty seemed a little taken aback that I wasn’t that impressed that he had«upgraded» me to the new top case version at no charge.(Can you even get the old kind anymore?) Just wanted my laptop back, dude.
