I enjoyed coming here. I only went to two other places and still would prefer Srita. Since she is very booked, I had no choice but to go to Mermaid Spa once and the result was having my skin removed. OUCH! I think Srita should add on sugaring body hair removal as another option for people who prefer it. Now that’ I have tried sugaring I never want to wax again. Overall, she was the only person in Hilo I would recommend for waxing.

I meant to write a review for so long now. Went to The Honey Pot last February 2014 and had a Brazilian wax done. Meeting Srita is a blessing, because I looked at other places on waxing the cost was a bit higher than what she charges and the wonderful reviews on Unilocal helped me greatly in scheduling an appointment with her. The comments that you read is all true she’s very good in what she does and a awesome person. This January 2015 I had my first facial with her and it was great. Starting to use her skincare products that she carries as we’ll.

Excellent service! Great location, very easy to find in Hilo town. When u walked in, it had a comfortable «spa» setting. Clean and cute. Very cheap! And she did so good with my brazillian. I finally found a waxing salon that satisfies my high expectations, especially when it comes to my brazillian!
I also appreciate the fact that she fit me in a slot to get me waxed sooner. I will be going back in 6 weeks :)

She was quick but really made sure all the hair was gone. The quality in her work is definitely the best. I will definitely be returning. :)

I read the reviews before I went and was NOT DISAPPOINTED! Srita is fantastic and very professional. I’ve been waxing for the past 5 years, mostly stateside at European Wax Centers, so my standards are very high. Srita is the ONLY person I will go to on Big Island. You must book more than a week out, but she is SO worth the wait. Anyone who’s had a bad brazilian knows what I’m talking about. Do yourself a favor and book w/​Srita. You’ll never waste your time w/​anyone else on Big Island.

And like other reviews have said, Srita is calm and professional throughout the entire process which can be extremely nerve wracking and uncomfortable. I will definitely be seeing her again.

Srita enjoys a well-​deserved reputation for being the best esthetician on the Big Island. I recommend her to all my friends for all their waxing needs. Expert waxer. I’ve had hundreds of waxes and Srita by far is one of the best. She doesn’t miss a single spot! Super friendly, super comfortable environment, can make appointments through txts, knows the tricks to make it as least painful as possible. Shes definitely a pro. I hope she gets an assistant who she trains to be as good as her because she’s starting to book up way in advance! She rocks. I won’t go to anyone else on the island.

First of all this place really is extremely clean and sanitary! Sanitation is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!
I have waxed before and she has a gentile yet quick hand so there is only a quick flash of discomfort.
It is best to set up an appointment by texting her as she books fast.
Any guy that wants to look his best shirtless needs to come in. You will look hot and smooth on the beach while surfing or doing any of the other Island activities.

BTW– first waxing is the hardest cuz the hair is thicker after the first one it’s a cake walk. I recommend starting off with your back, then chest and stomach.

Srita was professional, personable, and thorough! She also went out of her way to allow me to come in after a late night flight into Kahului, Maui. (Unbelievable customer service!!) Her location was so convenient, right near the airport. Not to mention that her prices are basically unbeatable, I had both a Brazilian and underarm wax, and I will definitely be giving her a ring next time we come to Hawaii! If we lived there I’d be a regular!
